I’m from jersey and ppl been getting robbed since 8 ball jackets ain’t no conspiracy and ain’t nothing new if you go to the hood flossin dudes will rob you.
Dirty Jersey is what we were always labeled anything was bound to pop off even in broad daylight Camden during the 90's onto the early 2000's sheesh was a major bloodbath and then some my best friend and his older brother were brutally murdered back in 92' which happened to be a retaliation via to a murder my best friend's brother committed somehow them cats caught up with my friend's brother and did him mad bloody they beat him, Stabbed him over 10 times, Shot him in the head and set him on fire afterwards, My best friend somehow they caught him about 4 months after his brother getting killed and deliberately beat him real bad and took him to somebody's backyard tossed him in there pool where he drowned to death
When you see LA natives and OG’s say that they wouldn’t even go to that Roscoe’s you know it’s dangerous there and to show up with all your jewelry on not really surprising how this turned out.
All it takes is for the wrong person to see you on the wrong day at the right moment, he could’ve been there 2 hours earlier than he was and he may have been good, shit can happen to you anywhere at anytime
Nah bro someone in that restaurant seen him walking in and called the wolves...hell probably someone that worked there called the wolves like..yo y'all come get this food dude in here slipping
Bro I think like this all the time after getting in a accident if I was minutes early or later that would’ve been somebody else car getting smacked lol
MC Eiht is 100% correct. We the exact same age, and same month. I grew up in the hood, but live a life of luxury for many years now. I would never endanger myself by going to unsafe environments when there's many other safer options.
I am born and raised in Watts, and when you get to that part of L.A., and if you don't live there, you get in and out. My mom worked at the Pep Boys a 1/2 a block away, and I always had her wait inside the store when I picked her up. The original Roscoe's is in Hollywood, Sunset and Gower.
@@jaxjr121 You'll be fine. You will 3-4 miles west of that area, and they have security contracts with police from all the surrounding cities. The only incident that they've had was after the Rams V 49er playoff game. I think the guy got beatup in the parking lot and died. As it was reported, HE started the fight with Rams fans, and woundup getting the worst of it. I drive sprinters and minibuses and worked playoffs, the Superbowl, and several other events and visits. It's safe. One tip: The parking situation is good getting in, but hell getting out. There are many shuttle services that mainly do airport work, but I heard the parking structures to the west do stadium events also. Look into doing that.
You should not be idolizing these guys bro. They are character lessons for us to learn from. He is an actor at best. You should be a FAN of your father.
@@anzwarthegreat9489 Idolizing is a stretch. I’m a fan of a few of his songs and movies. He always came across as authentic and the type of growth he talks about in his interviews is no surprise. He’s using his position as a guest to spread the right message and for that I salute him. Lastly, who idolize is my choice. I don’t need any help fam.
Im from Philly. Born and raised but ive been to LA several times. Been to all the Roscoes. Thats by far the worst one. Im not a celeb nor rich and i didnt feel safe there. Ironically PNB from my neighborhood in Philly
Ona counta uva G ain't in em'.......wack ass actor , movie script Killa, foo dontcha kno........ yup I lived thru the 90 my damn self ....✌🏼 Stay uppers G
Really doesn't matter who you are, what you have on, or where you are. The point is to always keep your head on a swivel and be able to protect yourself and those you care about that's around you because shit happens everywhere to anybody.
A lot safer in Greenwich Connecticut than in the south bx bro .. people pay good money so they don't have to walk around on guard all the time...when I'm in the hood I'm a whole different person but when I'm back up in the suburbs walking to the all night rite aid I'm not worried about a damn thing...
@@vibezlogistics7453 I can see both sides. I live in a somewhat safe neighborhood, but I still am armed when I go walking at night and don’t carry anything of value on me.
really?doesn't matter what you have or where you are?? looking at any city statistics it really matters....and statistics is racist...becouse stats shows that any place that has lesser amount of black peoples living..more safer
@@enjoylife1239 You should think before you speak brother. Crime happens everywhere! Recently rich people in nice communities are getting robbed. Where have you been? Just because you're broke doesn't mean people wont rob or kill you. Ask niggaz in NY, LA etc. Anyone can be targeted for any reason anywhere. I live in a nice community and I wear designer and wear diamonds but I'm never too naive to believe I don't need to carry the blick. Wise up so you won't be a victim. Peace to you and yours my brother.
