Been looking to buy some shorts for summer but it’s always a hit & miss especially if you buy online , never payed attention to the inseam , just the waist size & length size. This was really helpful.

It’s definitely annoying when a brand doesn’t include the inseam information. I am a woman with long legs and I’m looking for shorts that hit mid thigh-many women’s shorts are too short for my personal preference. Your video was informative and easy to understand! I am glad I clicked, I thought maybe this video would be geared towards males, but I was thankfully wrong. New sub!

My All Time Fav. Shorts are the Nike Alumni Sweat shorts in that classic grey colorway with the white Nike Logo and Nike Check.. I'm usually a 2xl in shorts but I went with XLT because I need my shorts over my knees.. Awsome Vid Bro!

If the inseam is pretty standard even as far as from S to XL, then wouldn't the outseam be more important if it's which length suits you best? Some shorts might have a drop-crotch, but sometimes they won't even mention it as such, so the inseam could be misleading.

I have the Nike Woven shorts. I love them! As a shorty guy with bigger legs i went up a size ( from a S or a M ), they fit me, imo, perfect. Theyre just above the knee, instead of mid thigh, and theyre wide at the opening. Theyre perfect summer time shorts

I would say for me 2 inches above the knee is as short as I would go or just above the knee. I also like knee length shorts and 3 quarter lengths. For me stone coloured shorts look better either above the knee or close to the knee but navy blue shorts or khaki ( green/brown ) shorts I prefer either just below the knee or mid knee but it can be hard to find those type of shorts in a longer length even on EBay. I wish there were more videos like this instead of the all those other videos of people dictating how long or how short shorts should be. The right answer is wear whatever makes you feel more comfortable.

Thanks for this! I’m 5’4 and a girl, so finding the right size of basketball shorts is always frustrating! Even if I go with a small, the inseam or leg openings are usually way too big. Really sucks they don’t sell basketball shorts (specifically nba) in women’s sizes!
