I always find him very attractive but not handsome, but not sure which part make him look like that. Maybe his eyes, gosh I’ll drown just looking at his blue eyes. After watch your video, I think you are right..the uniqueness on his masculine and feminine figure make him super attractive and yess his voice.... goosshh!! I hate to have a crush on celebrity!
Gabas Elamin I think timmothee chalamet is in the same boat as villain, he has a great masculine jaw but his eyes and big and round, but since he’s so slim he never had that youthful fat phase cillian had, I think these kind of guys transform their perception based on the haircut they go for, when timmothee had the bowl cut for his role in the king he has a more masculine prince like royal vibe, when he has his long curls he has a more pretty boy vibe.
same, i dont understand how people can find that attractive lol i get that pale blue eyes like that are rare so its interesting but i still find it very off putting
I’ve done a couple hyperrealistic drawings of him so I’ve spent a few weeks at a time analyzing every square inch of his face. From all his freckles, to those prominent cheekbones to the little wrinkles near his ears but it his eyes that are the most interesting feature of all. His eyes, if you find a good close-up, clear photo of them....the irises seem to reflect the light more than normal eyes do. There are also sections closer to his pupils that are a darker blue. So you get this feeling that you are staring at crystal blue pools of water with deeper sections near the center. There are a lot of people with blue eyes, but his are different in the way they reflect. I think that’s one of the reasons why his blue eyes are so pretty and so incredibly striking.
I think that mix of very feminine and very masculine is what makes him so attractive. His masculine lower face says I’m powerful and can protect you and then his soft, feminine features on the upper part of his face say that he is intelligent, understanding, and caring. A perfect balance between the two energies.
The weird thing about cilian's face is that i didn't find him attractive before, but after watching the peaky blinders i find him ridiculously beautiful. And also Benedict cumberbatch.
Right? Like, I can understand he looks a bit odd at some angles / pictures, but when seeing him in video I can't imagine anyone saying he looks unattractive. He is intensely beautiful and handsome simultaneously, not to mention his smile is wonderful
He's definitely not conventionally attractive. I love him as an actor but I certainly wouldn't want to have his face (and I don't even particularly like mine, to begin with).
@@l.c.8183 is that supposed to be a bad thing? Lucifer couldn't have rebelled if God didn't make him rebel. Humans were created with free will, not angels.
His eyes looks soft, cold, and cruel at the same time. In red eye he's beautiful and creepy, in batman he's beautiful and cold with a little humour, in inception he's beautiful and regal, in peaky blinders he's masculine, cold, ruthless, unbelievably charismstic and sexy. How?
I honestly think the haircut he got for Peaky Blinders was what made him look generally more attractive, as well as his very masculine, serious, and calm demeanor he often acts with, and is to its extreme in Peaky Blinders.
Really? I’m actually not a big fan of the haircut, where it’s really long on top and severely short on the bottom. I prefer a normal short haircut on him. Even long hair looks good.
Martesa Deutschland please, ur giving me brain damage, no one likes a dumbass hater so fuck off, simple as, is that easy enough for you to understand? does it get through that thick skull of urs or not😂😂
kari pepes ur so sad. I’d rather use words like ‘fuck’ than discriminate someone’s based off their gender u should be ashamed. As if I would take advice from a sexist u must be joking😂😂🙄

I agree. He looks like male version of Nico and people were supposedly thinking she looked masculine back in the 60s while I think she had one of the most beautiful faces I've ever seen. It's kinda weird that attractiveness is so subjective that we call this look "unconventional".

His full lips are also noteworthy. Something about them also looks kind of artificial, although they aren't. Cillian Murphy just looks like an alien and I mean that as a compliment
He has the face of a tougher-looking pretty man character from Final Fantasy, yet he barely has played any fantasy roles. Not gonna lie, for me he'd make a very convincing Admiral Thrawn in any future Star Wars series, but even playing a comic book character he only put on a bag over his head and is probably allergic to 12-hour sessions of makeup everyday. We already have Ed Skrein, Ben Mendelsohn, Doug Jones... for that.
@@cassidyho939 Yes, like Chip and Joanna Gaines' children. They have such contrasting features but they work so beautifully together. They almost look like fairies.
i honestly used to find cillian’s face so creepy, then i watched peaky blinders and WOW! his eyes pierce the soul. his deeper voice also plays a strong role in his appeal to me, but i can’t help but find him insanely attractive these days
Same. I first saw him in Nolan's Batman Trilogy. I don't know why, his face just stuck with me even though i found him creepy. I was really young at that time and i disliked him as Scarecrow. But ever since Peaky Blinders, i am in love with him!! 🥰
I love interesting faces like Cillian’s. No offense intended, but the “standard” look is overrated. 🤷🏼♀️ Like you said, “The more polarizing your features are, the more infatuated your admirers are to your look.”

