He definitely is great, but he tries to do too much sometimes. Sometimes it works in his favor, sometimes it doesn't. With that being said, i will never bet against playoff Pat again after this season.
i think i have watched every snap of PM's pro career. he absolutely sees the defensive penalties as they happen and immediately throws the ball in that direction knowing he's got a free down to play with. this may be the least talked about aspect of his game.