@@vibezlogistics7453 You do know real criminals target nice areas right? I know I'm from the streets. You are never safe anywhere on Earth that's why you should protect yourself at all times. Don't make the news being naive. Peace to you and yours brother
@@Bereal711 it's deeper in the hood than the lax loc, closer to compton so like eiht alluded to move smarter. go to west hollywood if you wanna bling it out. but honestly tho bangin can happen anywhere in LA...
AOD. You doing your thing with these interviews bruh. It's like bringing all our childhood musician artists into our home in real life so we can see and hear their stories. Real Talk. Salute bruh.
This Brotha is special. I'm telling you, his wisdom, how he thinks before he speaks... It's not animated or trying to hard. Nothing But absolute respect 💯
Yeah they was wrong just like he was wrong flexing every song his hit song is "selfish" where he says "he is like a demon" but yeah go get your tissues, then he go to the hood around poor folks and enjoy a nice meal around the lower class to make him feel real again lmao stop it your a cornball. Our country is in how many wars and your worried about a self proclaimed selfish demon.
I think everyone knows it was wrong. You guys get it confused, because you never had a tough choice. He unfortunately put himself in a dangerous situation. Doesn’t mean someone was morally justified but there are certain things YOU can control, as opposed to going into a situation expecting the jack boys and people who don’t give af about nothing to give you a pass. If we’re talking about morals, right/wrong… the right thing to do is YOU make sure YOU are good, not leave it up to unknown forces to decide if you gonna be good
That’s obvious…that the dude was more than just wrong. It’s also obvious that people are getting robbed and killed more than ever now. Especially because technology makes it easier to find victims. I can’t imagine dangling raw meat over a lions head and expecting him not to bite. I don’t know why he was killed…whether it was intentional or robbery but you won’t catch me out and about when I know it’s hot in these streets. Not without security…it’s not his fault but I wished we valued the importance of making sure we do everything to stay alive like we do flossing to make a point. I would’ve had that shit delivered to me.
@@gems8167 how the hell do you get hear two words a person said and all of a sudden you got the whole entire personality figured out to the point where they deserve to get shot and killed. Nigga shut up. Flexing in your songs is not a crime you got it right to make a song about whatever you want.
Stay focused don't deflect. We talking about west coast pookies. That chain he took hot as coal and might not be a legit one. Stupid. Plus killed a man in broad daylight. Smh. High risk no reward.
Nothing but clowns in Los Angeles this happens far to often! Those crude oil drinking crack babies can stop doing dumb shit. They don't hit up the white lady jogging through east side or kill the Mexicans NOPE they find another black man and destroy his family fucking sad.. And they such busters that they not even strong enough to stop the behavior. Definition of clowns stuck in the 80s!
I feel like PNB went to that Roscoe's in south Central intentionally to try and make a statement that he could just pull up wherever he wanted in L.A. , like he got it like that . To floss. A quick Google map search would've shown him all the other locations .
@SP I get your point but you have to be aware of your surroundings. That's a very grimy area and it doesn't even look safe there. People get shot and killed over there often
I’m thinking maybe the gps just took him to the nearest Roscoes from where him and his girl were staying. I ended up at that Roscoes over the summer by mistake! Mind you, I’m a native New Yorker (Harlem to be specific). Now, I’ve been to other Roscoes in LA (during different visits) but I was always with people from the area. I didn’t even realize that this area was a ‘no go’ until I pulled up. I keep thinking back like damn. I was alone. I definitely could’ve gotten approached just because of the car I was driving. Sad situation all around man.
I doubt he was staying in that area. Most likely he probably had Airbnb in Hollywood hills , then he could had just went to the one in Hollywood. But again , you never know what people thinking. That was an suicidal mission
I’ll go anywhere in America then gang bangers don’t own them streets. I’ll take a trip there one day to go get sum chicken idgaf about a dumb ahhh banger . He gone get hit with one
He had just finished meeting with some business partners not to far from that location. Apparently he was working on a new strain and they had just finished up. Unfortunately he got directed to that specific location without knowing the politics of that area.
People come from out of town and see how pretty LA looks and they don't realize when they are in the hood. The hood houses in LA look better then some suburban areas in the Midwest ,South and East Coast.
Yeah right, tell me what suburban area has every house with thick ass bars on the windows and doors, nothing but liquor stores and churches and beat up olds ass Frankenstein cars with mismatching panels and colors. That area literally looks like a GTA server.