Cillian's beauty has more to do with his charm I think. His face gives me this charming elegant feeling that I can't really pinpoint, when he acts he just looks ridiculously beautiful, his movements and face charm do the beauty for me. His eyes are very distracting, and if I had to look at them, I bet I could not take my eyes off of them for even a minute. He got that beauty that no one else does, and god his voice does so much for him too.
Definitely, it’s his confidence, intelligence and almost mystery that makes him extremely attractive in Peaky Blinders and sets him apart from anyone else on the show.
I think him and Robert Pattinson have that same aloof-unreadable-unconventionally Hollywood type thing going on, although Cillian skews more mysterious, and Rob more chaotic
I find him very attractive. His masculine jaw and cheekbones show that he is a strong and confident man, a go getter, and his eyes show that he also has a softer, more caring side, whih makes it easier to connect with him.
@pink girl not really, but your life usually leaves traces on your face which can be mistaken for personality: different facial muscles get differently large depending on how they get used. If you barely ever emote with your eyebrows you usually get more droopy and low eyebrows (not by much, but if you have siblings that look almost the same but different face use, it will be more obvious). If you smile a lot, you often get a different wrinkle pattern than someone who frowns a lot, and so on. You however can't tell on strangers because there are so many different factors that go into it. Some people with EDS have skin that doesn't wrinkle well (no, it isn't worth it), so they might frown or smile a great deal more than their EDS free sibling, but it won't be as obvious as in them. Someone might frown a lot because of chronic pain, but have a great sense of humour and a happy personality despite that, but you wouldn't know by seeing their face in neutral mode, etc. Someone with residual partial facial paralysis after an accident might look like a grouch, when not being like that at all. Faces give clues and possibilities, but unless you know the person well already you won't be able to read them about their recent personality well enough.
I find him so attractive, literally the first time I saw him I thought that he’s one of the best looking men I’ve ever seen + he has the best jawline and cheekbones I’ve ever seen. I am always drawn to this kind of beauty, when I find someone really attractive but it’s nothing I’ve seen before, nothing common and a lot of times it seems like something is off. He also looks dead to me, especially with that Tommy Shelby’s haircut. He looks like a French soldier who died young during the war. Idk it sounds weird, I bet.
Yuliia Slyvka makes a lot of sense, I’d put him in the same boat as Kate moss, she has wider set eyes than usual but with great jaw and insane cheekbones.
It's always sub 5 women that say they have a thing for "unconventionally" attractive guys. It's like you all try to justify your attraction to men way, way out of your league. There is nothing unconventionally attractive about this man. He is more attractive than 99.99% of men and women. His bone structure is perfect and his ethn*c type, north atlantid, owing to his hair skin and eye color make him a near perfect specimen aesthetically. He could be taller though since women want 7 ft guys nowadays.
@@warrenbuffet5152 wow assuming complete strangers that you can't even see are sub 5...like sorry someone hurt you but no need to take it out on us lol
@@mstarburst Don't think of yourself as being a prize. Saying you have a thing for "unconventionally" attractive guys when they are obviously extremely attractive and light years above you is condescending and a dead giveaway that you are an entitled and deluded individual.
To me, he almost looks like he had plastic surgery at times. Something about the mild, upper puffiness in his cheeks. I know he's natural, though. Which makes it more interesting.
probably asleep Exactly. She only says “I know he’s natural” bc he’s a man. If it was a women people would accuse he/she of all plastic surgery that exist, even if she was actually natural. The double standards... I already saw people accusing Angelina Jolie of plastic surgery. 🤦🏾♀️
@@marteumar8429 Barely tbh I feel like society places more emphasis on womens looks so lets say if a woman has a big nose or an undefined face they are most likely the ones to get fillers or get surgery rather than men who can get away with them features and not be judged on it. Thats just my opinion tho.
He is exactly that: unconventionally attractive. I could fall asleep on a cloud made of his voice, though. His voice is superb. His acting is superb as well. He's enough to make me cry; and in fact, has done so. At the end of the film _Red Lights_ he does a voiceover narration of his thoughts to Margaret, played by Sigourney Weaver. I cry every time I listen to it. Beautiful.

