I was looking for the better black rookie than Reese so I asked my Brave AI "who are the best black rookies in the WNBA" and it spouts out that Caitlin Clark is the best black rookie in the WNBA, including listing in detail her accomplishments as a player. Near the end it mentioned ESPN listed Angel Reese as the best rookie (didn't mention colour) and then it concluded that they consider Caitlin to be the best black rookie in the WNBA based on all their previous information listed. I am NOT joking. Wow! [found out elsewhere, it's Aaliyah Edwards who's better than Reese]

Her coach laughed when Carter did it. Then she patted her on the back. Her teammates clapped. Its cultural. The Sky uses her like an ice hockey enforcer. The WNBA needed to eject her from the league the second time it happened. Instead, we’re onto the 4th. You get suspended for technicals- like hitting a mat. Carter plays for Chicago, no cash bail. Meaning she wouldn't even get arrested. I live in the Chicago SW Burbs, I'll get tickets to watch Indiana over Chicago every day of the year. The way the WNBA has failed to do anything in regards to flagrant fouls shows just how much they'd rather be dependent on the NBA as opposed to being their own, self responsible, entity.

You got far from the question at hand. Your focus shouldn't be on how professional Mabrey is or what her response was to the flagrant attack by Chennedy Carter. The focus should be on player safety. If a player focused on playing the game is attacked on the floor, they could be severely injured. Chennedy Carter has no control over her emotions during a game. The WNBA should have policies in place to address that issue. It isn't subjective or open for discussion. Every single player should know what the consequences will be if this happens. End of story. Stop playing with their safety and give a strong response. She should be suspended and her pay cut for the games she is suspended. Make a statement.

@@KingdomHoops Not the right approach, sir. I liked this vid, but It can't be just CC that if gets hurt, but ANYONE. And it's going to happen, and then what? A career might be ended. People will be so shocked that going to see a game in person will be out of the question. Same for even watching them on replay videos. I want to think most of the good players are there for the love of the sport (it can't be the money, right?), but the rest with issues need to go somewhere else. Hurting someone/anyone on purpose shouldn't take any thought at all to punish, and the coaches reaction was inexcusable. The league is so worried about revenues, but are they really? Are they really that concerned, or are they afraid of something else? Let's face it, there is so much talk about race now, and it muddies the waters. And for woke league leadership (like you have in the NHL as well), they just want to sweep things like this under the floorboards.

Unfortunately, the only thing bullies understand is an immediate, much harder, physical response. One of these days, she's gonna push someone too far, and they're gonna take off on her. Yep. Each team needs their own version of Dennis Rodman, Bill Laimbeer, etc. Someone to do the "dirty work" when one of their own gets hurt. Flailing elbows on a rebound. @kimmnicolay6370 Yeah, I agree. I still haven't been able to catch a full game because of my work schedule. But I did hear the comments Nancy made about keeping Clark safe. Nancy didn't take that BS back in her day. I saw a clip where Clark said, " I wanna punch her in her f'n face" When she got tackled at half court the other day. But she knows she can't get a tech, so she actually jogged away from it just to make sure. She's definitely not soft like a lot of these players seem to think she is. I don't think she will, but I'd LOVE to see her take off on the next one that does her dirty. OR they need to bring in an enforcer.

Q. Does the WNBA consider itself as a professional organization. A. No, how can they? Carter could be a good player. She is not a good player. A good player plays well without playing dirty. (Flagrant Fouls) C Clark has brought a ton of new fans with her to the WNBA. Sure, they want to watch Clark play. They also want to watch pro basketball, not bush league bs. Yes, player safety is completely compromised when Carter is on the court. WNBA got these fans because of one player. (Caitlyn Clark) It seems that the WNBA is willing to lose those fans because of one player. (Chennedy Carter) Does the WNBA want injured star players, or the money they are making from the new fans? Any flagrant foul should be accompanied by a BIG fine, then if repeated a fine and game suspension. When you start hurting their bank accounts they'll either straighten up their play or end up homeless out in the street. The WNBA has been playing in relative obscurity so all of the poor management went unnoticed....but now that CC has brought LOTS of attention to their league...everyone needs to up their game to professional levels or they're going to lose everything. Referees need to enforce the rules and management needs to discipline thug players.

Either the league controls the players, or the players control the league!!The officials in the WNBA let a lot more go than the officials in the men’s NBA. I hand it to the women players, because they play very hard and they take a ton of physical punishment! I am a former athlete who has achieved all of the accolades possible at every level. Having seen this behavior on more than one occasion, the remedy to the Chennedy Carter situation is simple. She should be banned from the league forever. Shame on the WNBA for not doing it already. She's gone too far and if something isn't done soon, her viciousness will escalate resulting in an injury to an accomplished competitor that will be a detriment to this league. League executives are playing with fire on this issue with this player. She's a thug and an embarrassment. I've seen her type over and over throughout my career. This is not a thug's league. She was given a chance to play but this now represents the fourth time that this behavior is causing problems with her. Throw her out of the league and be done with it.

What on earth has Carter's value to the team got to do with what consequences she should receive for non-play-related aggression against another player? How is that different from your suggesting it would be a "conundrum" to punish someone for a crime because they're rich, or white, or head of a corporation? And here's silly me, thinking the idea is supposed to be, if you do the crime, you do the time, when it's really, according to you, all about who you are.
