my munchkin has an elmo plate & last night i gave her bbq chicken bits w/ cabbage bits to make her feel more "independent." my greedy baby always gets mad if i eat bigger chunks faster than she gets all her shares... bc the audacity of her having to share her food w/ me. im jk. ive tested her sharing skills & i think that only works w/ me .. but the bits were so small.. she kept getting frustrated she couldnt pick it up. more frustrated when i tried feeding the pieces to her. even tho she got to some of em i feel like her baby mind: must just turn plate upside down, smear it everywhere, & wait. u know im surely gonna grip things easier my way tho k thx
My baby is 9 months but only has 1.5 teeth lol on the bottom… I’m still just doing puréed food bc of that. Did you start finger foods when he had more teeth? Your baby is such a cutie & great eater! Will be watching all your videos, thank you for sharing!
Never ever feed processed and packaged food to children 0 to 15 years. That help build their strong immunity, strength, stamina. Processed and packaged food contains chemicals which harmful delicate digestive systems which eventually harms whole body.
Mine is 9 months old too and he eats very differently. I nurse earlier in the morning before he goes to nursery. At 10 he has fruits, at 12:30 he has lunch. I bring the food to the nursery as i don't like what they give, it's blended vegetables (4 different seasonal vegetables, i steam and blend avery 2 days) blended meat, olive oil, grated parmesan cheese and pastina. This is what the pediatrician recommended. At 14:00 i take him from nursery and i breastfeed. Then is a a bit of seasonal fruit around 6 only if he is hungry and dinner is the same of lunch with fish instead of meat. I nurse during the night.
Mine is about to be 9months, I found it so interesting that a lot of babies with not many teeth are capable of eating this many more solid foods. Mine only has one tooth right now, I'm scared to give her the food as solid as these. Is there any tips?
@@Sunshinedoesmusic Right! My 9 month old is still predominantly drinking breastmilk. Just started purée’s the past month, and introduced dissolvable snacks this month. He still has only 2 teeth and a gag reflex with solids. I’m afraid to introduce anything else yet.
Somexs I think about all the ppl who have no teefs... & they're still able to eat & I'm just like that's what my baby must feel like. I give her solids, just things that would be easy to swallow. Just in case. Obviously I get paranoid about her choking. I was told to not to mix her cereal into her formula. But instead mix a little bit of formula in her cereal. I just said ok. In my mind I was like the hell u talking about. I still give her rice w/ her formula. *Or Vice versa 😑
Did you cut formula/milk at 9 months? I’m genuinely curious because I am currently doing a mix of the two, half formula, half solids like in the video.
I used to feel paranoid about giving my baby teething cookies. They make graham crackers for babies too. Well not graham crackers but graham cookies an animal form type things. I've thought about getting animal cookies just for snacks for her. She just lets them melt in her mouth. I kind of honestly think she knows better anyways. She just smiles w/ her cookie residue all over her face, looking like an entire mess, prob oblivious & she still looks precious. Although she does constantly make me think of the elderly folks I take care of. But all her drainage & waste, I'm less grossed out about. All her poo is still a bit pasty or just has the same consistency. Yeah I let her try different things but the majority of her diet is formula. Her poo is prob less idk, contaminated or something :/. I mean, I know it's still germy. It's just simply less gross. Plus those germs, I made them.🥰 Prob stuff only a parent could love, ha
@@He_Roblox2maybe because her child doesn't like eating, I can understand, as a kid I was super picky and wouldn't eat what my mom made for me and my mom would say she was looking at other kids eating whatever their moms gave them and I was over there like "....nope" maybe thats what she meant
@@lowretro21how much he ate doesn’t need to be shown to everyone lol? not everything needs to be on camera; besides the mom made the video to give an idea of what she makes for her baby.
I'll never understand people buying baby food in these plastic squeezies in different flavours when literally you can mash up a banana with a fork and thats what you paid for in addition to the plastic waste creation. How long does it really take to steam some veg and blend. Its the most frivolous and unnecessary expenditure of this era
I WISH my nephew could enjoy and eat full meals like him…he is addicted to the tablet screen that he has not developed a relationship with food.. he just eats/spites-out the 2-3 bites he chews and want out of the high chair to either watch coco-melon on RU-vid or baby shark. And for the age of 3 he is very under-weight and deficient in iron… by now he should be proper eating solid food like this approx 24 month baby… Im so worried about him.. because doesn’t listen to me and his mom or his grandma(my mom)
@@nikonicholson1 Pretty much the same, sadly. He loves chocolates and candy like every kid, which keeps his iron levels low. He's still underweight and has had three tooth extractions and fillings due to cavities. He nibbles on a slice of cheese pizza or a waffle with syrup while watching a screen. When he gets bored, he tries to get out of the high chair by spitting, pretending to throw up with gagging sounds, or having a tantrum and throwing food on the ground. He’s quite adept at manipulating situations to weasel his way out of eating. However, he has an advanced and sharp mind for a kindergartener. He picks up new things faster than his peers and can recognize and spell small words at a second-grade level. He's also started solving basic addition and subtraction problems, can count to 100, and knows how to tell time and tie his shoelaces. This is extremely surprising, considering his irregular and poor diet. He is a smart and well-behaved kid overall, both at school and home. The only concern is his unhealthy relationship with food. I wish he could eat a proper nutritious meal, have more variety in his diet, and actually enjoy his mealtime like the toddler in the video. ---
For people in the comments asking. You keep giving your baby formula/breast milk until 12 months THEN they can have COWS milk. Baby’s start purée foods around 4-6 months old and around 7 months can start having the baby puffs and teething snacks . But they STILL need formula or breast milk too even though they have started eating baby foods .
Where’s the meat and actually bioavailable nutrients from animal sources? Lookup dr Anthony Chaffee if you don’t want your children developing health issues eating this way
can you wean a baby before 12 months? i hear they still need their milk till 12 months but i wanna wean my baby by 6 months is that possible? can i just start giving my baby normal meals and completly get rid of the milk by 6 months?
In the 80’s we were told not to give them solid food until 1 year old. And they managed! So I wouldn’t stress over it, mama, even though we know solid food is okay now, the baby will let you know when it’s time for him or her to advance.
That's an extremely big amount of fruit!!! I was told by a paediatric nutricionist that I should give my baby no more than 1,5 fruit portion per day. The ministry here advices one fruit portion per day! And also very little iron here!!!
My Baby is 9 Month old i wish she would eat more tbh She eats half of the size from this portions and still want so much milk. Maybe i start to give her a Snack too
