The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is the perfect starting bike for people learning how to use a motorcycle. It offers superior turning radius, moderate power, a comfortable riding position, and does have the ability to punch through in traffic. The 300 is actually titled as being a commuter bike. It offers about 400 miles per gallon for 1 "Full" tank of gas, can reach speeds of up to 114 miles per hour, and has a very forgiving clutch for those people who have never ridden a bike before. I bought a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja 300 and love my bike. The groups I've ridden with have never left me behind and there has never been a gap. We cruise at 75 mph and my bike keeps up just fine as they don't just roll off and take off at a light. That is dangerous. For maintenance the oil changes, lubricating, and fluid filling and checking is very easy to do and easy to reach as with the other bikes its a lot more invasive and having to remove the fairings.

Ninja300 is a perfect starter bike, and every day bike. I pass people on the freeway no problem and I’m a big dude. And riding with 600’s and liter bikes has never been an issue. I don’t ride with idiots that need to go 110+mph on the freeway so I’ve never “chased” power. Also, I got a BRAND NEW 2016 ninja300 with less than 0.25 miles on it for $2,699 from a dealer!

I think it's more than enough for a beginner. I don't know why people are obsessed with more powerful bikes? They are good for overtaking but they can be very dangerous in the hands of an inexperienced rider. I owned many bikes over the years from 100cc when I started and all the way to R1 and many in between and I enjoyed riding every single one if them. And to be honest I felt good owing the R1 but I sold it after 6 month , it was way too powerful for commuting around town. Si my advice to all riders, each bike brings some new experience and enjoy riding for the sake of riding because you not in a race all the times

The wind hits me hard on my 300. When I was learning, we had very windy days and it felt quite scary bc I was being pushed all over. I'm pretty used to it now but a light bike and a light rider, makes for some uncomfortable times.

when deciding on your first bike it should be as much as you can handle I started with a buel blast it was a good decision for me. I've known people that started with 1000cc bikes. I met a girl in Atlanta who learned to ride on her friends sport bikes. when she bought her first bike it was a Hyabusa. I guess it depends on your level of confidence. I don't think I'll ever ride a Hyabusa, if it will go fast I'll ride it fast same with cars.

+Caitlin Mudd The light weight of the 300 is the reason why I picked it! I started on a CBR 600 and i should *not* have done that. (It fell over once and I couldn't pick it back up again..) The weight of the 600 made me nearly fall over at every single gas station. I don't have that problem on my Ninja 300! :)

I suggest you start small like me. IF. IF. You think you CAN handle a 600 for your first bike than it's do-able. You WANT to grow and progress. BUT new. Used. Up. To. You. I got brand new and put frame sliders on mine for protection. I want this to be my first n last bike. I want to cruise too.

I agree with you bro I've had my 2014 ninja 300 for about 3 months or so now and being maxed out at 112 mph is a little slow. Price was a big thing for me I wanted a cheap way to get around town. And it was very affordable. Buddy just got a Yamaha r1 he has 600$ a month for insurance alone on top of a 400$ bike payment. So obviously an r1 is at the top for expense wise..... Those reasons are why I decided to get the CBR500R instead of the 300. The 500R isn't much more power, but it is all I need for my commute. It is a little heavier, a little bigger, a little larger breaks, slightly larger tires, a little more leg room (lower pegs), and is still only about $6000

My downfall with my 300 is, I always need to shift...a lot more frequent than a 600. I also notice that I need to be higher up on the rpms. I'm sticking with my ninja 300 its more then enough power for the city and to drive and what's the Pont of more power its just a different bike and the height it good all you have to to is rise the shock becouse im 6 foot and its the right height is great for me and yeah the 300 is not the best but I tryed rideing the 1000cc sports bikes and its just to much power for the city and most people want power to look cool but in all even a 125cc can do the same damage as a 100cc can do so what's the Pont and if the height dnot cit it for you go with a cbr 300 there a bit slower but there raceing bikes and are a bit higher if you're a beginner don't go higher then a 300 and don't buy a new bike 99% of people fall as a beginner Rider with the new bike that's why if you buy it used one it's not as bad if you fall because you paid for it used

The CBR300 is probably the best beginner bike. It's a step above the Ninja 250 and CBR250. A great bike to practice turning, braking, and getting use to street riding. I'd suggest the 250's over the Grom any day. The Ninja 300, R3, and Ninja 400 , CBR500, maybe after six months of riding experience. These bikes get the best gas mileage. From what I witnessed, A 600cc of any kind is NOT a good beginner bike. At least 1 year experience from one of the above bike's mentioned. An SV650, MT 07, Z 650, Ninja 650, or CB650F are good intermediate bikes. R6, CBR600rr, Ninja ZX-6R, GSX-R600 are for advanced riders. A beginner or slight experienced rider is destined to meet Jesus very soon on one of these. These racing 600's, 750, a liter bikes are better designed for the track, not ideal commuters. I've owned a variety of variety bikes. I wished I'd kept the SV650, but needed money at the time. I currently drive an R3 and I like it. If i had a super bike, I don't think I'd last long.

im just about 6' 1" @ 185lbs on a 2007 ninja 250. ergonomics im sure are worse than a 300. I've been on an hour commute with only a slight bit of discomfort.

I will recommend best bike you can buy in low budget is KTM rc 390. Paying too much money and you don't have abs shame on for 300.

How heavy are you, btw? For comparison reasons, I feel like I could be a good jockey on a lower power bike, 130lbs on a 300? lol

I wonder how much faster I could be on a liter bike than a lot of the guys would be. Do they ever have females race in motoGP or anything?

125cc is the right option to start on yzfr125 it will give you the chance to learn the roads car behaviours starting on anything bigger is stupid

Sure, on roads where 45 mph is the speed limit. It is asinine to drive such a small stock engine bike on an interstate highway which the limit is easily above 55mph.

To those reading this, this price isn't normal at all, so don't go hunting for six months telling dealer so and so got it for $3500. The odds of you getting one for that price are insanely low, you may be searching forever unless used and a few years have passed.

* Reads the title of this video and notices NOTHING in the content of the video has anything to do with the Ninja 400 * So apparently you have no clue what coherence means, and you expect people to take your opinion about the 300 not being a highway worthy bike overall? And, you have a video a good beginner bike versus what you said about the 300 in this video. You can't make up your mind what you believe about the 300. I take your opinion seriously just as often as I do the typical politician....NEVER. Thumbs down.

(facepalm). Do you even watch and listen to your own content before you upload it? You also have a video entitled "What makes the Ninja 300 a GOOD beginner bike? It has over 6.6k views. So you say one main idea in this video and then say the exact opposite in that other one. Pay attention .LOL. -_-
