Could of swear I had you in one of my lobbies and we were double Vaseraga slam dunking the boss the whole time in perfect sync. I wanted to clip that shit because it was epic AF looking. Could be wrong had same colors idk what your in game name is.
I'm a mid player with only 150 hrs playtime, I main IO and Charlotta My Io dps at proto bahamut ot pyet-a is usually 12m-17m My Charlotta 11m-14m, I usually get MVP whenever Im Io, Vaseraga or other dps couldn't compete, the only ones is either Eugen, Cagliostro or Ferry But there is one boss that no matter what Vaseraga shines and always MVP, it's the Gallanza and maglielle fight The vaseraga face tanks, never dies, just stand there doing things. He always gets 11m-12m score as MVP
Love the video! I have questions: why steady focus if we get immunity on the gauge / why crit on the overmastery if lucky charge sets you on 100%+crit on charges? Do you think it is a lot of dps loss on normal attacks while you are building combos? Do you really feel like cascade/drain is working fine with Vaseraga? Don't you rather go with a stun stone on weapon with some other useful skills? I know that it is too many questions and surely most of the answers will be "i do not have anything better yet", I am curious in knowing your opinion tho. Great vid :)
Steady focus is there for those situations where I don't have immortal pain active just to get some extra defense. I do have lucky charge but still having high CRIT chance is important otherwise ur sba will not be as strong and you will not hit that 10 mil damage with the final hit of full burst. Cascade can never go wrong. Whatever can get the cool down even faster u take it. Drain can be replaced if u want to but I like to leave it on just in case. I am looking to add in firm stance instead so I can stand and fight while those bosses have their tornadoes up.
Admittedly I didn't watch any of the showcase outside of the Managarmar, but did you know that you can animation skip the charge attack w/ great scythe grynoth? This would result in a LOT more dmg than you were doing in that fight. Very similar to Percival but with immunity to death lol. Sorry if it was mentioned and I didn't make it far enough in the video to see it
no it wouldn't thats a ton less damage than xxyy each of the double hit charge attacks hit for 3-4 mil while the single charge attack for a cancel does 1.6mil so no it isn't more damage if you watch any vaseraga solo or speed run they always use double cancels into the double hit charge attacks
There is no need to animation cancel. You won't pull off more than one set of the charged attacks before the boss goes halfway across the screen. Might as well get those extra 2 or 3 hits in instead of animation cancelling
I will propably build him when have time because playing Zeta main from start and now building my other characters from main comp Ferry,Caligostro and Naymara. Vaseraga is for now only male character I like his desin and character. Prefer japanase voice with Kenpachi VA from Bleach but his english voice sound great too
Btw quick charge doesn't do much on Vase it only speed ur charge by 0.35 sec or something like that, i like to go more tanky on him so i throw Enmity Tyranyy for hitting dmg cap and Steel Nerves Garrison Steady focus Provoke so i can eat all the hits from the bosses
it takes a whole second off so no it actually does do something and in most scenarios you're able to get an extra combo out you normally wouldn't you 1000% want to run quick charge.
@@etomu LLHH is the only proper way to play. All of his final slashes (LLLHH,GSG,battelion,link attack) share the same cap as LLHH. Undying/Umbral can have uses here and there but you should be running less is more with 1/0 Skills and full orange to get as much dmg from your first slash (that one is pretty hard to cap). Obviously you should also be dodge canceling the L's. For movememnt the L H L HH combo is also neat since it goes into the double slash combo.
@@brunch. Nope, literally nothing changed for vaseraga in the last patch. At most you can say that some skills have value in luci, doesn't change his caps or less is more value. I have no clue why yall just be lying lmao
