Diluc and jean really do be having that awkward exes kinda vibe, their sun and moon constrast in character design, personality and and their ways of protecting mondstadt just SCREAMS of opposites attract, the fact that they might already be friends when they were younger (both having turtle as pets) just fuels it even more. I'm a bit surprised that a lot of people finds this ship as a "terrible" ship, even though it has more than enough chemistry to back it up, at least compared to some other ships.
i think jean means that noelle is too nice that even noelle can pity the enemy and put her life on danger... yes noelle is strong but she need to be tough mentally ... you can see that she is too nice on her hangout event that other people or enemy can exploit her kindness.
@@JohnCivor Right? And have you read the actual knight hand book?! There is a rule that actually says Noelle has to report to Jean if any of the knights take advantage of her kindness and shove their duties on her..
Primo Geovishap: *I know I am already past my prime, but, to be destroyed by a **_maid,_** among other things....* Azdhaha: *Here, here, just let it out, my boy.*
@@rusdanibudiwicaksono1879 primo:AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ALL I KNOWW ALL I KNOWWWWWWWW LOSING TO A MAID IS DEFINETALY A LOSING GAMEREEEEEEE
Jean's Logic: Klee is just a child, her weapon is dangerous to people BUT welcome to knights of favonius! Nolle on the other hand is trying her best to be a knight, BUT I don't know, she is still not ready.
It because Noelle is the type of person to work until death her kindness is the reason she going to die in some of her voice line she said she almost died trying to save someone in dragonspine
@@TheScarletKing13 so you're telling me that a child who is capable of destroying a whole city is fine but an maid who is trying her best to help others is not? And aren't Jean is a hypocrite if that is her reason for not accepting Noelle? I mean she is literally over worked and lost consciousness because of exhaustion for helping Mondstadt people. Jean and Noelle is not different.
Klee was brought in to try to get her under control before she did serious damage to Mondstat, plus, Jean wanted to make sure that everyone understood that if anything happened with Klee, the Knights would take responsibility for it, instead of people doing something stupid with Klee and pissing off Alice, cause she does not sound like someone you want to piss off. Noelle might be strong and able to fight, but if she does things like charging up Dragonspine in the middle of a blizzard with zero preparation or supplies, she’s just going to get herself and everyone with her killed. Don’t get me wrong, I love her, but if she can’t even take the time to be properly equipped for a rescue mission, then she’s nowhere close to ready to be a Knight.
I think jean is right about noel she is not yet ready for dangers outside of the mondstat she is too overpowered that i fear she may end up destroying every enemy and nothing will be left for the traveler
True. NOELLE KEEPS MOVONG FORWARD TILL ALL THR BOSSES ARE DESTROYED, AND THAT IS HER 1%. I dont use her in my team in fear that me using her 1 percent will destroy my device too
It’s likely because she still has some unresolved feelings regarding him. If it were something simple such as having grown up together and knowing each other for a long time, Kaeya would have 2 lines as well
@Thrown Gambit In Jean’s defense, it’s not exactly that Diluc is doing the job better. He’s just not bound by societal and diplomatic regulations anymore. Granted yes, Diluc is the strongest person in Mondstadt with Varka gone(Venti not withstanding). But it’s a lot easier to do whatever you want to round up criminals and other dregs of Teyvat when the only person that COULD meet out your punishment is knowingly allowing you to do so lol
Jean said that *she* needs to work harder to get Diluc to see the Knights in a better light. That’s wrong. The Knights as a whole needs to work harder for that. No matter what he says, I doubt that he has all that negative of an opinion of Jean, so anything she does is not going to have an effect on his opinion on the Knights of Favonious as a whole.
What jean means is that Noelle is way too loyal and a very dedicated person that will do anything to complete something, she once got unconscious for 3 days because she was helping an adventurer who was stuck in Dragonspine and carried him to the foot of the mountain, surely this can explain how stubborn Noelle can be when it comes to helping others, Jean is Worried that Noelle might put her life in trouble while she's doing Knights of Favonious work when She becomes one
lorewise dude.. for example amber is bad in the game but in story she is one of the strongest, her aim is one of the best in monstadt, mihoyo should buff her more, and then bennett who is weak lorewise but op in game
@@ralphs.ungson8425 in a few of his voicelines he says that he might destroy Monstandt in the future. Whether this is due his alchemy getting out of control or something to do with the fact he's probably a homonculus remains to be seen
Jean: I fear she is not quite ready for the dangers that lie beyond Mondstadt's walls My Noelle killing Geo Hypo and Primo Geovishaps for training: 👁👄👁
I also ship Jean x Diluc but please don't insult or bring down other ships. People ship Jean and Lisa and they don't need to convince you of anything like we don't need to convince them of anything about jealuc
I have Jean on my team now time to get Diluc. Speaking of which, when I was playing with my friend who had Zhongli and Qiqi I had Jean and I yeeted both of them. But when he turned into Diluc, Jean's elemental skill did nothing to him. Coincidence? I think NOT! Jealuc confirmed.😂🤣
"Master diluc is my senior" Excuse me?? You are the same age and although he became a Cavalary Captain at 18, he left the Knights after his father died, he isn't your senior... Also is it too much to just confess to him already jezz women...