He's like the 4th person from LA with gang backgrounds who said that Rosco's wasn't a place to be at with jewelery and not aware of surroundings... Either he was to cocky r thought it couldn't happen to him but real street dude's don't care if it's day r night it's on sight
Eiht one of the realest to ever do it, period. From the microphone to the streets to the interviews, nobody feeds the unfiltered street truth like Eiht. Salute for getting him on.
@@teezyt3052 plus, the video of his passing is sad bro (I haven’t seen it) so maybe this person’s comment was motivated from that. Idk, me personally I don’t say it for clout tho
I didn't knw it was THAT early!!! Yeah, I'm starting to lean towards him being a very egocentric person that just didn't think anything would ever happen to him and or this was revenge and he did someone wrong and refused to make right on it so the situation manifested the way that it did, unfortunately
I said the same damn thing. There are 7 roscoe locations in the LA area with most of them in different hoods. These out of town rappers that come to LA thinking that I'm the hood/ghetto/trap/trenches etc in other cities around the country think that they can move around freely without caution and you see now what happened pnb flexing your wealth around regardless whether his girl posted their location on IG or not thinking it was harmless
It’s not just an out of town vs LA thing, rappers getting robbed/killed in other areas all over. It’s this trend in rap that I order to be seen as tough or real you need to be able to go yo any hood… and as Dbaby say “with no security”
@@tbs7438 true that, the rap game is the only music genre that most of it's artists gotta flex their ice around wherever they go. Some R&B artists do it too but rappers are number one doing it. I've never seen no rock artists with no jewelry on at all

The HOOD Roscoe’s is exactly where he should’ve felt safe and comfortable at. And it’s The HOODS duty to protect our OWN no matter what state they from!! It’s time to make some changes in the way we view and treat each other.. The hood is the hood no matter which hood you from we should all feel comfortable in the hood bc we are all BROTHERS!!! 🎯
Eric Bennett ain't that sad? Gangs and thugs looking to make a profit off of a location were you, your family, friends and love ones just wanna go and eat and enjoy each other's company, but you can't because low life individuals wanna pop up and kill and steal what people have worked for. 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤔ignorance BEYOND comprehension 🙄
it's not the spot specifically.. like MC Eiht said, it's the people that live in the area that are "thirsty" for trouble, & the whole LA isn't like that, it's just REAAAAL grimey MF's out here that don't give AF at all.
Thats the whole point I been screamin. Like yea he technically wuz trippin goin to that spot. And wearing his jewelry. But it should never be that serious. Niggas is bums. No hustle bout themselves. No work ethic. Literally will trade ur life for a piece of jewelry that they mite get 10 Gs for if they're lucky. That ain't even no money foreal. Shi is pathetic
The Inglewood Roscoe's is closest to the airport Art, Not Main, and Manchester... I'm Born and Raised in Los Angeles. I grew up down the street from where P was killed
I didn’t know anything about that kid until he lost his life. I looked up videos of him and saw him throwing up gang signs, FaceTime dissing guys, and laughing like that life is a joke. He clearly wasn’t about that life. He treated it like it was a game and unfortunately it cost him his life. I think he went there with all that jewelry on to prove a point that he could go wherever and be safe like he’s built like that. We all see the outcome.
Exactly. He got ran down on in LA before. He went THERE to try and prove a point. Unfortunately the streets aren't the internet.. RIP bro. Live your life, make your money, and stay out the way
@@teezyt3052 LA ain't the worst my guy. Shit goes down hard in any predominant black neighborhoods... I was in LA back in February. Just came chilled went to various hoods but I wasn't acting flashy or wearing the wrong colors and I did my homework. I was at Lemeirt Park, visited the memorial in Nipsey's Neighborhood, Watts, Inglewood etc. Rode the bus all over the city and drovein my rental. People gotta stop going to other cities flashing and flexing. I definitely went to the hood Roscoes and was down the way by Randy's Donuts etc. If you go to areas you don't know STAY LOW!!
@@jumpman366 You don't know who I am that's the point. I don't advertise what I got or who I am but trust me I got everything I need and want. You missed the whole fucking point! He got shot and killed for not following the laws of power. You should read them sometime. Not everyone who's successful need to tell the world they are.
I've said the before, and I'll say it again: Rapper gotta stop trying to act like they are still in the same place as they were before they made it. They are rich celebrities, they have to move like it. They want to drive around a $100k car with $1 mill jewelry on? Don't go to a bar, or a restaurant, or a club in the hood or near the hood or invite hood people (Pop Smoke) to your private party. They are no longer on the same class level. You got broke thieves, gangsters, and thugs sticking up gas stations, and you want to flaunt your money around them? I know it is a thing rappers do... to stay "street" and relatable.. but it really isn't reality.

