Interestingly, i thought i sucked and my recordings were pretty bad, but when i took a music recording class and got access to the school’s recording studio, i ran an expensive ribbon mic through a hardware compressor and i was surprised how good my vocals sounded. Then again, later i tried to record something else on basically the same setup, and it sounded like shit. So maybe my technique was jsut on point that day 😂

why the smaller diaphragm size? if you're just starting this is great but if you have some experience the sm7b is a great option. low gain, great tone capture and it's pretty cheap. (but GOOD GEAR IS NOT GOING TO MAKE YOU A GOOD SINGER)

Tobias Sammet of Edguy/Avantasia also uses Shure microphones for his vocals. They must be pretty decent.

Plugins too for mixing if u want crisp sound (everyone does it )

well if you're good just a normal regular microphone but if you're like most vocalists then you get the very expensive advanced ones that have muffler screens on them so it makes their screams actually sound decent

Sir, I want to do voice over. I want to buy Sure SM 58 mic. But a shopkeeper told me that you cannot do recording with dynamic mic. This is not for recording. Condenser mics are made for recording. Sir, what should i do ? Please tell me the Truth

Hey there, David! I'm enrolled in your free screaming course and watched the first two videos the day of, but today, when I clicked the link to number 3, it said enrollment is closed🤔. It doesn't really matter what mic you use I use to record on a 2013 no brand tablet from Walmart and it still sounded good

"A free one but kind of a pain in the ass to use is audacity" I sir, feel targeted as I learned how to record/edit using audacity first. love the content, started following the screaming videos because i wanted to sing like them Mexican Mariachi bands to mess with my friends and tourists.
