Also, how do I better justify my decisions that relate to UX laws/principles to bosses/managers who have not much knowledge about UX/Design and are convinced that what I'm trying to tell them doesn't make sense to them?

You need to know how to translate UX metrics into business metrics. A lot of bosses don't care about usability unless it costs them money. I'll make a video about that too. It's a good question.
