Tia and Tamera were not typical child stars. They're grounded, Christian, and had parents and brothers to remind them that they were just regular people!
You can tell these girls had a balanced life. Kudo's to their parents for raising children who have their head on there shoulders. You see so many childhood stars falling apart by this age.
The craziest part to me about their fame is that as identical twins we all can EASILY tell them apart. As if they are our big sisters and we grew up with them, because we did in a sense. @@Neku628 nope. They're identical. Egg split in half. But the Olsen twins apparently are fraternal. 2 full eggs in same conception. Its crazy bc sometimes fraternal look identical and identical look fraternal. In this case, imo they look identical as they are, but we can tell them apart. Im still not able to tell the Olsen twins apart tho.

When I was little I wanted to be an actress, now that I'm older I still want to try. I don't think I could have done it as a kid hearing all these stories about child actors. Your mom is a saint for keeping you everyone from getting wrapped up in that world and not letting everything go to your head.

@@frenchgirl753 my parents were the same. They projected their insecurities on me. It's a shame because I always wonder had I truly followed my dreams when I was younger how my life would have been. But I'm 28 now so I just try to do everything I can so i dont hold any further regrets

Hey, shoutout to you and your twin for not being the typical rebellious Disney girls, who break out and become a bad influence as soon as they leave Disney. Y'all are so beautiful, your beautiful souls shines out honestly.
we should also acknowledge that growing up in the industry and especially working for Disney is mentally challenging. They have to become adults very fast, have the weight of hundreds of people's job relying on the success of the show they are in, the hours, and above all the public fake personae the child star has to be. We all go through a phase were we tried to find out who we are, and we are a little rebellious. Child stars can't rebel, have to be smiley and nice all the time, even when they are sad or angry, and you can't explore who you are because the studio wants you to be someone else. And again, being in the public eye all the time with media judging you (seriously, I remember a talk show talking about Miley Cyrus' virginity, she was 17.. gross). so it is not a surprise that a lot of them have some kind of mental breakdown...
OMG, Tia, this video is FAN-TAS-TIC!!! In my opinion, you should absolutely consider looking into being a mentor to child or adolescent actors/actresses and their families. Another idea is to take this on tour and elaborate so that you maybe turn it into a 2-3 hour/day seminar or presentation. I believe you'd be blessing so many people (and you could make money)! You spoke just like a life coach & I reeeeeeeeeally LOVE your personality.

I just loved Sister Sister. I remember running from school just to make it home on time to catch the episodes, I would hurry and do my homework & prepare my snacks. When the show would start I did not want to be bothered 😂 I'm so glad that my nieces & nephews are watching it now & they love it! To see them act out scenes from the show is the cutest thing ever.

For a child star you did pretty well to stay relevant as an actress! You had seventeen again and twitches 1 & 2 after sister sister. As a kid loved those movies. Then you matured into the game which was awesome 👏🏼 you had a reality show with your sister and now you in family reunion which is going for it’s season 3! Love that show!! I LOVE how real you are and how real this video is. I used to DREAM of being a child star and even moved to LA as an adult to pursue acting.
