they don't disappoint with the animation but what about the fact that we will barely see the goku animation because of terrible revival conditions? dokkan does disappoint
@@ZEN-kr7vg how are his conditions terrible? It's way better than UI's AND it makes sense since you kinda have to die to make revival conditions work hence "revival". It's not like its a shit active condition like ssj2 agl gohan's
@@tophercabba yea I couldn’t do namek saga goku and I used universe 7 with goku and Vageta and lr namek goku gogeta old and gohan and ur that have 1500+ attack
Bro people who even try downplaying it know that they secretly be drooling over this like come on that active skill is one of my top 5 animations on this game
I don't think Nano realized that the costume change is basically a transformation. They have a different passive when they change into the battle suit.
Right before the celebration started I began to rewatch the end of the saiyan saga and the namek saga and now all these units are coming out and I can confidently say that they look so accurate to the show but just more polished
The only thing about dokkans animations is that everything is a little more choppy compared to the show. dbz is a lot smoother moving than dokkans animations, but regardless i love these
I just wanted to point out at 4:56 is the exact frame of the art of a old vegeta which in nanos namek saga event (the video was posted recently) and when he got to vegeta he said that art would look like LR art. then funny enough we get a LR vegeta with that same pose lol.
I've always been a fan of how dokkan does the powering up part of some of the cards. Like with the krillin and gohan. The energy around them just feels powerful
Just gonna throw it out there so everyone knows cause I don't think nano noticed but its not just a costume change with the boys its technically a transformation cause their passive skills change after they put on the armor 👀
That OST from the active school caught me off guard. I was not expecting that intro of piano and then completely shift to guitar. I think I found my new favorite unit in the game.
It may be an insignificant thing to most people but I've always loved that shot of goku digging his foot into the ground and taking off when he first starts the fight against frieza. Like you can feel the amount of speed and power hes gonna put out with that subtle shot

I like the effect of when it goes into the goku that the card art shows vegeta and hes see through in the art cause hes dead. Thats a really nice touch. I also think since they did this they should eventually do a dokkanfest vegeta that does the Final Crash against recoome. They could even do an LR cause some of the attacks that he does in that fight would be something Dokkan could work their magic on pretty easily. It being the predecessor to the final flash should make it almost a given
So glad I saved. I’ve become more of a collector on Dokkan, and just the iconic ness of the unlock potential mini arc and Saiyan suit swag, and then VEGETAS SPEECH🔥🔥 I’m hoping I can get these guys.
I can already tell you right now that they didn't go all out with Vegeta. Knowing the crazy attacks he throws around against Final Form Frieza. This tells me that Akatsuki is saving the good stuff for something else later down the line. But this also means I was off with my prediction because they used a moment from the fight with Jeice and a moment from his fight with Goku Ginyu and they end it with his death scene against Frieza. This honestly makes me wonder why? I would find it highly strange if they are saving these amazing animations for just another banner unit. Or are we getting another Namek Saga LR Vegeta down the line?
Bless you Nano for realizing the revive condition isn't as bad as everyone seems to think. It's essentially the same as LR Cell, whose transformation is quite common to see in difficult content
i think 29% is ok, your main units are likely not to get you that low, but you always get a super on a type-disadvantage unit that is likely to kick that off and plus there doesnt seem to be a number of turn condition before it's active which is a plus (for the revival)
the active is mirroring what took place in the anime…. Vegeta was about to die and then when he did Goku stepped in… I think the active skill is perfect for what it is supposed to represent even though the conditions aren’t easy to meet…. just saiyan
I can imagine something like, if you die from a atack made by a character with name including Frieza or something like that, and that would be soooo bad xD
Idk if it’s the same for y’all, but I’ve been grinding the hell out of Dokkan lately, and I’ve kept it at x2 speed for the animations and stuff and I got so used to it that when I go back to times one it’s seems even slower than it would’ve back then.
Gutted I had the mega shift multi lrs but no goku frieze new lrs I never had a shift this bad .4 lrs I desperately want and just can't invest any further.
Only thing missing from vegeta’s revive is goku blasting the rocks behind vegeta out of anger when he died if they added that bruh easily and I mean easily best animation in the game Edit: his super attack animations best in the game and the black out scenes? Holy shot
And you will never see those goku animations ever. Damn they look so good too. Plus vegeta is on his family on a card that has goku, but is not on goku family despite having vegetas family on it.
