Diamond was the star of this brilliant heart-wrenching storyline, so naturally and convincingly acted! She couldn't even truly mourn her losses. Uche portrayed her role exceptionally well too, as it's easy to say we won't react that way when the reality is that we don't know how we'll react/act..and probably worse in most cases. By far my most favourite of Ruth's work!!! Absolutely fantastic! 👏👏👏

I love the part that she cried and fell on the ground with the blanket 😭😭😭 ..It reminded me of the pain I went through when my dad died and I couldn't see his corpse because his family couldn't wait for the ban on lockdown to be lifted so we could travel to Akropong for the burial... They buried him without any of his children and even my mom seeing him to say goodbye 💔😪😢😭😭😭😭😭😭 It's about time we cared for the feelings of others before taking decisions.. Mum Uche and Diamond thanks so much for making me have second thoughts about forgiving my dad's family for what they did to us. You made it so real and I got healed after the tears I shed. I can relate this your story, my dad's family didn't let us see my dad's grave, we didn't even know where he was buried, they forcefully took him away during the burial ceremony🤧.
Am very sorry for your loss @Janet. I don't think they were being malicious though. The lock down situation was not their making. I Thank God you have found healing. I lost my mum too & it takes time to process the loss of a parent. People say you will get over it with time but that's not true. You can't get over it. You just learn to live with the loss. At first there is plenty of tears 😭 & emotion. It's like a raw wound you don't want to touch. But with time, as you begin to heal, you find yourself talking about about it without the tears. It's a journey of healing. These days we even make jokes & laugh about our mum 😁 This is how I know we have healed.

Before I started seeing this movie, I went through the comment section and people where saying, you are definitely going to cry watching this movie but I didn't believe that because I hardly cry over a movie, but this one gut me at the end. I love it❤️
Haven't cried this hard over a movie in a very long time. The story is so touching and real. One could literally feel Diamond and Diane's pain in the movie. The dilemma and despair of coming to terms with embracing the offshot of betrayal and heart-piercing secret all packaged in young Diamond was really emotions and fustration in pictures. The actors interpreted their roles well. Everyone involved in this movie really did a great job. This is the height of it. Ruth Kadiri is a great story writer. I love your ability to sketch the harsh reality of life on paper and most of all in pictures. The sky is ur springboard. I admire ur creativity engrafted in reality of life. Thank u for making me cry... My eyes are red and almost aching. Love what u do. Keep the fire burning.

The part that Uche cried "You can't die on me. How dare you die on me' .. really got me teary. Hmmm may God grant us the gift of forgiveness. Diamond's last write up in her diary especially about her wish before her birthday, got me as well. Ruth, I can't love your storylines less. Kudos🥰

I cried….we should be careful of our actions, Rachel knew very well that Peter had a wife yet she accepted to be his baby mama. Diamond an innocent girl suffered because of the path her mother took. We should always have our children in mind when taking decisions

This story reminded me of the things I've lost. For months I have grieved but letting go and letting God take the pain and accept the grief brings so much fulfilment . This was a sad movie showing what betrayal in a relationship can cause. This movie gives some good advice and life learning lessons that can help those in this situation. It’s a mirror to see yourself. No matter all the hurt and pain we have to get pass that especially when a life that hasn’t committed any harm is innocent. God is able to help you heal but, most of all not maltreat an innocent victim. It was wonderful to see how a best friend will stick by you. The movie made me cry but, God open up that heart of pain and put love in it. The life of the innocent and the broken was mended. All the actors in this movie gave an excellent performance. Kudos to you Ruth and your cast for another amazing movie!!!
This movie reminds me of May Edochie (Not trying to troll anyone) but I feel our men should do better. Most times we do not know the trauma our actions and mistakes takes on our loved ones.... A single betrayal can ruin generations, most times it turns people to monsters cos not everyone have that grace to forgive genuinely. I've never commented on a movie but this one got me. I can't believe I cried feeling so much pain and started praying for myself to leave an upright life so my unborn children will not suffer from my mistakes as a results of how that one person I trusted with my life betrayed me and turned me into angry person, monster for that matter and people ended up seeing the sight of me which is not true. I know and I know so well that pain will go away some day and I can't wait to set them free from my heart so I can truly move on and be that happy soul God created me to be.... it's indeed a beautiful story that makes you reflect, pray with realizing and smile at the end. Aaaaah, my throat hurts!. I felt all the emotions to my bones. One of these days, sis Ruth is going to sweep award upon award for her stories. They are so poignant. If you close your eyes after watching, you can see a friend, a family member, someone you know or even yourself in her movies. Excellent job from all the actors.

I cried watching this movie over and over. I hope Diane truly accepted Diamond to be her own. Forgiveness itself is medicine for betrayal. We forgive not because the person deserves it, but for our inner peace. Unforgiving keeps as in bondage. Nice story and good cast. Angel is such a good teenage actress
I can literally feel her pain as if I was in her shoes... her acting is so on point... the things men put women thru & we have to always be the bigger person, so unfair... I felt her pain but the child is innocent in all the mix she shouldn't be paying for her mother's mistake/behavior... sometimes there is a blessing in that pain but we are too hurt & broken to see it👍Good job ruth... couldn't stop the tears from coming.

The thing that sets your production house from others is one thing. Your story telling. It reminds me of the old days sitting around a fire in the village being told a folk tale. Now i feel through your story telling that same spirit has moved to the current dimension: movies. Keep it up guys. Brilliant story and brilliant acting. The best movie i have watched in the past 2 years.. Wish they could have been a twist in the lies where somehow; maybe a medical emergency could gave revealing Angel turning out to be her really daughter . Fantastic movie.

So emotional I cried my eyes out when watching it. A great lesson learnt from this especially we the young ladies who have an affair with married man for money and later start having family for them(men) without thinking about the consequences ahead of them and putting their kids at risk.

I’ve read some of the comments here and truth be told there are no words left to express what a truly creative and emotionally wrenching movie this is, the comments here is a clear reflection of how exceptionally great this movie is; I didn’t expect the dad to die because the traditional movie would have had the dad wake up from his coma and the wife have an opportunity to direct her pain and anger onto him and then she forgives him. I’m so glad that didn’t happen and instead we got an ending that evoked tears and joy; this is creativity at its BEST, Job well done to the entire crew!

Oh! My Goodness. It took me 3 different days to watch this from start to finish. I am not a fan of watching movies. I can't even remember the last time I did. But seeing the recommendation on a Sister's status got me intrested. Mehnnnn! I cried like it wasn't just a movie or rather a fiction. This was so real. Ah! I give it to you all both from Director,The cast,the music and everything. Especially, Uche Jumbo,the Girl who played the Diamond role... Kai! You both are two much. This Movie should win an award. It deserves one. Nice one Ruth Kadiri. More Grace to do more. My time was really worth it
