I’m a 💯 w u on the Hummer/buzz bait for the best top water lure around!! Always my first choice for topwater. Live in northern Ohio and caught a 6.4 in late March last year on it. Which is crazy early for top water in these parts. Doesn’t always have to be spawning season or summer time for top water!!

I like the fact that you're a shore fisherman at heart.. cuz I moved here to the northern panhandle of Florida.. and have kinda been disappointed.. seems like you almost gotta have a boat to find a place to fish around here .. seems the shorelines on all the lakes I've found around me are surrounded by houses.. or swamps I'm scared I'm gonna get eaten by Gators... I am a 55 year old women been a grandmaw 3 years grew up fishing in ponds creek banks. Trying to stay active i would really like a baitcaster combo. Never did a lot of bass fishing but love watching googan squad fish. Keep up the good work. Out doors is what it is all about its being close to Gods creations.

I've got six farm ponds and a creek and a river I go to. Each farm pond is different on what works. The smallest pond a red shad curly tail worm or a wacky rig salamander or anything purple or red. Two of medium size ponds it's live bait only the other ponds they will go for just about anything long as it's specific colors. My favorite top water is a torpedo chrome or a green and black. I make my own deer hair jigs. The creek any little micro crank bait and rooster tails. The Caddo river depends on where your at I live at the start so smaller baits and he farther you go down the larger baits you use till you get to lake degray.

Lojo not sure if they have something like this in your area but where I’m from they have summer programs for kids that you can send your kids to instead of daycare/babysitters and ever so often you see them at the local lakes fishing. Maybe you can donate the extra rods to something like that or even a boys home/ orphanage, either way awesome vid like always 💯💯💯

So I'm from up North and a lot of the ponds that I fish are very overly fished and are really shallow I'll say about 5ft max and are really grassy. Is there any tips you can give me to help my fishing experience in conditions like that?

I still don't get why people hate in googan cuz today on bass forecast it said the bite was 3.2 out of 10 and I threw the kraken craw and bandito bug on Texas rig and caught tons of bass no big ones but lot of bass the only flaw I have sometimes but not always is that sometimes the pincher falls off but that's expected cuz they are thin

I love the buzz bait in the morning but my 2@3 chatterbait and a Texas rig with a craw still learning how to use the crank and the jerk bait don’t have the set up for it yet

I liked the mini Bumper from the beginning. Probably the best amount of flash and noise.

I'll tell you lojo that all those ponds do not get fished enough I think. I fish there pretty often, but just not at that pond much and you're almost guaranteed one fish a day. The one on the very far other end you can catch about anything on a rooster tail spinner bait😅don't know why but it just works.

Still cold water here, but jerk baits and cranks are starting to work pretty good. Down size when it's still cold gets more bites
