@@Meeliiiiiiii Yes. satan be like "f you i own you bich - you're not sitting on heaven's side " JESUS is the only name that let hell freezes of Fear. - thanks for telling Truth
When I moved in with my partner, I kept all my stuffed animals. So when chairs aren't occupied by the living inhabitants, the teddies shall protect the seats. Keep them from being empty. Give our daughter lots of opportunities for tea parties too so it's a win win
Wait What’s so bad about mirrors? A dancer used to live in this house before I moved in so they made one whole wall a big ass mirror. It’s in the room I sleep in and i face it when I go to bed. Am I in danger?
@MeganArcher yep, so accepting of everyone else's right to practice as they wish that you put up this judgemental as fuck reel to tell new witches how to practice "The right way." The actions don't match the words, honey. Try again.
@AverageConsumer-uj8sm that's your right. I'd just rather let you walk your path. Not tell you what you must do, or not do. Must have or are forbidden to have, and that's all her youtube short is. If you find use of it, great! All I see is her closing doors for you because she doesn't open them. My advice is to take the best, leave the rest, and grasp not that which no longer serves you. Blessed be. P.S. I'm not your bestie, and know that was said in a disparaging way. Now, do I care? No. Have an adventure, you will certainly go places. I just won't lie and say you'll always enjoy the ride.
This is what a liminal space qualifies as. Liminal spaces isn't just a new internet thing. It is also a spiritual/paranormal concept as far back as the Ancient Greek mysticism. Hecate is a goddess in this mythology who is considered a liminal goddess. She was traditionally venerated and worshipped by keeping a shrine for her in doorways, crossroads, open fields, abandoned places, and even corridors, windows and hallways. Why? Because they are all liminal. Stadiums, schools, playgrounds, graveyards, and other places that have a higher volume of human foot traffic during certain times yet remain barren & empty during the evening etc are very liminal in nature and that is why paranormal investigators often explore abandoned places because they are not only creepy but they have high rates of actiivity interacting with the electronic devices they use.
What would you recommend to do with the empty chair? It’s for my desk and I can’t just leave it outside my room because of the people I live with, can i put a stuffed frog on it and call it a day? Also why the chair? Genuinely curious
Keeping the chair would mean welcoming the spirit to come sit and stare at you while you sleep? If you don't want to put it away just keep some things on the chair like clothes or anything just don't keep it completely empty
@@ParnaBiswas-iy2gj that’s ridiculous, if you have been a witch for more than a few days you should be able to form a really basic protection spell that would take care of an issue like this. Plus, you thing a spirit not having somewhere to sit will stop them from hanging out. They aren’t confined to some sort of weird, chair only sitting rule. They could sit cross cross applesauce on your floor. I understand the Welcome/Come in doormat thing because it’s a statement actively inviting stuff into your home. But the chair thing would be like saying that an unmade bed through the day is inviting a spirit to crawl into it.
THE EMPTY CHAIR!!! I’ve been saying this for years. And the same goes with open doors. Can’t have it, never will 😭 I only open my doors/windows when I want energy to leave the room.
I always put a book pile in my chair just so it's not empty :) sometimes a stuffie too! I always keep my door closed too. I almost never have my window open.
You might be a witch if the very sight of that empty chair gave you an ‘oh fuck no’ reaction, from the core of your being, without having to think through what’s wrong with a simple chair 😅
I felt it too! And I'm just discovering the world of witchcraft. One time I went to the bathroom at like 3 am and I swear I saw someone who looked like my great-grandma (who used to live in this house and passed away a long time ago) sitting in the couch. I feel like empty spaces in general are inviting for spirits
You should Before you go to bed you should cover your mirror if it's Facing your bed And completely avoid looking into any mirror during 12-5am As this is when Mirrors are open and allows Bad things to look through
Me too! I was very little when I stayed in my great-aunt's house and my cousin had one facing the bed. I remember being unable to sleep and feeling incredibly uncomfortable. I had to turn backwards to it and avoided looking.
