What are the specific physical differences between your Well-X-Trol and Water Worker tanks which look mostly the same from the outside. Is the steel gauge different? Looks like this has a stainless elbow and Water Worker has a stainless insert in its elbow. Is that true, and are there any other physical differences?

The Well-X-Trol is rated for 150 PSI while the Water Worker is rated for 100 PSI which is contributed to steel thickness. Well-X-Trol has a full stainless steel elbow and Water Worker has a insert as you described. Some other features you'd get with Well-X-Trol is the antimicrobial liner, fresh water turbulator, and thicker full butyl diaphragm.

Not certain how adding extra domes increases the drawdown capacity (water capacity). When you showed the 2nd dome it had a round dome inside it with the air hole on top (not the dome with the Schrader valve). This second dome will prevent the bladder from expanding beyond it, thereby creating a certain max capacity that cannot be exceeded, right? So how does adding extra domes beyond this add extra drawdown? Is it due to the possibility that the bladder is not expanding to its max capacity in the smaller column units? Great video. Thank you.

The concept of adding additional domes it to create additional air volume in the tank. Due to Boyle's Law, the more air volume you have on the air side, the more volume will be on the water side. Consider the air volume and water volume proportionate. There is an acceptance factor formula that will showcase this concept mathematically. The maximum acceptance never changes, as you stated, the diaphragm can only go so far. However, the usable drawdown at a specified pressure range (ie. 40-60 PSI) will increase with a tank that has more air volume. That is why a 20-gallon pressure tank will hold ~5 gallons drawdown and a 32-gallon will hold ~10 gallons of drawdown. Both tanks have the same max acceptance, but one has more air volume to allow the diaphragm to accept more. It is very rare that a diaphragm is completely maxed out during normal operation.

@@amtrolinc Thank you for your quick response! I am familiar with Boyles Law, unfortunately, having to calculate what the volume of a 1" diameter sphere composed of several different gases, at the same temperature, 200' deep in water, would be when it reached the surface of the water. Not fun, but interesting, lol... Your reply answered my question. Thank you and best regards.

Was the turbulator installed in older tanks that are about 30 years old?
@amtrolinc

Hello, Thanks for your question. No, Turbulators have only been installed in tanks within the past 5 years or so.

@@amtrolinc Cool! Over the years the old tanks would have a lot of sediment in the bottom of the tanks. Thaks you for the response!!!!

You may need it. Keep this in mind of you have one shipping to you. If it needs warranty then what?

These used to be the best. Sold and installed many. But, now I am having issues with the bladder going bad before the 7 yr warranty out. Replaced 2 just recently. Not happy with that. Embarrassing to tell the customer you are buying the best and then have it fail. Seems like I am being the unpaid product tester.
