I live in tampa and I might get some slack for this but I feel like it has gone downhill. Whilst I am thinking about living in orlando since I graduated from college in tampa, minus theme parks I feel like orlando has a lot more to offer than tampa. Therefore I choose orlando over tampa any day. Tampa just doesn't have a lot to do nowadays
Nah you should get slack for this, Orlando and Tampa both had good and bad to them. Originally before moving we looked at Tampa but Orlando fit everything we looked for better. There is a lot to do in Orlando and I think many people just think it is a vacation city, also Tampa isn't too far away to spend a weekend if someone wants to.

I grew up in Tampa, Moved to Orlando for 12 years. I now live back in Tampa. I love Tampa so much more , it’s cool for me to go visit Orlando just like any other tourist from out of state would. But to live? Tampa is just so much better, Orlando traffic is unbearable, plus why live in FL to be in the middle of the state and not close to a beach.
So I appreciate this insight. You are so right the traffic in Orlando during peak season can be unbearable (coming from someone who likes their space). My family and I like the beach Beach but when we officially moved to Florida it was for what Florida is from coast to coast, the people and the freedoms we enjoy here. Thats why I partnered with someone who lives in Tampa! I love the whole area Tampa to Orlando and while I chose Orlando I knew That Having that differing opinion in Tampa Is very important to have.

Commute times are so variable depending on someone's budget and location that is hard to state. also being Orlando based I have videos specific to Orlando that cover all of that you should check it out! @@jf4272 I think Tampa in many ways can be just as vibrant and I think it has its own special place. Miami probably has a more vibrant nightlife I feel but Tampa is just an amazing community in itself and that's why it was the number one relocation city in Florida last year.
@@jf4272 I do, desert living just isnt for me. I lived in Arizona for some time and not a fan. I love trees and east coast living. Vegas is fun but remember is all about what you love and need for your life!
I am shocked you didn't cover the price of living between Tampa and Florida. which one is more expensive. Are the houses in Tampa more expensive than in Orlando is the price of living generally more expensive in Tampa than in Orlando.

I’m finding more job opportunities in Orlando that match my interests, a lot better neighborhoods, and better transit. Maybe someday Disney will buy the Rays and move them to Orlando too.
Can you do a vid on tech jobs in Orlando? I lived in Orlando all of the 90's and there never was any tech jobs and the city could never get traffic under control. They should have established some kind of light rail years ago, I know when I lived there the city was trying to developed it but nothing ever happened. I keep hearing that its an upcoming tech hub but when I look for jobs not so much.
absolutely! many companies are slowly moving jobs to the city so that will take time to build up the available jobs. Do you currently live in the city now?
I get that! for me its always hockey and football, which is weird being in Orlando haha but the great thing is we can travel to tampa to watch games as my buffalo teams come to town.
So I’m my time traveling and being in the military I can tell you this feeling is in many places. And a city to one person might be the best place ever but to another there is a better option out there! Like I say go where you’re treated best!
You know I agree on many levels with you! We enjoy Orlando for what it offers but Tampa is growing in a way that really benefits those who want coastal living and great communities. Thats why I am also expanding to Tampa because so many are loving that area :)
Thats what I hear a lot. The thing we always love about central florida is between tampa and Orlando it serves 2 different types of people in terms of their wants and needs. I will say we enjoy Orlando because of the parks, well my wife does I prefer calm haha, but we were able to get more land for the price at the time than Tampa could provide. Do you travel to Orlando for the parks or other things?
@@orlandorelocation oh no not just for the parks Orlando has a bunch of stuff to to for me and my wife as well and I’ll agree the houses in Orlando are waaaay bigger and more land honestly that’s my biggest downside to Tampa/st Pete the vibe of Orlando is very dope
Eh maybe to some, don’t stress though I am sure many moving here will move back in coming years. Not everyone will be able to take their first major hurricane.
