Back in the 80's Public Broadcasting (PBS) would run programs like this that I would tape late at night no hype or drama - they were funded by Colleges and Endowments so I hope you have resources as well - you do lots of work and it's all really clear and very educational

Very few places have enough sunlight for solar power, all of the mining and manufacturing is energy intensive and petroleum based. Wind has the same problems and is usually far from urban centers. Both wind and sun require huge power lines and a much larger grid for distribution, which people will not tolerate. The amount of mining and processing that you are suggesting is many times greater than has ever occurred with environmental impacts that are greater than any possible savings. All a pipe dream at best!

You should add comparion on what fossil fuel plants needs. What kind of materials and of course the constant flow of burnable fuel with emissions. Often this kind of videos are one-sided and does not have a comparion to alternatives. Climate change denials often says that we don't have enough this or that or this will create too much emissions. A fair comparison between the solutions should be made. Also keep in mind that specially in battery/energy storing technologies there are loads of alternatives. Lithium, kobolt, sand, salt, water, hydrogen, ... All of these depends on where to use them. It is not wise to use Tesla packs for heating or even for non-transportable usage. The light materials should be directed to movable usage like cars. And even in there solid state batteries are coming with some benefits against current lithium based batteries.
