For quite a few expansions now, we have been hearing from various characters in WoW that Azeroth is the strongest Titan. Well, that Azeroth will be the strongest Titan, she's only a World Soul now. In today's video we attempt to answer why and if that is so.
Thanks for watching! :D

We didn't imbue Azeroth with the powers of the artifacts, we only drained the corruption out of the sword, for it not to remain as a threath to Azeroth. Not even talking about how little would even an artifact's power mean compared to the power of a titan. Also, imbuing Azeroth with other powers may kill her, because for example fel magic is not compatible with the arcane, and because of that, it would only threaten the world soul's life. Even Eonar is an arcane being despite using life magic, her lifeblood consists of arcane just like all of the other titan's as far as we know I just can't imagine Blizzard making another Med'an :D

I dunno about how little they are, Xal'athat was powerful enough to kill N'zoth, and artifacts were used in the battle against Argus. In either case, the case I was making in the video is her getting imbued with cosmic powers in major ways - Sargeras' sword, soul drain from Shadowlands etc. The artifact thing was more of a tangent :)

@@adanzaro Well it wasn't Xal'athat who killed him, Wrathion only used the dagger to weaken N'zoth and it was Magni and M.O.T.H.E.R who used the machine to end him. And she still wasn't imbued with the powers of the artifacts, just because a cosmic power contacted her that doesn't mean she will become empowered by it. They said that the Old Gods and Sargeras almost killed her along with the Jailer, I don't know how Azeroth getting their powers would make sense.

@Tamás Sargeras was a titan infused with fel. Not only did it not destroy him, him being a being of Arcane/order, but it apparently empowered him. Just a hole in your compatibility argument I wanted to point out. That said, you are right that we didn't infuse Azeroth with the artifact weapons - we used them to drain the corruption from the sword that was leaking into Azeroth, but it wasn't this alone that saved Azeroth. We spent the whole of BFA basically mopping up Azeroth's blood and pouring it back into her, this was after the artifacts were drained.

@@adanzaro Xalatath left the dagger before it stabbed Nzoth, and it wasn't the stab that even killed him, assuming he's even actually dead. If Xal is/was actually a 5th old god, or something similar, then that means that the dagger is capable of containing (at least part of) the essence of an old god. The dagger also strangely disappeared after making contact with Nzoth - it makes me wonder if Nzoth is still in the business of manipulating black dragons and planned to be sealed away by wrathion from the start. This seems even more true to me since it seems very likely that Nzoth knew about Azshara's plans, and thus likely knew she had the dagger at one point

@@virulentskills225 Its possible that a titan can become either fel or void infused, that is the entire point of Sargeras' story. However, that changes a titan's behaviour, like if the titan becomes corrupted by the void they will only serve the void's masters. I just don't think its logical to think that Azeroth could use the powers of the magical forces in the cosmos, just because she was in contact with them. Sargeras was also in contact with a much larger dose of fel energy than Azeroth. Azeroth was damaged by the sword heavily, but the fel magic in the sword (I don't know if it even contained fel, since it doesn't have any green fire effects) probably didn't inflict Azeroth that hard. She would have probably died from a larger dose, since she is very vulnerable in this stage of a titan's life. The same thing happened with the Old Gods, they didn't do that much damage to the world soul as far as we know from the story. Also don't forget that Sargeras had to learn how to use the energies in the Twisting Nether, and he was able to use them before he became corrupted

I remember Pyromancers theory that Azeroth IS reality. When she dies or wakes up, truly, all things will end. Like all of reality is actually her dreams or thoughts. Out of everything the burning crusade did, they couldn’t defeat the denizens of Azeroth. Every higher power antagonist in the Great Dark Beyond wants Azeroth. When Sylvanas first held the blood of Azeroth, she felt she could forge civilizations and life to its fullest potential and then burn it all down just as fast as she raised it. Sargeras wanted Azeroth gone because he was on his own crusade to eliminate all life. Zovaal uses the Azeroth forge that is underneath ice crown, and he is using it for “Eternities end”. That’s the power of Azeroth, life, reality, creation. Maybe Azeroth is the Titan of Reality and True creation. She is all things, she is the one surviving beacon of a force, the universe. The two moons are Azeroths children, Elune and the Winter Queen (white lady and the blue child), the winter queen of course having a seat of power in the afterlife only makes sense. Elune being a light magic deity of the planet of her mother (light being life/creation) and both their opposites spinning around Azeroth (emerald dream and ardenweald having their own planes of reality on the moons or just magically connected to the two) all tie together with the system of Azeroth and the two moons. It seems like they’re maybe trying to do something with this. Idk. It would be nice. I’m on copium.

Definitely on copium, bud. Kind of a cool theory, but it make no sense.
