I also have to soft box lights that I use for recording videos on either side of the ring light and I use a Cannon 70D camera If you're just starting out though, the ring light is more than enough to get a quality image and video. You don't have to have everything all at once! Lets remember that I started my youtube career with a hand held camera that sat on some empty plastic totes in my parents basement! lol! One Ring light is more than enough for excellent lighting.*

I have that light!!! It's huge but it's beautiful to work with. Portability is a factor that I deal with as well. I'll have to look into getting a smaller one to travel with. Thank you for the video!!

just so u know, Neewber is another brand that sells ring lights and I found that brand on ebay for like $45. comes with a travel bag just like the steller.

Thanks for the video. What about the Glamcor Light? You mentioned you used that light in a previous video for doing clients. I would think the Glamcor is more advanced because you can adjust the temperature and angle the lights "Bunny Ears" for betting lighting. I have the Glamcor Multimedia Extreme and I would love to see a comparison video of the units. Thanks again and I will stay tuned for updates.

You just can't compare them. Totally different results. its the shape of this like for video and photography thats key. The lighting is distributed evenly from top to bottom because its circular. However, at this time Id say that glamcor is probably easier to travel ON FLIGHTS with. Neither lights get too hot and both have adjustable dimmers. If I were an artist that stayed stationary and didn't have to pack and check the light and were using it both to see what I was doing and get a good image of my work, I'd go with a ring light.

hi, just wanted to know why you choose this brand over th diva light..does it come with the camera attachment as well as the phone attachment? .is the stand included in the one you have linked? is the stand able to hold the light and a dslr camera? can you attach any other stand if this one can not support the weight? the diffuser you have sold separate? what is its purpose? just wondering as the site is a lil vague about somethings..thanks for your video and your time in advance
