I personally never thought he had a chance. Even before his off the court stuff, he just didn't give me the vibes that the league would back. He already had a lot of people that disliked him too, Ant you don't really find many people that dislike him.

I just need him to stay healthy and stay rooted. No dark paths and just stay focused. Those two I just mentioned are very critical to his success. I knbow he can as he has heart, he has a HUGE heart. I just need positive energy around him at all times, and that is tough in this new generation of Basketball

It depends on how close Anthony Edward mindset goes to MJ. This generation is different from 80s and 90s. Hard work, will to win no matter what for success, these kinds of mentality is standard in 90s. However today’s young people tend to weak and just enjoy the game.
Nobody outworked KOBE, MJ or LARRY. Lately Jokic has , but not always the case. I know AE has put in a lot , but I don't know to what extent. AE , JOKIC and STEPH make you want to watch.
AE is wonderful. But I say slow it down a bit. People love to watch athleticism and you can talk brashness and confidence all you want, Shai seems to have better numbers. Shai is a more mellow Canadian but he's also a great player and defensively he also has good numbers. Luka is an offensive force. So many players are also great as well. Wemby is crazy tall but does a lot of great things on the court. I don't believe this generation is any different and in fact, I don't believe in all this generational older is better stuff. There will always be lazy asses, the 90s, 80s and other eras had them and they'll always be guys and women that put in the work. And just because someone is brash and looks mean on the court doesn't mean they want to win any more than any others. Duncan was quiet, but he sure put in the work to win. Magic was smiling all the time but that doesn't mean he wasn't competitive. I know MJ looked like he was more determined than others but I think he just had the talent to rise above. I'm not sure he was more determined to win than other players. He just looked like he was. I know some folks won't agree with me but I think some folks are seduced by athleticism over results. A floater is 2 points and a posterize dunk is 2 points. But the dunk looks more impressive.
I love Ant but always lose about 6% of my respect for him when RU-vidrs show players or commentators saying Ant believes KD is the GOAT. It don’t even make sense!! Hopefully, he just meant KD is the best player right now in his opinion or hope he meant that KD has been his favorite player since childhood or something… I really hope Ant’s comment was taken out of context and that he doesn’t genuinely think KD is the greatest player of all time cuz that would be wild! Especially when Ant’s play mimics Jordan’s not KD’s!

Now Minnesota needs a creative offensive coach to put in plays to tire the other team they play instead tiring themselves out playing man to man defense and not able to play in the 4th quarter...coaching errors waisting Ant's talent till he can't hardly walk down the court in the 4th quarter of every game...

I compare him to Jordan more than Kobe. I live in Minnesota and watch the wolves every game. Ant's competitive nature and drive/need to win is more like Jordan and the way Ant plays defense is more like Jordan. There is nothing wrong with Kobe but for us guys in our 50's who remember a young Jordan I think ant is more like Jordan. Ant is only 22 so he is better than either Kobe or Jordan at 22. I was very jealous of Bulls fans in the 80's and 90's getting to watch Jordan every night. I can't wait to watch this kid's career unfold. I hope he stays healthy and humble.
