Let's look at my white Strat, and the mods I've done which make it one of the best guitars I've ever played!
Signal chain - Strat into Hudson Broadcast, Mythos Wildwood Mjolnir, EHX Holy Grail spring reverb, Mesa/Boogie Electra-Dyne, Two Notes Captor X.

Sweet sounding guitar James. Wondering if the stainless steel frets affect the tone at all? I'm sure the saddles do.

Yeah mate they definitely do, but mostly it's a feel thing. They are slippery-er.. haha Plus, no fret dressing!

the saddles are out of intonation

It's tuned to D standard, so saddles look a little different. Though, it will be going back to standard next re-string.

@@jamessouthwellOFFICIAL no, I'm just letting you know because it sounds out of tune, and if you look at the physical saddles "their location", they have to be in a specific position for the guitar to be in tune all over the neck, (they are not in that position), even if it's tuned to drop D they're not in that position either.