@Gachabrain that still dosent mean anything tho. Master Diluc Ragnvindr was indeed higher than Jean Gunnhildr when he left. But he is no longer part of the knights. If he was the grand master I could understand. But isn't even in there anymore. I would call it respect, since Diluc was the one Facing Il Dottore to ensure the safety of Mondstadt after he left the Knights. And also because he is still protecting Mondstadt after he left, but that still doesn't explain the Senior part... Oh well I think they look cute together anyways
@@spryzen001 generally yes, I consider senior someone who knows more than me and studied the same thing as i did or works in the same ramification as me
the line for noelle... there’s no way jean means that. she’s trained the hardest out of any knight and she’s still not admitted ??? this poor girl. her efforts are not even acknowledged by the grand master. it almost seems like jean knows how capable she is and might see her a potential threat to her position ?
Jean believes that Noelle's too much of an extreme hero and believes she might hurt or borderline kill herself just to get the job done which is too extreme she's also too stubborn to the point she was unconscious for 3 days just because she saved an adventurer from Dragonspine, Jean is just worried that if she lets Noelle into the Knights of Favonious Noelle would hurt herself too much and force herself to finish her works which is why Jean doesn't let Noelle into the KoF as it puts Noelle too much at risk Also I believe it's because the Knights tryouts also has Noelle failing some tests
Jean: "I'm afraid Noelle wouldn't be ready for the dangers outside Monstadt's walls..." my Noelle who fought Dvalin, Childe, Raiden and La Signora while also being a support and a main dps: 🧍🏻♀️?
Noelle almost froze to death in dragonspine saving someone heavier than her by carrying them... AND HERE IS JEAN SAYING SHE ISNT READY, ALSO SHE DIDNT HAVE HER VISION WHEN SHE SAVED THE PERSON
It's more like Jean is saying that Noelle is too selfless to the point that it's suicidical, it's not that she's not ready in strength but not ready in common sense that will probably cause her own demise if left uncheck.
@@kyumazu1926 Not always, but that wasn’t the question. They said it’s probably because Jean(I’m assuming they meant Diluc there) was part of Jean’s past and probably nothing else. Kaeya is also a part of Jean’s past. And since we know Kaeya was Diluc’s adopted brother and already a knight by the time Diluc was made Calvary captain and thus could’ve had the opportunity to become Jean’s superior, there’s a hole in their logic. I’m not saying they were wrong, I’m saying the reason they provided is insufficient
1:16 Just yesterday, I brought Noelle along to fight Azhdaha and beat the crap out of him. I'm pretty sure she can handle the dangers as big as the Earth Dragon.
First time I ever noticed her pitch change when talking about Diluc and Sucrose. Makes me believe the VA had to record those lines separately so the pitch wasn't consistent.
Jean: I'm not sure Noelle is ready for what's beyond Monstadts walls... My C6 lvl 90 Noelle with 5 fully upgraded legendary artifacts and lvl 90 weapon: *Silence mortal*
Everytime I see Noelle’s story, I feel like laughing at that nonsense - her story being Noelle trying hard to be a knight and people thinks she can’t be one, etc.- The knights thinks she can’t hold her candle while the knights on duty (when you talk to them) can’t even defend the gates from slimes and normal Hillybillies. As someone who reads the voice lines, Mondstadt knights are the most stupidest-useless bunch I’ve seen *lore-wise*
@Gachabrain the favonius knights have never resolved any problem. I mean it’s understandable that us, as the traveler, should do the quests so that the story goes on. It’s just that when it comes to lore and when you talk to them, these Favonius knights hasn’t done a single thing and their problems are too trivial that even a commoner can do it. Yes the captains are strong, but it feels like a lion is leading a bunch of ants. I’m just invested to the lore. Genshin lore is good. The only thing I don’t like is the knights, including Jean, thinks Noelle isn’t fit to be a knight while these scattered useless knights can’t even defeat a hoard of slime. I’m not even a Noelle fan.
@@TheManWhoCanBeMovedd i think it’s because jean is worried about how noelle has a big hero complex, and she might be something stupid and die due to her complex
Okay, so I think I can shed some light on a few things! Jean has said in-game that the reason she hasn't promoted Noelle isn't due to her lack of ability, but rather her overabundance of naivety. She worries that Noelle won't be able to stand up for herself to the other trainees and knights, and that she might trust someone who could get her hurt. Secondly, yes. 95% of the knights currently in the city of Mondstadt are lazy (the one hiding in the bushes), weak (the one who ran from slimes), or disabled (the one with chronic back pain). This is because all of the most able-bodied and trained knights were taken with Varka on his expedition (barring a few exceptions in the form of the playable characters to ensure Mondstadt doesn't crumble in their absence). You're right, they are stupid, or weak, or unable to fight. But that's not because of poor design, or even to lift the Traveler's worth in the game. It's because of the current events in Mondstadt, that were taken into consideration even before we made contact with the city.
For people that keeps saying that Noelle should be added to the knights, then you guys need to think twice before asking for that since if you really like noelle you're probably aware how selflessly dangerous she is to the point that she might cause her own death.