I'm a trad witch myself, fetch bonded since 2018. The only thing I wouldn't do is share my chart, but only because I don't need strangers or other not so friendly witches to use that information against me. I don't experience spirits as something purely good or purely evil. They are as we all are, a bit of both. Just as nature intended. So leave the chair and should you ever have some unexpected spirit company, ask them what they can do for you in exchange for x and x. You'll be a better witch for it. ;)
haha my rocking chair nearly always has either blankets or clothes on it and my desk chair stays tucked under my desk (althoigh im not sure if tucked under the desk is good enough, should i put somerhing in it?)
omg i never knew abt the chair thing, i always have my chair facing my when i sleep bc i have a fear that something is gonna sit on it and i cant see its face but ig it goes both ways
Yes If you Would sit on it So would spirits Literally just put like a ball or a cup or anything On it that you wouldn't sit on If you wouldn't be able to sit down with that item on the chair, neither can any spirits and entities
EXACTLY! My family keeos saying I should put a chair in my room but a) I don't use the desk anyway and if I do, I usually just sit on my bed or I stand (I have a very tiny bedroom) b) I will not have an empty chair next to my bed and it looks messy and cluttered if I put one of my tenthousand (okay, more, like, seventy...) plushies on there (they are sorted by color, size, genre, cuteness and floof) c) I would barely ever even sit in it. I used to have a door mat saying "welcome friend", but ever since the movie Ouija came out, my friends kept having the wrong association about that, so I changed it for a rug saying "good spirits only". For "normal" people that looks like a normal teen-girl-thingie, for spiritual people it makes sense. I am also not a fan of open doors. My window is constantly open because otherwise my room will feel like a sauna and I can't breathe, old building(plus I am pretty certain my room was supposed to be a closet chamber or sth), but my window sill is covered in pentacles and sigils and not only have I applied a "salt-band" (loosely translated, I have no idea what to call it in English 😅) to the bottom of the frame, the windowsill is made of iron, there is iron on the outside wall directly above the window (yes, it's rusty, but it still works and it also kinda works with the color of my house), also there is iron in the floor around my bed. Oh, and the mirror has a pentacle in every corner, I furrowly cleansed it with water and salt before putting it in my room and I keep it veiled if I don't need it for anything. Anyway, if you enter my room, the first thing you'll probsbly think is "yup. This is a witches' room."
i'll explain. so, the doormat one is becuase if you put the words "welcome in" or "come in" at the front of your house, it's bound to lead negative energies and bad spirits into your home. the chair one is because, if you leave a chair empty infront of your bed a bad spirit is bound to sit in it and watch you while your sleeping. and the birthday one is probably something about protection and so it's less likely for someone to hex you since they would know less about you if you keep your info private
Hi! Here's some basic Tips I Wish I knew when I started Avoid love spells All together Learn the history behind Witchcraft and wicca Don't work with Deities so early in your journey,You are still new and could easily Upset them Write down Everything you find and learn Learn about the 8 pagan holidays Having Bells and Chimes in your home is a good form of Sound cleansing,And the sound is A good way to break the negativity Always cover your mirror Before you go to bed, ESPECIALLY if it's Facing your bed,or you can see yourself from your bed ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS Cleanse And Protect Your Room and yourself and Your Jar before you do a spell Charge your crystals and Stones by laying them in the sun for it's energy Dream catchers And hanging beads are good Investments for protection in your dreams Research what herbs work best for The spell you'd like to do Keep your workings secret,If someone were to find out you were Successful with a spell or In your shadow work They could try Hex you. I would have Loved this short video. Only I couldn't read half of what was being written. There was that fixed writing on the bottom that reaches half way up the page. Ugh.