He looks ethereal to me- like some hybrid child between an angel and a demon. He is breathtaking to look upon and in the show, his presence is powerfully magnetic. His face did startle me the first time I watched PB, but that lasted 5 minutes. The same thing happened when I watched Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock. My initial shock led to swoons within the first hour.
I thought he looked fantastic in the Batman series. Well-styled hair, outfit, and an unsuspecting face for a villain. His eye color is also a nice striking feature.
Everyone's saying they found him attractive after watching Peaky Blinders. But for me, I found him attractive after seeing his charecter on Breakfast on Pluto. The way this man can do both Thomas Shelby and Kitten is amazing. He has the perfect blend of masculine and feminine features. Also, he was very attractive imo in Batman.
Now THIS was an interesting episode! I've never understood how anyone could find this masterpiece of nature to be weird-looking, but now I get it. Still find him hot af, though 😆 The hollow cheeks, the sharp jawline, the big hooded icy blue (almost see-through) eyes, the fact that he looks bored all the time...I love him! How about an analysis on sir Mick Jagger circa 1969? 😃

He is a beautiful man, his best features are his eyes, very expressive and seems like he is looking straight into your soul. Looks aside, his talent as an actor and the way he carries himself as a man takes him to a whole new level of attractiveness. Attractiveness oftentimes has nothing to do with looks, but with character, confience, intelligence and charm. Just ask any women.
When studying abroad I met a Russian girl obsessed with him, but an Italian girl was like "lmao why ???" It's extremely polarizing, like either you want to have his children or find him creepy as hell haha
I know why people have polarizing opinions about his looks, and why everyone says his face is 'unconventionally' attractive. However, for me personally, he's simply, purely and objectively beautiful. And I mean that going by the looks, JUST by the facial features. He is GOREGOUS to me. His eyes are my favourite part of his face. Now, all that aside, it's his charm, his charisma, his voice and the way he carries himself in real life, as well as in shows and films, especially in Peaky Blinders or The Edge Of Love or Breakfast on Pluto, that makes him 100x more attractive. It's a mixture of everything.
Cillian is definitely unique looking. I get why some people might think he's funny looking. But I get mesmerized by his features. On top of that, he is a very intelligent and down to earth person and is an excellent actor. Theres no one like him
What I really like about this channel is the emphasis on unique beauty. It's not just a specific set of features being emphasized repeatedly, its more holistic.
I've always leaned more towards the side of Cillian Murphy being rather attractive, but I did think something was a tiny bit off about his face: the eyes. I'm now curious about other perceived unconventionally attractive men such as, Adam Driver, Rami Malek, Javier Bardem, Benedict Cumberbatch, Matt Smith (!?), Willem Dafoe, etc.
@@jadex9733 I'd never heard of Jordan Barrett before, so I did a quick Google search. His face is fascinating to me -- based on facial proportions, and not my attraction to him. I can see why the modeling industry may have found him "unique". As for the celebs I previously mentioned, people are usually extremely split regarding their looks. So it's no surprise you don't find them attractive. 😊
@@lemon-nu7xp For myself, Rami Malek falls in the middle. I think his twin, Sami, looks like a softer version of him (meaning, softer jaw and cheekbone angles).
He has an androgynous look. He may have a strong jaw, but there’s something beautifully and uniquely feminine about the way his eyes are set, and his neckline.
Eva green always seems to get cast as similar roles.. like a seductive witch type character.. would be interesting to see how u think her facial features play a part!
I think it's really similar to Cillian. She has such high cheekbones that give her a gaunt look, and her eyes are hooded and slanted and grey, so they're really intense. I feel like she has masculine eyes in a feminine face, so she comes off as powerful and seductive. In sexual fantasies, she's more likely to be the teacher than the girl next door.
She said herself as always been referred to as "mysterious" she's gorgeous but not the supermodel type when you see her you see charisma in her eyes face and you almost pay no attention to the rest
I think you should make an episode on Natalie Dormer. She fits this series perfectly. Very unconventional looks, but most find her very attractive, and like you said in the end, her unique looks have made the fan boys and fan girls even more infatuated. Of course, Benedict Cumberbatch is another perfect example.
we NEED Benedict Cumberpatch in this series, I was just about to write a comment about him, only to notice that I'm definitely not the first to think about his unusual features
Yes, Natalie Dormer always seems especially attractive to men, even though she has a very asymmetrical face and none of the features you'd expect to be attractive, like full lips.
@@V66912 no they are, especially on women, but if you google Natalie Dormer she has very thin lips, which is why I'd love a breakdown on why she's so attractive despite not having the traditional attractive features :)
it's funny - when i first saw him in Batman Begins 15 years ago i didn't really notice him. five years later i was a bit intrigued by him in Inception, but it wasn't until i saw him in Peaky Blinders 7 years ago that i completely fell in love with his striking beauty. to me, his face is not only handsome but also beautiful. that's rare.

