I can hear that interesting dominant-7 chord. which is also can be heard in some 4cyl engine in some specific resonant system to make that kind of resonance at certain rpm.
it seems like the cylinder count defines what overtone takes dominance. it happens to be the 7th overtone in the fourier series so it's not only a dominant 7th chord but also a 7th dominant overtone, because the overtones before it (4, 5, 6, or root, major third, and perfect fifth) help it form that chord
Dude, best I7 cylinder sim I’ve ever heard. What about going for a lower reving, higher displacement “domestic” style engine? Something Dodge or GM might’ve done. Would love to hear what it would sound like in that context. Sounds like a pretty angry tone, albeit kind of “nannnng” in the top end.
Wow this is amazing! Can you please do an inline 9 cylinder and maybe even an 11? You have no idea what you would be doing for the car community, the views will come, keep making these! I don't know if you can but can you do larger capacity engines like ridiculously large v8s and of course smaller and larger 7 cylinder engines. This video has given the best insight to what a 7 cylinder would sound like and wow it gives me goosebumps. You have earned an instant subscriber and ill be looking out for your future videos! Thank you!
How about a W7 prototype engine. I had an idea about it in the 2021 summer and it sounded so amazing in motorsim 2. It has a mix of V6 and V8 and it sounded so good at 8 RPM. Hopefully you can remaster the W7 engine sound someday. I got the BEST idea of the engine. It has 3 cylinders on the middle and 2 cylinders on each side. There you have it.
Agco sisu has 7 cylinder diesel back in 2008. Sisu Diesel engine has displacement of 9.8 litres making 365KW and it converts to horsepowers almost 500hp
I'm designing a 4.0L inline 7 cylinder race engine for uni which will be 3D printed to full scale. It will only be a moving model but it's awesome to know what it would sound like if it was real.
This is the ONE🤩 I'm planning to make a radial 7 coupled to a supercharger and do some more goodies to it, because I want mine to sound like it can scare the dead out of their sleep, it's going to howl like crazy😁 It can be done!
All this stuff is awesome! Just watching a bunch of your videos I'm trying to get good sound samples of rpm loops for a tank both on throttle and throttle released for my personal game i'm making. How would I go about doing that with this? With a chunky diesel sound
Sounds like the vtech V6 that’s in the Acura nsx that revs to 8k mixed with a V8. Being a 7 cylinder I would expect it to have a bit of both the v8 and v6 sound since 7 is in between
Ever since the 5-cylinder engines came out decades ago, I've wondered, "Why not a 7-cylinder inline engine?" I thought of this more for trucks and diesel than what sounds like sportscars and sedans. I would love to hear what a straight 7 diesel would sound like!!
Can you please do a 5 rotor rotary engine .v9 and w9 w14 w24 vs v24 inline 10 and v10 2 stroke and last inline 5 2 stroke without basing on other engine sound to make the mix or any sound recording of engines like the other videos all without wining sound of some sort of charger that is like a bucket list to hear that I know 3 of those engines does exist
This sounds like an I5, I6, and an I8 had a threesome in a good way. It has an otherworldly harmonic in the background like i5s/V10s but the base note is more like it can't decide between a 6 or 8. Makes sense 🤔
It kinda resembles a BRM V16 and to lesser extent Inline 8, perhaps something to do with having a 4 cylinder sequence in the rhythm What software is this that you use to simulate engine sounds may i ask ?
