My theory is they thought hiding your rank info behind this 7/20 BS and hiding your rank in your profile is that they want you to forget about it. They think they're minimizing negativity but they're just going to get people quitting because they win 7 games and stay the same "rank".

@@DeertickDaniel Are you touched bro? Using a hypothetical in season 1 Ow2 comparing it to OW1? The only people that get updates every match are t500 now. If the only update you get after 7 games is nothing changed why would anyone want to have to grind another 7 wins to know where they are? What other game gives you ZERO feedback for that long?

@@transcendtient personally i prefer the 7 games thing, in ow1 you could win 7 games games in a row but that one loss stings 10x harder than it ever will in ow2. And comparing it to ow1 isnt bad since its there to solve a problem that was in ow1. And if the system wasnt there and you would be even more infuriated if you spent hours playing games and havent moved at all.

The icons for rank have little notches for the different levels. So the plain logo, then notches on the bottom, then the sides get added and the. 2 spikes on the top for the top level.
