I don't really care about that. It's more that it's just... weird. 124k likes for lipsyncing to text acting like a jew in Auschwitz? Literally nothing about that makes sense for a video platform directed to kids. Here's me making sense of it: Attractive people can literally produced themselves dressed as crying dog terds, and others will still flock to it.
@@jonpaul6948 Tbh pretty true, I mean apps like TikTok make it hard for parents to even know enough to do shit in the first place, since kids literally at 8 are given every single newest iPhone. It just fuckin sucks really, you could be a parent and have 0 idea wtf your kids are doing on random apps if they hide it enough. Scares the shit outta me Edit: I mean this as a present day parenting issue btw.
Parents have kids just to have them and then don’t care for them. Parents that care about their kids are gone most of the time working to exhaustion to gather whatever peanuts they can. Our society neglects kids and their upbringing immensely. Which is what those in control want. Everyone becomes incompetent and those in power have their pick of the litter for whatever they want. The masses are in worst financial status than the peasants who revolted on their French rulers yet we stay inside content because we’re given just barely enough to get the taste of enjoyment
Nah, this is just kids on public education reaching adulthood. Unless it was put into rebuilding mental hospitals, no amount of extra tax dollars could’ve prevented this.
I still get all my content from YT and Reddit. I see some shit and send it to a friend but he watches TikTok and has already seen it usually. Fuck that. Im never going to the dark side. I sleep better at night because of it
They should look at some real footage and talk or listen to people who've been there. It amazes me how little respect these kids have, and how entitled they feel for just doing this. No more "maybe we've gone too far" apparently
Fr like why can’t it be like " you were sitting in the school lunchroom when ur crush starts looking at you" why does it have to be about the Holocaust???
Yeah like a lot of this shit is just romanticizing the holocaust of all things. And I see a bunch of tiktoks that romanticize abuse and kidnapping! Shit's weird man.
@@TongueLess Gender reveal parties are what couples expecting a baby do to reveal the sex of the baby, I think your a little confused on what a gender real party is lol.
It has a lot more to do with Disney's buddy relationship with the chinese government. Why do you think out all the Disney remakes the only one that failed to break a hundred million dollars was "Christopher Robin" and that's because China banned it. Most of those Disney remakes aren't for Americans.
It's cause he's so real about it, everyone seems fake to me rn. They'd rather join this Holocaust shit cuz its a trend and be famous then be the odd man out and say "tf is this shit?'
Wait what. Thats bad?! Like the first girl using the holocaust to talk about how pretty she is. Thats in poor taste? Too many parents don't screen the stupid stuff kids post on the internet. This is the type of stuff that can come up in job interviews.
Kids are being incentivized to sexualize themselves. And younger kids see these teens sexualizing themeselves and they do it to without understanding. Its so gross
Not only incentivizing mindless sexualization; but also whoring for attention at any cost, without any regard for ethics. In fact, the more unethical it is the more internet gold star stickers the fucker gets.
For me as a german i find these Holocaust Tik Toks highly offensive. Especially the one where the girl went to heaven, we never sayed that you get bread.
I mean, people have recorded themselves since cams existed. Now they're just in our pockets and the internet allows everyone with access to see it. A lot of these kids aren't being raised right. That's the issue
Back in my day we called it robotripping, ate around 15 coriciden cough and cold, and didn’t chase clout. Just a terrible, drowsy, dissociating, dangerous high!
I watched it with my hand over the faces so I could read the words. I can handle people being cringey in text (otherwise why would I be in the RU-vid comments section), but something about pairing it with a real person's face, who is emoting like they actually believed this was a good idea, and also knowing that they're mostly children who - in the best case scenario that they do mature and realize what a mistake this was - will grow up to regret this... It's too much cringe.
They are getting clout but also raising awereness for the atrocities made. When time passes, events stay more out of mind so it's fine IMO They are also made about of other human rights issues including American racism. While Wubby is going for the negatives, the platform is also a major drive for BLM and raising ,against awereness for injustice like breonna Tailor
João Cardoso it is good to raise awareness of course but these people are portraying it in the *wrong way* .any right minded person would not ‘act’ in a video as a victim of any horrific situation. you need to understand that this is extremely inappropriate and it upsets people who have actually experienced these things. for example the r*pe POV, it is good to raise awareness and add a trigger warning if you’re helping someone out, but it is not okay to make a point of view video to make it seem like you’re ‘woke’
Honestly I am somebody who is a survivor of rape and this made me sick. I cannot believe these stupid teenagers think that it's acceptable to put stuff like that on the internet. It was highly inaccurate and highly missed representing. I genuinely do not understand how Tik-Tok let this happen. Thank you for making this video onto making people aware of how sick some of the tiktoktrends are
@@DCGMatthew1 Yea but remember that this is directly going to China. They own information about millions of American kids while we know NOTHING about the Chinese citizens. Just give it a couple of decades, we are screwed as a country.
@@EDS2314 China would get your data anyway, like I said, companies are selling it to them, China doesn't need Tik Tok to get it. That's just the world now. Everyone wants your data.
@@DCGMatthew1 the biggest difference I noticed with them compared to any other app I have is that they had PAGES of codes and add ware and just unknown bs taking up about 400mb of my phones memory. .I searched all my files and they were the only ones doing that. Plus I find it sketchy if you want to message someone you HAVE to put in your phone number for some reason. Then once you do you cant remove it. Even if everyone tries to steal your information, I won't make it easy for them by just signing up for them to get get instant access. They're going to have to work for it like everyone else lol
Thing is kids were probably always this dumb but there wasn't a phone on their pocket nor internet with which to put it on the internet FOREVER. I used to fuck around with a camera as a kid but it never made it online. Also I used to break a lot of shit but I guess that's not related.
