It was lame. And more for the quick progression of the movie MCU world. Plus wasnt the Mind stone the one Strange handed over in the Comic. Which was the ultimate defeat to Thanos. As Adam Warlock was already its Master. So even though it was added to Thanos Gauntlet he didnt have timate control over it. Which is why Adam Warlock was able to pull Thanos Mind into the stones world where Adam Warlock was Equal to Thanos. As the battle took place in their Minds. I always have a problem with How Powerful they Portray Thanos in the Movies. When In the comics he was beaten by the Silver Surfer. A lone combatant albeit a herald of Galactus. It's just too difficult to rely argue when both the comics and the movies are combined. As I site my comic book knowledge which the Movie is basing most of their knowledge of. Even with minor alterations has caused problems with the timelines further down the line. Which they then have to further and further alter the storyline just to make some kind of sense.

@@thedarkgunslinger2869 go watch the fight in New York. He dodges an attack from the claw guy without looking. He also deals with spiderman (where's spidermans danger sense? I dont know) Without even glancing backwards. In fact he pretty much toys with with 3 heroes until he gets injured. Then seems to finally take the fight seriously and ends it quickly. And completes his mission.

Thanos had to kill someone he loved to get the Soul Stone, but had to spare Tony Stark to get the Time Stone. Dr Strange has created a paradox within Thanos. Remember he could go back to revive Gamora using the Time stone but that would conflict with his acquisition of the Soul Stone.

Because deep in his soul he knows he's not worthy of it." This is why Strange gave up the stone, the only way to defeat Thanos is to give him exactly what he wants. In the comics Warlock knows this because of his connection with the Soul Stone, in the movies Strange knows this because of the Time Stone.

However, I have to respectfully disagree, to think Tony Stark is the linchpin to defeating Thanos, and is a better theory, is ludicrous. Ya, Tony is nearly as smart as god and twice as wealthy but he's still just one man. Whatever theory involves Tony must also include Peter Parker since they were both talking to Strange, you'd be hard pressed to find a theory that required Tony to die but not Peter hence the theory itself would be unfalsifiable. It would make more sense that "something" changed, or he had gained new knowledge, between Strange saying "...if it comes down to saving you, or the kid, or the Time Stone, I will not hesitate to let either of you die. I can't because the universe depends on it." and when he gave Thanos the Stone. I'd argue that "something" is Carol Danvers, since Thanos' victory/the Snappening itself is the only thing Nick Fury thinks is dire enough to recall Captain Marvel back to Terra/Midgard/Earth.

It happened so fast and unexpectedly for him to seal the breach and prevent himself flying out at the same time. He isn't as "quick" as Dr.(Time Stone)Strange, remember. Powerful but not quick.
