I am so happy that Jisoo landed her feet in the acting field. She was casted by the team who created Sky Castle through fierce auditions with many famous household names. Reporter Kim Ga Young said that Jisoo was very impressive behind the closed doors and was extremely confident in answering the questions, and she even showed off her studious side by jotting down the questions posed. Jisoo had looked the reporters in the eye and gave sincere replies, making a deep impression on them. Her acting in the teasers and trailers is very promising, I am so rooting for her. It saddens me that Jisoo having so much potential and impact is treated such by her own company, they need to get it right and Jisoo is now shining brighter than ever. Her face was the first thing which made me hear their songs and lateron I like all of them equally but still she's my most favourite among them followed by Rose. Glad you all also paid attention to this part, whenever I see their tracks Jisoo is quite missing and even the best dresses are given to the others specifically Jennie is the one who is visible in their tracks... maybe because she's quite photogenic which I understand she is but they should give equal scenes and lines to Jisoo aswell!! Apart from that now I am happy that she is doing acting and hopefully sing in her own series soon, so we won't have to worry regarding it! Am from the UK and Jisoo has been my bias since I first liked Blackpink. Saw them in London with a VIP ticket and when they left at the end of the gig, Jisoo was standing less than 2 metres from me. She. Looked. Stunning. Have probably watched everything about her on RU-vid and she has a great sense of humour and just a lovely person. If anybody throws hate and negativity at her, they must be completely stupid!

Jisoo is promising tho. There's a lot she couldn't do from the start and lacked a lot from the group's dynamic. She didn't have a lot of experience like the other. She only knew South Korea so she didn't speak English much but she picked it up well from the group. She started training late so she spent more time with friends. With even that her dancing just improves more and more with her performances. She has uniqueness like husky vocals and her acting capability which helps her shine in solo stages and in the new movie Snowdrop. Isn't there a dance component scene with her male lead? Her acting helps her emphasize well like people mentioning the fluidity in her hip or torso sway+ her facial expression captivates in her performance. I think Jisoo and Lia from Itzy fall in the same category where they can't follow along with just any music that's not from their own group's song. Like they need to step back and reevaluate think what the moves are. I mean you can't expect them to know all K-pop song categories that aren't theirs. But then that's okay, it doesn't mean they can't dance. They just never danced to it, besides isn't choreography made for them to practice to perform? As long as they get it right on stage it shouldn't matter. All idols are captivating in their own ways. What's best is even if you try to bring her down, Jisoo has a lot of support from members and family. She also has an uplifting spirit in her that she loves herself and doesn't care for what her haters think. She rarely reads comments and from what I see she has a lot that the group lacks without her. She doesn't give up, just like Itzy Lia despite criticism. It's funny they both have the same name spelled differently Choi Jisu (Lia Itzy) and Kim Jisoo Blackpink. Jisoo is different and ventures out more I guess in the sense, though she's not given a lot of opportunities to shine fairly. The other three members have fashion brands/makeup + solo music. Jisoo doesn't have solo music just fashion brand/ makeup and Snowdrop. But Snowdrop is a recent opportunity, in the past, she was neglected and treated poorly being left out in photos, left out in convo, etc even though she's like the main visual which doesn't make sense to me. But she's making her way seizing her opportunity through visual, better dancing, online mobile gaming, husky stable voice, acting, 4d personality that lights a room, and more while learning and speaking English. You can say there's no leader in Blackpink but even without English you can tell she's an unofficial leader, she's not shy to lead as the oldest member. I see in past interviews where all member looks to her to be the spokesperson to converse with the interviewer and she does really well and takes care of all the other members. Don't forget this, Jisoo is funny and comedic plus she was an MC for music shows before. She is not afraid to interact with other groups and of different genders. Wherever you place Jisoo, she can and will be able to adapt and work well with others. What more can you ask for in an idol who started late in the KPOP industry, unlike her other group members? Ppl need to wake up and give her the respect and recognition she deserves and hopefully, Snowdrop will do just that. I'm super excited it's coming out on my birthday hehe.