This man is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen on the planet. I don't have celeb crushes and never get hung up on anyone's looks but jesus Christ cillian is beautiful
It's kind of like the uncanny valley effect. You're right that he's hard to read and that he looks half tough half soft. Overall, it's actually pretty great to be your own brand of beautiful. No one can compete with your look 🤣
You know, it's interesting that even with this very masculine bone structure, he looked GORGEOUS as Patricia Kitten Braden in "Breakfast on Pluto". Especially by the end of the movie, with the blonde wig and all...looked like an angel!

I know I'm late, but I think what makes him attractive is his eyes. They have the lightest shade of blue that would really attract you; It would be hard for you to resist such a magnificent pair of eyes. Then it's the fact that it seems droopy and drowsy, the type of eyes that make it like he seems to stare at your soul.
"Then they are the most dangerous because they are impossible to read" Before that statement I wasn't sure if it's offensive to say that to me he has this psychopath look but this just described what I was thinking. It's so fascinating how we react to the looks of sth or someone.

am I the only one who instantly think cillian is beautiful?? I watched red eye in 2010 and when he first appeared on screen I was starstruck because he's so beautiful.
I recently watched 28 Days Later again after not seeing it for years, and Cillian’s soft feminine eyes do a LOT to help him seem more human and relatable. In the film, he has a softening effect on the tough female character Selena which is an interesting male/female role reversal in the beginning of the film. By the end, the characters switch back to traditional male/female roles by necessity. Since Cillian has both the hyperfeminine and hypermasculine facial features, both of those roles fit him well. Very interesting video here.
His face is just A LOT of expressions and feelings all at once. It’s almost too odd and yet magnetic and quite stunning. He’s a casting director’s dream and he’s got all the acting ability to own every prism that his face offers.
I've never found anything "off" about his his face. I think he is literally the most attractive man in Hollywood. I like his strong jaw and soft eyes. It might be weird but I think I like him so much because he looks "familiar" to me. I have similar features and my brother looks a lot like him but blonde. Idk he just feels familiar and safe to me.
I actually read an article about how Irish people are extremely divided about his looks : some find him extremely attractive and some find him really ugly. Personally, I find him eerily attractive. He has this haunted man look , like a character from a book.
No, I don’t think Irish people are divided about his looks. He’s generally considered to be handsome here. I will say, he has a classic Irish open face in ways. His bone structure seems very Irish, with the high cheekbones and large eye sockets.
Was it an Irish article? I don’t think too many people here would say he wasn’t handsome, what do you think? To me he almost has an old-fashioned Irish look. Reminds me of old photos of great grand-uncles when they were young, like in the 1930s or 40s. The men all seemed to have the high cheekbones and high brow bones
@@deadzoo Yes it was, in a big one too. Can't remember if it was the Independent or the Irish times. There was even a poll about it to ask the readers how they felt. I completely agree with you, I think he has gorgeous features, typically Irish. It's nice to see Irish beauty celebrated openly.
Cillian is absolutely exquisite. A compelling beauty, which is so unique. It is his lips, smile & voice which do it for me. When he smiles- swoon!!........💖
SlumberB 蛾 not really. it maybe placebo, but I think it really changed my face a bit. I started when I was 28. my upper teeth for sure have wider line. this I can feel with my toungue. tongue is a very strong muscle. also profile is more proportional
A good diet with full nutrience is also very important for mewing, as mike mew has explained with ancient indigineous people having straight teeth, widr palates, and slightly more worn teeth too.
I just started watching peaky blinders during this quarantine, and omg Tommy Shelby is so Hot and classy, and intelligent, I'm in love like a teenager with Cillians character. And those eyes...
its his eyes. if you watch his earlier 20s he already mastered the sad eye look, like in Disco Pigs and On the Edge. it even helps that he's one of the actors that can act using his eyes alone.
I remember when i first saw his face on a movie acc on instagram and stare at it like 5 minutes thinking he's the most beautiful men ever and started to searched more about him and i love his personality so much when he's on some interviews😍 I love everything about him!!!
He has a very memorable face. I saw him in In Time and after watching it I googled who he is because I was transfixed by his beautifully haunting face.
I think Cillian is not only a beautiful face but also a great actor, some people just realized of it with Peaky Blinders (one of my favourites series ever) I've first met him in 28 days later
never thought twice about cillian until seeing him play tommy shelby in peaky blinders, he is literally the most stunning human being I’ve ever seen and he’s almost 44 !!!!! that man has my heart 🥺👉👈
