The babies are adorable! I know this isn't a very original comment, just trying to help the algorithm for JW. And it is the truth, lol!

Bo is never far from the nursing mothers and their infants. I feel so sorry for Flöffi. I wonder if she'll ever get to raise a baby without having it kidnapped and killed. Thank God Fözzi and Pepper are aggressive enough to protect their infants. It's too bad both Dorothy and Bo can't be relocated far away.

As much as I enjoy all these videos, any videos featuring lowinas troop are difficult to watch. Human interference has absolutely devastated this family and unfortunately I'm afraid it won't end. It's heart breaking and infuriating that someone feels that it's their right or in any kind of best interest to alter the course of life for any living being, especially in such a permanent fashion. Seeing fozzi sticking with pepper is encouraging, though. Pepper has it figured out and has successfully raised babies. A fine example for a mother that has had to suffer through no real fault of her own, for being close to her family.

I can see Fozzi has the guts to put Bo in her place. However, Bo is still too close for my taste. I'd sleep with one eye open!

So many tattoos 😞 How sad they are. The longing in their eyes is heartbreaking.

The rank goes like this - Lowina, Fozzi, Floffi, Pepper and then Bo. The youngest female is always higher ranking the sister above her. I knew Fozzi was going to have to pull rank to stop Bo and it looks like she will also have to do the same thing with Floffi too unfortunately. I'm just glad Fozzi is keeping her baby safe from them. Especially from Bo. Maybe this year Floffi will have learned her hard lessons and keep her 3rd baby safe from Bo.

I can't see Nona or any other female macaque as pathetic knowing it's because of us humans abuse of them that made the monkeys emotional damage. Thank you JW for sharing this video. 🤓🇸🇪🇺🇦🕊

i hope next season floffi gets tough with bo, or it will happen again. i hope she learned from fozzi.

So sad for Floffi she is good mother thorn between her Love for her family and siblings and her being a mom, so sad for the poor babies who were a victim from her aunt s who cannot have babies because of human intervention.

WOW!!!!!!! That car at the 5:17 time sure was traveling at a high rate of speed 😵😵‍💫🤯🥺😤😡😠🤬 They are going to kill any monkey that's in the road... Maybe even any humans too!!!!! I wish the hell they would slow down. They don't stand a chance of getting out of the way, same with the dogs or the wild boars. What the hell is his rush????

I saw the blank stare on Nona's face and my heart sank. But then I think of the people who live in Hong Kong. I will never meet them, I am sure, but they are my brothers and sisters. Would we ban them from using nature, perhaps learning a lesson or two about the universe along the way? Because, if we didn't control the macaque population, the wild parts of Hong Kong would be overrun with large troops of macaques battling for scarce resources, and Monkey Hill would become a no-man’s-land for humans. They would be as willing to kill other species (including us) as our species is to kill other species in our wars (collateral damage, I believe it’s called). Perhaps it would be more charitable to euthanize them. And that would be done with the same mindless efficiency of random sterilization that we use to control the population now. The only way to solve the problem is to eliminate the truly invasive species (you can guess which one that is) and turn our friends' fate back to nature. Not a cynic, just a (sad) realist. But thank you, JW, for sharing this part of nature with us.

I can’t remember, is Fozzi Lowina’s youngest daughter? If so she would be matriarch when Lowina is gone, correct? I know that wouldn’t deter Bo or Floffi but it would certainly give Fozzi more power to repel their advances. It breaks my heart to see any of these females in a situation that leaves them unable to conceive, it is their reason for being.😔 I don’t know the reasons behind why they are being sterilized but I don’t think any reason they could give is valid.🤨JW I don’t think Pepper is one of Lowina’s daughters, thus not a sister to Fozzi etc. Not 💯 sure but I don’t remember AM ever saying Pepper was of the royal family.
