"Why would I value someone's criticism if I don't care about their opinion?" What a perfect way to say it. Regarding ranting about your ex, we all instinctively know it drives other people away, so if we're not ready for another relationship but can't consciously admit it, we can use this behavior as a self-defense mechanism to keep people at a safe distance. A mature person will bring that up to conscious awareness and own it as a stage they're going through on their healing journey, whereas an immature person will sublimate it under the guise of presenting themselves as an innocent victim.
What I tell the new guy about my exes: “I loved them all 😂😂😂” On a serious note, I would add something to your 5 points. It is the combination of the contrary. 1-being playful while being serious when required 2- positive energy while being able to be vulnerable when feeling low 3- Caring a damn what people think while understanding how others feel 4- Tell them how you handled the previous relationship on a personal level both the positive and negative 5-being ambitious and passionate while being able to be content and calm
Wow, I will subscribe to your channel on relationship tips. I was enlightened how you completed his topics on the five things men like in a woman...telling the positive and the negative to how s seroius.matter was handled. So truthful that one!
I always feel like it is not my job to give the guy my positive energy because it really seems like they are. just taking it ... it's everyone's own responsibility to be happy and share it, woman or man.
The way I look at it is my positive energy is for me and gives me joy....if anyone tries to take advantage of that I chose not to be in their space. I hope that makes sense!
I recently met someone that I like a lot, I realized he has such a passion for what he does, it made me think Im so not on his level because I do not have any passions, this has made me a little sad and self conscious, but now I see I must find a passion to level myself up..
In my opinion...you are exactly on his level...as I'm seeing in what your saying...you look in yourself to explore...yourself...most dont care enough to look inward...& you dont think you have a passion....well I dont know what you call it...I certainly do call it "Passon" so now use that...expand on your passion...

Your channel just happened to come across my screen. I must say I was impressed with the manner in which you presented this video. Polite, clear, a little humorous, and in a composed way. One thing that stood out was where you mentioned that we shouldn't be dependent upon someone else to make us happy, but be happy and complete in ourselves and let our partner complement us. I was married 3 months shy of 30 years, until my husband passed 6 years ago. Be playful...I agree, sometimes it feels good not to act our age:), and even though we are up in years, go a head and act like a kid or a teenager again!! Life is serious, I know, but a smile, and laughter goes a long way. A merry heart doeth good like medicine. And grumpy people usually aren't healthy either, and no one enjoys their company. Be a ray of sunshine. Be positive. There are times that one can be negative because of certain circumstances, but that shouldn't be the tenor of our character. I enjoy being cheerful, and as you say, love my job giving heart and soul into it, even though I'm dog tired at the end of the day, :) I have my own style, all which I hope someday some good man may come to appreciate.

I do agree with all that has been said however in today society it not like that anymore. If very hard to find a man who appreciate all that qualities, sad to say they are all taken and what is left are the men who doesn't appreciate those qualities because of their insecurities. The cold hard truth are the men of today are not looking for woman with those qualities, they are looking for the superficial woman who don't have a clue.

The key is to look for validation and acceptance in your relationship with Jesus Christ first. I was impressed by this delivery because every thing focuses on what a woman should be doing for herself and which in return a man will love in her contrary to the common jargons of what a woman should be doing for men to have them love them this is belittling as if a woman is an object positioned in some place just to do things for men to get them love her validate her appreciate her value her...it makes feel bad..do this do that but for men ...why...this is what I have always wanted to hear something that focuses on women, something that empowers women and not make them live as objects for men...
