SO glad my Cubbies are getting some love. Our team has been so overlooked this season and they have played GREAT baseball. Beating the teams they should and winning a lot of the games against great teams. Shota has been spectacular! And how bout Pitching Ninja getting the shoutout in Boston last night!? I didn’t miss that. That’s what’s up.
Rookie of the Year! As a Cubs fan currently without Steele, what a story Shota IMANAGA (had to edit this last name in, post watch 😂😂) has been. Absolutely love him
Shota Imanaga is awesome. Shows not all about Velo. Mason Miller a monster. I cant see how long your arm last throwing 102mph. His stuff is electric. So happy see Chris Sale pitching well too 😊 Seth Lugo curveball was so good.
@@PitchingNinjaVideos I am too. It is his animation on his face. He seems a pitching ninja at like 5'9" but having fun. His fastball and splitter and curveball so nasty. Keep up the amazing videos too. Love seeing your videos everyday 😁 Dylan Cease 7Ks i can see.
@@PitchingNinjaVideosIf you're familiar with baseball anime there is one very popular about high school baseball called Ace of Diamond. I sent this comment before on videos of Imanaga's highlight videos in MLB and said he is like the life version of the MC there Eijun Sawamura. Please check it out and let me know what you think. I really think Shota is the real life version of that character.
Once at a Dodgers game I has a whole section singing “Sean Manea Sean Manea, Sean Manea” to the tune of “Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus” so your come on Eileen reference stuck the landing with me lol
Was at the game. Ober took a no hitter to the ninth and being ab angels fan, i yelled HE HAS A NO HITTER GOING next pitch rengifo singles to right center
That's Roberto Hands of Stone Duran getting knocked out by I think Sugar Ray Leonard (you can tell I didn't cheat and Google it) but if not him it'll have been Tommy The Hitman Hearns or 3rd choice the Marvellous Marvin Hagler. But I think it was SRL
I even spelled it with the long o (line over the o), so I felt better about it, but still ended up deleting it. I'm pretty good with all slang/urban dictionary stuff...but I had no idea about that word. Never gonna make THAT mistake again.
@@PitchingNinjaVideos his name is pronounced like SHOUTA or SHOWTA. NOT like SHOTAH. That would sound confusing in Japan, and perhaps among other peoples with certain taste.
shota imanaga is great pitcher! don't wiki shota. his name pronauce shouta (shohta) it's big difference what you wiki. 昇太shouta is really great name in japan😊 i really happy that pitching ninja pick him up 🎉
@@PitchingNinjaVideosGreat to hear that. Ask him also about the contents of the book he published last year in Japan to help young pitchers physically and mentally. If he would consider getting it translated and localized...🙂
Hello from Tokyo! I’m a native Japanese speaker, and my son’s name is Shota. You shouldn’t worry about Shota to mean something inappropriate in Japanese. 99.9% of Japanese people don’t think so. At least none around me. If a lot of people did, why would anyone name their kids Shota.
Had you called him Imanaga, you avoid the problem. It's odd that everyone refers to Japanese players by their first names? While so many domestic players are referred to by their last names?
If I say Max, everyone thinks Scherzer. If I say Sugar Shane, it's McClanahan. Jameson Taillon is Jamo, etc. And I don't think anyone calls Yamamoto...Yoshinobu. It just depends on the name.
