David Deck hi, are you in the Byron area? I am, and I’d love to go ride my board with someone else. Do you fancy it? If you reply here, maybe we can exchange email at some point. Cheers
HelmetBlissta ..looking at the footage on this Vid I wish I was in Byron, however, I'm over in the Margaret River region of WA but would be cool to catch up if and when the boarders ever reopen :-)
Wonderful product! What foil set would you recommend to have the MOST time foiling in flat water? My weight is 190 pounds and I am a quite competent foiler. Thanks!
Just went out for my second session today.. My trouble is how fast I have to go before the efoil lifts me out and I would much rather go at the speed that you are doing in this video. When I get lift I am going too fast.. What speed are you cruising at here David? Thanks!
Using speed to get the lift is a learning step that you need to get beyond. Real flying is done totally by your balance and position on the board. Moving back or shifting weight rearward gets the board flying. The larger the front wing the slower you can fly, but again, it's the balance point, not the speed.
so you do realize the video of him talking to the camera is fake - right See any wake? He just said he can go for 2 hours the stats says up to 40 minutes.
You can see a wake. Most of the time it's directly behind him which is why it's hard to see. But if you look closely you can see a faint trail in the distance, such as at :51, :59, etc. And you can see it really easily when he turns to the side, such as right at the beginning at :01 and :03, at 1:04, 1:18, etc.
these dont work as well as they show, its barely moves a 200 pound person and WONT life them out of the water, mnotice how they all small people on this BS thing
Derek Walker you can paddle all day long on a lake in Switzerland or the USA, or the Mediterranean and you are not going to catch any waves. And it’s a totally different sport. Which is why surfers sometimes find it harder than non surfers to learn.
@@Fliteboard 1 - I have never witnessed anyone trying to surf on a lake. 2 - You call this a sport? REAL surfing...sure, what you are doing, lol, not so much.