@@HealthyLife9250we do. Christian witches are people who TRULY take in what Jesus wanted. To love and heal and to accept everyone and everything and to have an open mind. Christian witches understand that Jesus is open minded and will embrace all and everyone. That using crystals and candles and intention to heal and help is what Jesus would have wanted.
@@HealthyLife9250 the Bible was not written by Jesus. It was written by a follower of Jesus. It’s insane how corrupted Christianity has become, they think they are better than everyone else and that they are the only right ones. That is not what Jesus would have wanted. Not only didn’t he wish to not be worshipped-and then proceed to be worshipped- but he was a strong believer that everyone is equal and good as long as they weren’t evil. Jesus himself was a Jew and did not follow the Christian Bible, or faith, making it foolish to assume he would follow your Christian beliefs.
My cats sleep in a haunted rocker in my bedroom at the foot of my bed. It's been passed down for over 100 years. I'm the only one who hasn't seen the old woman in it. But I've seen it rock.
Take note it says BEGINNER witch. It takes self awareness & honesty to know if you're a beginner - study for years, never stop learning, & stay safe. Blessed 🙏 be.
Would like yo know where you supposedly got these taboos for witchcraft... never came by them in the 19 years i have practiced witchcraft other than the door mat
I don't think working with Nymph's so early in your journey is a great idea Especially if you haven't done any shadow work or cleansed your area Usually it's better to Stay away from working with entities and deities As a beginner,As you Arent fully educated on them yet and could anger them But if you have done your research,And know how to work with them And know protection spells for yourself and your Space then Go for it❤
Why are there those satanist symbols tho? Is witchcraft completely related to worshiping satan?? Is doing witchcraft like selling your soul to devil or something?? Cause if it is, I'm scared and don't plan on doing it. Can someone please answer my questions I'm totally confused 😭
How Wiccan is it possible to be without knowing the basics? It's not just you, i keep thinking this with lots of these comments. Students forever, yes. But so many new people take on religious labels without having studied enough years to inuit the basics, or w/o having learned them from doing studies. Please be careful out there! & I don't mean from ghosts in chairs 😅 I mean from the shady ones still living that may take advantage of novices!!! Blessed be, sweetie! 🙏 Please stay learning!!!
Your welcome as long as you don't hurt Anyone Same goes for everyone else Don't be ashamed to be yourself here, we're all trying to Be our best selves❤
There really isn’t any steps to become a witch. You don’t have to do a crazy ritual or anything, its a lot of learning, reading, and hands on. but I’d recommend you do a lot of research before trying to do anything. Also if you do any hexes or curses, be ready to have that come back at you 3 times as hard. Some witches believe in the 3 fold rule and some don’t, but just please be careful.
So, the empty chair thing I've heard of but what I don't understand is, does it have to be empty of people or just empty? I'd like to put my grandmother-in-laws antique armchair in our room as a reading corner and I was wondering if I could keep a pile of books or blankets on the chair to prevent it from being empty?
i'll explain. the chair one is because, if you leave a chair empty infront of your bed a bad spirit is bound to sit in it and watch you while your sleeping.
I have three chairs in my room and if they don't have stuff on them then I get a really bad feeling and something always happens the next day if even one of the chairs don't have anything on them so I always have a bunch of stuff on them
I KNOW RIGHT I've never understood People who can just have a chair empty, facing them While they're sleeping I'd rather throw away the chair than leave it empty near my bed
@@SkaterSkylan yeah, it makes me very uncomfortable. My chair is right next to my bed so I always put it inside the table and maybe even put on some plushies. And even when it's day, I always do that.
@@itsorpa1118 well technically, an energy Vampyre is someone whose vibrations are so low and so out of wack that they steal and drain Your energy, which is why you may feel emotionally drained and tired being around certain people
You can use the internet to find your birth chart, I just wouldn't recommend posting it publicly. It has information like your birth city which is sometimes a password reset question. It is more of a privacy issue than anything spiritual/witchy. :)