@@s4n714g000 Good point, you're right. Kids were always this dumb. Me included. We all were. Boy I'd sure hate to grow up in this period where damn near everything is recorded and thrown on the internet for everyone to see, as you've said, forever.
One of the things that kicks off tiktoks is the short video format. Ever since vine people just eat up short videos, even on formats like RU-vid the algorithm loves recommending short videos. Everyone wants their entertainment in a minute or less.
most people wont call a spade a spade. And its getting worse. When you remove shame from culture, you increase narcissism. Please show me where thats a good thing. These kids will be politicians, lawmakers and "victims" in the future. Good luck.
@thecasualtrollingpuma Getting canceled by stunning and brave feminists who think children sexualizing themselves is them being empowered and if you say it's not cool, you're "shaming" them.
The sad part is the shit these ppl post is so disrespectful of what really happened they're making a mockery of it for attention. I am loving these vids tho lmfao
They're literally making fun of things like the Holocaust, rape, 9/11 and school shootings for attention on the internet. It makes me so angry and so disgusted. They're not little children, they should know better.
@@gabrielpetersen8528 then is hate speech okay? By your logic, we can just ignore it and it'll be fine, right? This isn't a matter of opinion on whether content is good or not. What these TikTokers are doing is unquestionably wrong. Are you saying we should not say something about it? You're right, no one forced me to watch this content, but I happened to come across it. I can just ignore it and move on with my day, but what kind of person would that make me? Even if anti-semitism doesn't affect you, if you know it's out there in the world you should speak up against it, right? If I know this content exists I need to say something about it. It's not right.
One big thing to note too is that unless you're a small fourth grader with a vivid imagination, there's no suspension of disbelief. Movies can deal with these heavy topics and you can feel the intensity or drama they are trying to portray. But when it's readily apparent that it's just a teenager filming with their phone pretending to get raped in their room you can't help but think "why the hell would they make this?"
I don't even know who this content is for. What human being would ever want to witness a POV rape scene? Usually the point of POV shots is to make the audience feel like they are the ones experiencing or committing whatever is being filmed. In this scenario, it makes no sense. You either get to experience being raped or you get to feel like you are the one committing rape. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BE IN EITHER POSITION? WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
I'm on a binge of your videos as I've only found your channel today through Cr1tikal's stream and my fucking God, I've never laughed more in a single day than I have today.
im not usually someone to ever get offended, but it really makes angry that these kids are basically exploiting children who experienced some of the worst lives imaginable so they can get some clout. maybe if they were a bit more accurate and actually seemed to say something informative but its just 'im a kid who died in the holocaust so like me'. I remember in school we had one of the last living holocaust survivors doing talks come to my school and he talked about seeing his best friend die when nazi's tried to scrub his freckles off with steel brushes. they were like 10. it is so fucked up the level of brutality man commits against man.
I know, it’s disgusting. They take an absolutely horrific event and make it all “cute” and shit. It’s just for the likes. So many people died, and they’re making a trend about it.
I remember we visited a small museum and a lady talked to my class about her experience and how hungry they were and how they found an apple and all took turns eating a bite. I also remember going to museum in dc and its so horrible what people do to others. The way they experimented in the way they did. People are the worst to people.
I remember in school reading about life as the kids in Nazi occupied areas, absolutely horrible stuff. Then these people wanna make a trend out of one of the peak moments of human cruelty? How’s this shit not making top headlines??
@@TearLilyd oh yea, the experiments were absolutely horrific. And then the guy who ran those experiments gets a job at Grünenthal where he got to make literal boat loads of cash selling meds he developed. To bad the drug then led to thousands of deformed babies, because the drug was thalidomide. Another horrific story that has its roots based firmly in the Nazi party and the horrific things done in the camps.
I once wrote to a prisoner, he was in for murder, he actually wrote back and told me everything about his life and how his daughter was going to college and then he wrote ‘I had a wife’. No prizes for guessing who he killed. Drew me a killer picture though!
I'm glad that Team Theorist gets sponsors but because of the nature of their content and their intellectual background I feel like it actually confirms the validity of the sponsor product.
“If your first personality traits are your age and how often you work out, you’re not for kids.” I involuntarily spat out my burrito laughing when you said this.
I feel incredibly bad for all the young girls posting that sort of stuff online.. once they're older they're going to realise how many paedophiles were watching them ://
As someone who was certified pedobait back in the early 2000’s, they’re going to being laying in bed at night getting cringe flashbacks when they’re 30 years old. Like at the time I thought I had so much power but I was actually super vulnerable. I get sick to my stomach how easily I was groomed.
The shooter one is especially bad, because if the swat team sees you holding the gun, they’re immediately going to assume you’re the shooter, and will mow you down. Not just dumb, but also dangerous.
i feel like this will be an era future paleontologist will look back on with complete confusion and amazement. its also really going to fuck with when they think we discovered the earth was round
What’s frustrating is that all these people on TikTok aren’t talking about issues as serious as the Holocaust, Columbine and straight up rape to bring awareness to it or create an informed depiction of it. They’re making a mockery out of the lives lost and wrecked in those situations for shock factor and high views on their account. That’s an abhorrent insult to people who have genuinely experienced these things in their lives. These users should be ashamed of themselves for placing more importance on fake brownie points on some app than on showing the basic decency of not making a mockery out of victims.
