if it was an ls it would still be bad ass but yes, this was extra special and it sounds fucking awesome.its o.k sometimes to "NOT" ls swap the world appearantly
Don't fit in golf , both stock engines in that car can be easily tuned and are both compact, but golf has gr8 stability control that that car doesn't have
Wait saw the video he could has fit LS bc custom mounts so It would be better with LS bc that engines is smaller and better that than that 3 series shit
I bought a 94 mk3 a couple months ago, and I've been working on restoring it back to it's former glory. Watching this, and also the fact that this mk3 came from the same city as mine, gives me full inspiration to complete my restoration build. I seriously needed to watch this.
I got my hands on a nice 5 speed cabrio. Not EXACTLY sure what I’m going to do to it. I know im going to make it perform much better than it currently does and restore a lot of parts on it, but idk if i should just end up buying a rwd beater or making this cabrio something you only see in a dream.
Dude is like the main character from food wars. All these ingredients shouldn’t work. But he makes them work and does it in an unbelievably low amount of time.
You should have heard it when it was in his e34. He went to a trophy truck event and saw that everyone ran 8 to 1 headers, which produced a sound like it was 'revving to the moon'. So of course, Mike took a week out of work, ordered some random eBay tubing, and made 8 to 1 headers for the e34. Holy shit did that thing sound amazing!
This is a car fit for hoonigan. Its so over the top. Most people do 1J/2J, or LS swaps in the usual suspect cars. Nobody goes M62. Nobody does it in a golf. Especially not a Mk3. So rad. Really clean too. Diggin the metal work in the doors and the roof.
I was trying to figure out where this guy is from and he’s from ECS Tuning Lol I remember I watched him do a oil change on a B8😂 glad to see him on Donut!✌️
So glad Zach finally has a solo video! Loved* your energy! You can tell he has experience with cars and it’s a great! James and Nolan are awesome as well! Thanks donut, you have the best content on RU-vid.

That's probably one of the craziest car I've ever seen other than the GT 4586... and that thing is loud as F... Great video... Keep up the good work...
of course xD no one is gonna think "luxury sports car engine in a freaking econobox" i mean, it had a vr6 already xD but hey, still an econobox, a very fuel thirsty econobox, a box
Daaamn. Engine swap, radiator and traction on the back, own subframe, light door panels, upgraded suspension, steering rack and widebody. This is ALL I want do to with FWD cars. (exepct the drift part)
I loved watching this build progress! Especially since my fiance has a 1995 MK3 GTI VR6 :) we've had discussions about making it AWD and slapping a turbo on it. It already is an impressive NA build so we're happy with it currently. I wish the MK3's got more appreciation tbh. Even the Jettas are neato! Fiance had his dads MK3 Jetta when we met, and his dad still whips that thing around.
Totally sick build, was expecting a LS....but no. That BMW motor is definitely different and not to mention much more difficult to install. Impressive!
I have a 6 cyl subaru outback diesel boxer engine, trans and suspension on a custom made chassis on my wide body 89 2-door geo metro... its been 7 years and I still think its the craziest and best decision I have made
