I love the 747 because it is such an iconic airplane. I have never flew once onboard a 747 but did seeing it from my own eyes twice and my god what a beautiful aircraft and it's of course Avgeeks favorite airplane including myself. Long live the Queen👑

Awesome Qatar Airways! I love you guys when you land at Amsterdam Schiphol airport. Unfortunately these 2 Boeing 747-8F aircraft will be phased out and get a new life at UPS. Shame to see them go😢

Does it take longer to start and stop the plane? So does a regular runway long enough to handle this kind of weight? Kind of like a car and big rig. The car can stop faster so the big rig takes more room to stop than a car. Love this video from the cockpit view
