Can’t lie Miss Lauryn Lill inspired me as well. I remember playing and singing every song on The Miseducation album. Lost Ones and To Zion are my favorite. Am looking forward to more music but if she doesn’t put out more, it’s OK. She’s done a whole lot more pulling at the heart strings with that 1 album than most artists take an entire career to accomplish.
if only she treated her live shows like her studio sessions. Seen her live multiple times..all times late, rushed her set, and she's never performed Miseducation in its original form, It's always a a live band variation where the instrumentation is vastly different from the original
It’s cause she lost the rights to play the music because of unfair treatment and money to the people that actually wrote the music ! Look up Robert glaspers rant about her .. I went to go to see her twice and she didn’t show up lol
@blutori these are the reasons she doesn't make music. You people watched the video and she ot was stated that she arranged and wrote a lot of ot herself. A lot of those people who sued her didn't realize the album would do those numbers. When they realized how much money the album garnished they came back and sued her for more money. I wouldn't say she arranged the whole album but to say she didn't contribute anything to her own album is crazy...
I've seen her live multiple times. The last one in particular is one of the greatest shows I've ever been to, and I've seen many of the greats live, including Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Al Green, Prince, Bobby Womack, Teena Marie, just to name a few.
I was an ignorant shallow aspiring gangsta rapper ego was aversed to anything but slick bars and witty wordplay, but listening to miseducation , to my surprise deeply moved me and opened me up to soulful quality music. I loved every song with Sweetest thing being my favorite. I have deep respect for miss hill and wish her all the best. Her verse on Nas album is testament to her greatness, she still got it, pipes and bars
They try to take away the fact that create this album. Thats probably the most disappointing thing. She didn’t wrote the sheet music but she arranged it and wrote her own lyrics. I think she’s a genius.

I had a huge respect for this woman because of Fugees and this great record. But lately, I'm sooooo mad at her ! Lauryn has no respect for her fans and she bragged about it on a Nas song. People think that she is a wisdom icon, ever her thinks she's on saving mission for humanity. But all she said so fare are average thoughts about life in general. This album was not made by herself alone. This life masterpiece was a group effort...with some royalty issues apparently, but everything is ok, now ! Hell yeah, I'm mad, because even if you don't need to be a slave to your fans, you have to respect them. She doesn't !
