Hey y’all my name is boby and I’m 70 yrs old trying to figure out how to get into police but I can’t I’ve tried for 30 yrs to be a police officer but it hasn’t worked so I’m watching these guys to be a police officer I wish I was in that moment but I’m not even though I’ve been training for yrs now but it still hasn’t worked unfortunately but it’s nice to talk to u guys wish me good for tomorrow because I’m trying again I hope I get in otherwise my training was for no reason

Hi Boby! Even if it doesn't work out, I want you to know that your training wasn't for no reason. Even when you don't use it for what it was intended for, you've still learned valuable skills and I hope you've enjoyed it. Don't feel like the things you've done are ever a waste. If you've enjoyed it, then it was valuable. Your granddaughter is very talented and I can clearly see that if she showed you or even gave you her art, she loves you very much. So often people have huge dreams, and are devastated if they cannot come true. But don't ever think that. It'd be fantastic if you got this opportunity, and it is amazing that you worked so hard. But if you don't get it, you're still a hero in the eyes of your little granddaughter. That is precious, hold on to that and never underestimate how important it is. All the best to you, Boby, and the very best of luck.
