Overall, interesting opinions. I think Bad Batch has a lot of things which make it stand out. The different shenanigans with Cid's missions were always fun to me. The animated shows have historically struggled in their first seasons. Keep your faith in it bro, we'll get through this. Plus season 2 is off to a great start. It hit on the Echo Tech critique everyone had, and has leaned into it's own antagonists more than referencing others.
I think season 2 will be great! Loved Echo in these 2 episodes, I really appreciated that the way he acts is similar to how he was in The Clone Wars too. They nailed his character this time around!
thank you so much! personally for me, it’s so hard to tell. i really enjoyed the cody episode, and the racer one as well. the rest have been alright to me but im just waiting to see the whole season before i decide. for me, one thing that frustrates me is that this story wants to be like TCW in the sense that it’s not serialized and you can just tell any story you want in any order, but it also wants to be like the live-action shows and build to a finale/overall story. and to me it can be jarring having 1 episode about the actual story of TBB, and then 5 where they’re kind of just doing missions. what do you think so far?
@@AustinSWE3 i see, I'm of the same opinion and I'm thinking that I'm gonna binge the rest instead of watching it weekly because some episodes feel like filler and a whole week of waiting for those ones feels very underwhelming.
Did you get a chance to comment on Season 2? I couldn't find your feedback. Just to clarify, I view the Bad Batch as a continuation of the Clone Wars, rather than a spin-off. The show follows the adventures of Rex, Cody, Cut, Gregor, and others as they navigate the challenges of the Empire Era. It also tells the story of the Bad Batch and their relationship with Omega and to explain the cloning techniques that Emperor Palpatine will or will not use to explain Episoid 9. Personally, I see the series as a metaphor for the struggles that veterans face after serving their country, and how their government often neglects them.
