I’ve had a copy since it came out in 2020, fucked around in the open world so much but I never got past chapter 4 but this last time when I set myself to finish it man was I questioning what to do with my time now that I can’t play it 😩
A game I never expected to enjoy and thought to be overrated. I can say after my first playtrhough of the game I did find it the way I thought on how I would feel about it because first of, I didn't care about the spoiler warnings on yt so I expected every big moment. Never played through the epilouge and left the game. And then after some time I went back replayed it because of mods, installed mods that makes it more realistic nothing too over the top. And so this time a 2nd playthrough I took my time and didn't rush, just went out exploring and doing anything I want, and I didn't find it boring. I became obsessed with it, started liking Arthur and the gang till eventually I just fell in love with the game. That's pretty much how the red dead games just became one of my favorite games of all time.
This is my all time favorite game. I have hundreds of hours into this game over the years. No matter what new games come out, I’m always drawn to come back to this game.
Your story is a little like mine. Didn’t get into cowboy stories in general. Didn’t get into the first one; then got ill and played the second while recuperating and a little loopy and with a lingering Covid cough. Struggled with it at the beginning-but I kept going and I am so glad I did. I’m even a fan of the old Gunsmoke tv show now…
I loved that game when I played it. Even though I played with mouse and keyboard and it was clearly made with a controller in mind. And I normally get bored with realistic games (as in not fantasy/sci-fi).
Exiled you make the best video I really enjoyed your video, you know their is a lot of good indie games and double AA games for example: risk of rain2, deep galactic rock and stone, vermintide 2, gunfire reborn, ultrakill, sentry, darktide, roboquest, boltgun, velum, lethal company and ragugaki. If your interested you might these games, but amazing video.
Imagine how I felt after playing it for the 1st time back in 2021.. I Still play it till this day and I'm on my 6th playthrough.. Yes, SIXTH!! This masterpiece damn near ruined open world gaming for me. If the world isn't half as immersive as RDR2, it's not worth exploring. I only discovered the zombie swamp people on my 3rd playthrough as John and was completely stunned still at the turn of events. Hell, just hunting and fishing all day and ending off with a good meal and a few beers, hot bath and bed is all I do sometimes because the game is That immersive. And, yeah.. The scenery is enough to set up camp atop a mountain, take in the view and read through Arthur's journal.
she's an old women who showed no proper threat. A seasoned criminal and murderer could have just disarmed her instead of killing the women when he didn't even know what she was saying. She could have been saying "if you tell anyone i'll kill you" or something like that. He also lied to arthur about his reasoning which shows it wasn't a trust worthy reason.
Would be better if u cant pay ur bounty and if they make the lawman actions more realistic like example if i rob the train kill everyone on the train it should take them few minutes to arrive on the scenes and ur character should not be identified if with mask for few minutes of shootout and if i get out of the area b4 lawman arrived i should get away with it without bounty the lawman arrival time should be base from its closest town location to the crime location to make it more realistic if rockstar would be able to manage that in rdr3 it would be awesome that's the only bs i noticed in rdr2 but overall its amazing
i feel like that idea would work for gta 6 but not rd3 the red dead map is too open (what i mean by that is the cities are far apart i enjoy how open it is it just doesn’t work for your idea
You need to stop every game you’re playing and play RDR1 and Undead Nightmare. You’ll find that what RDR2 lacks, RDR1 weirdly makes up for. And vice versa
the thing is, I don't really feel rdr2 lacks much. I also know what happens in the first game and find that in a way it makes the ending of the second slightly worse. I'll be playing it at some point but right now got to much on and to many other games to play.