That was the first Roscoes. Don’t go to either Roscoes on Manchester; one is for the Crips and one is for the bloods. Gower St in Hollywood or Pico in Mid city.
MC eiht is a west coast Legend salute to you. He is an official ambassador out here. Pnb was a free soul. When your a free soul you travel everywhere. Even nipsey rode public transportation and hung with YG in a blood neighborhood. The problem is as you become more blessed and gain success, the hood begins to plot on you as a target 🎯. You are now the homie that is now a meal. They was going to jack him anyway, he just made it easy by coming to the hood and shinning brightly and posting public locations.
I'm from The Bronx,GUNHILL RD firstly respect to LA,Jersey,Philly and all real G's everywhere. At this point how is anyone still trying to figure this out? Sad that the young hommie got hit up but he made some deadly stupid mistakes. You NEVER start cooking beef away from home and on unknown territory and you ALWAYS have the Ooh-Ahh with a full clip and one in the chamber. Even if he did have it on him it wouldn't have mattered in that situation,M.O.P. made a whole song about this exact thing.."Ante Up"..there's certain places you just don't go unless you're prepared for war..and some places you just don't go at all.
In one interview PNB Rock said he makes a point to hang out the hood of every city and state he goes to. I hope whatever reason he had for doing that was worth it, smh. I thought PNB would've learned from Young Dolph getting murdered at a hood restaurant.
The young talking about flexing & money, but the older talks about WISDOM! Which one is more valuable, your life or your material possessions?🤔 Marinate on that!💥💯

A better question is... *Why does a notorious spot in a city NOT get "cleaned up" by the authorities?* The rot of a city is allowed if it only negatively affects the lives of the "low class" people. *If a spot in my city has a reputation for crime and violence... that business gets shutdown!*
He told us and *himself* the warning signs like a week or two prior in that Akademiks interview. He literally said he had a couple of situations where felt he was about to get robbed *in Cali* . *He bragged that he proved to the supposed robbers that he was knowing & wasn't a easy target. If folks was on him the way he described then he was slippin thinking they wasn't watching his every move. INCLUDING that interview. No way I would've been caught out there afterwards without security or AT LEAST a 🔫. You can speak good & bad into existence* .
From what I hear about LA its very deceptive in the optics. LA in general is very appealing to the eye . The "hood" doesn't have that gritty look that u expect.
That's because decades ago, the hood used to be the suburbs. White folks moved out, once Black people & immigrants started moving in. As such, the landscaping is still there, but the environment is drastically different. Inner city LA is the ghetto.
THE ROSCOE’S CLOSEST TO LAX IS THE ONE IN WEST INGLEWOOD ON OAK AND MANCHESTER….HE MIGHT HAVE MISTAKEN THAT ONE FOR THE ONE ON MANCHESTER AND MAIN WHICH IS EAST OF THE 110 BUT THEY BOTH ON MANCHESTER AND THAT MIGHT HAVE GOT HIM CONFUSED ON LOCATION
Them people not from LA need to stay out of Roscoe’s in the hood areas. Best to go to Roscoe’s across the street from Disneyland in Anaheim. (Stay in the tourist areas)
PNB had noooooo business at that Roscoe's, that side of the city is grimey af, one of the most active parts of the city. Idk what he was tryna prove, but it cost him his life smh
This younger generation think they cant be touched. Dont ever go to different hood spots if you’re an outsider ESPECIALLY IF you are out flaunting your shiny items.
I was at that roscoe's when I visited Los Angeles in July 2021. The food was excellent. Lol a little pricey, yet the food was excellent. I think people could tell I wasn't from there, I was aware of my surroundings, but I didn't feel uneasy being there. The security and the staff was friendly also. It's so tragic PNB Rock lost his his life over nothing just because of what he had on. It's also tragic a father told his son to go kill him over nothing.
For anyone it’s best bet aware of your surroundings even if you’re not from there but to respect where you’re at. Another thing is to not share your location unless you’ve left that aware. Giving anyone the drop could be dangerous
Nah he was on the eastside main and Manchester the 1 that’s closer too lax is literally 3min frm lax! If he wanted too go too closer one it’s one in Inglewood on machester and 1 on the eastside on main and Manchester.
