John Blackwell was such an incredible drummer. I saw this tour in the 1st row in Chicago . I was part of the NPG Music Club and you got great seats for his shows. Prince walked right past my sister and I on his way to the backstage door. He was so damn tiny. This song and Question of U were highlights for me on this tour. This man was friggin magical. I was a walking goosebump! The chills his guitar gave me were unreal. He SHREDDED that damn thing! Thanks for the great vid! 💜

Funny story about "floor seats".... I had always just been happy to afford whatever I could, and once literally had the last row seat, back against the outside wall seat - but had my binoculars and was FINE. At Madison Square Gardens he sold $20 tickets, again, I didn't care where they were, I was happy to drive to New York to see him live for 20!!! Finally, I had a little extra change, and said THIS time I am getting me GOOD seats. I was almost on the floor, one row elevated, so didn't have to look over anyone's heads. HERE is the thing: Prince was famous for giving "free upgrades".... yup, THAT night, when I paid a couple hundred for great seats, was the same night I saw a streamline of people walking to the front orchestra pit, directly off the stage, where Prince could reach out and touch you.................... he had brought all the people from the cheap seats to the pit, FREE UPGRADE, all of them where I would have normally been sitting! LOL Oh well.... still loved the man for doing that even though I didn't benefit - shows his character!!! 💜💜💜💜💜

I saw him on this tour. We got moved down to floor seats. I remember parts of it and it was awesome, but there is a lot I don’t remember because I think I was starstruck. I also saw him during the 2004 Musicology tour.

Some baby making music right thurr. Like I said in the prior reaction video, Detroit concerts were one of the best venues for Prince. He always brought a little extra to Detroit because his music was receptive and he was loved there. Detroit was the place that lit the purple fire years before Purple Rain. He was grateful to the city and returned the love by giving a lot of shows there. Yes, Minneapolis is where he started but it was Detroit that gave him heavy rotation and thus gaining more popularity. I give MJ the credit for opening the way for black artists to appear in MTV videos. Musicology tour 04' in OKC was the last concert I seen. I can't even put into words how good it was.
