I cooked for a college football team for a season and it is NOT easy. Them boys big af but are still extremely picky with what they eat. They fired the dude before me cuz the players were just not happy. I remember the first day at work a group of the olinemen were watching me cook thru the window grunting like excited pigs or something.i figured it out tho a lot of them still have very childish taste buds and don't like any of their food to touch or they gotta have their meat cooked to their exact specification. Like they'll all tell you I like this medium, and that means a different one for each of them. Or there's a big dude who's on a macros plan and you gotta trick him to eat vegetables by putting a little cheese on the top of a salad or tacos. It's down right exhausting cuz whatever you're cooking you're cooking A LOT. don't get me started on Louisiana boys who can't explain what they like , you just gotta give them the food and either they freeze and you know they think it's yucky or they proceed to just start crushing that rice and gravy it's LUDICROUS to watch
“They dont like their food touching “ thatll piss me off honestly its not that serious unless you have to opposites on your plate , like i dont want my watermelon touching my burrito ok 🤷🏾♂️ fair enough i understand. But to say something like i dont want my mac n cheese to touch my fried chicken would have me heated frfr😂😂😂
Actually got to cook (chef) breakfast for the Dawgs back in 2011 at the Omni downtown ATL before they played Boise St! They were talking like they were going to get their asses kicked!
Too bad the actual academically gifted students aren't treated as well. Oh yeah, I forget college sports have turned universities into profit enters, not schools.
Great to see players cooking their own food. Adding more skills for life when football is over, so they dont fall into just eatong fast food and junk food
@@jgg9630 no bud….not every D1 program eats like that. if everyone was on the level then we wouldn’t be splitting everyone yup. nice try tho. you must be new to the channel or didn’t go to a D1 college. it’s alright.
@@jgg9630sorry bro you aren’t gonna try to convince that UMass or other G5 schools or FCS schools are eating like this 😂. if so why aren’t those same lesser schools pumping in 9 figures in their athletic and nutrition programs.
A steady diet of, basted Commodore, grilled Game Cock, roasted Tiger, sautéed Volunteer, smoked Gator, baked Wild Cat, and last but not least deep fried War Eagle…
Try blackening if ur pan frying steak... use a pan or pot top that's just big enough to cover the entire steak if u wanna get the inside to cook more without charing the outside... hit me up if u want that fire Q recipe... 👍✌️
I hope the student-athletes get nutrition advice regarding the dangers of sugar, the importance of feeding their colon (gut health/gut microbiome) and the benefits of intermittent fasting (one version: all meals done within 8-10 hour interval or less). Those three things. (Of course there are others.) Need alternatives to sugar infused cereals for breakfast. Suggest "overnight oatmeal" (oatmeal soaked overnight in milk, or better, kefir - bio-active milk). Add banana and berries, perhaps some cacao powder and/or almond butter. Have pickles, sauerkraut and kimchi along with other gut friendly veggies like sweet peppers on the lunch and dinner buffet line. I'm seeing more 'No added sugar' on product labels. People are wising up. I know these are high-powered athletes but they can benefit from this advice.
It could but let’s keep it real why would it really matter? And why do you care enough where the money goes? Half the time you’re getting scammed anyways. And half these dudes won’t even make it to the league. You hating on the low. Go lift some weight
