This video just shows what old Roblox did better , not saying old Roblox was better. Maybe i got a bit of nostalgia here too , but most stuff i said is what i felt like it did better back then. After all Gen Alpha is made for new Roblox like i was made for 2015 Roblox and some were made for 2007 Roblox , can't complain about your opinions here.
Yeah in my opinion old roblox is better because there was no pay to win and you can become a guest and you could get tix per day and you could become a member of builder.

I played during 2017-2018 I was primarily an xbox player sure it was not old roblox but for me it felt like old roblox. Everything was just happier before it all fell apart

the community is mostly what have changed in my view, sure roblox do make some bad updates but the platform mainly build by the community, so half of the problem is kinda the community fault. and roblox ass moderation
Everyone has diffrent opinion. But i disagree. Everyone are just blinded with that. The boring games that you will play max few days and then leaving while we have obviously bad but also good games! For example doors/pressure, piggy, obby creator and more! These games infact coudnt even exist in old roblox.
Old pet sim SUCKED. The only teleport option was robux. Hover boards were also robux. And the map was massive but you had a slow walk speed. I still remember walking for 7 min to a zone and back to eggs

I think roblox during 2012-2019 was one of the best periods of any online video game ever created, and let me explain why. First of all, it was just so imaginative and creative, and the vibes were so good. You could really be any you use your imagination for. All the items were filled with charm and passion, and you tell the people behind this platform really cared about the items on the platform. Just the website design itself is so nostalgia and gives feelings of joy. Second is that Roblox actually CARED about the community. They were interacting with the community, and simply not making terrible updates. They were also making actually good events and not the classic “Grind 15 hours for mid items and pay for way more!” You may argue that the games were better, which is such a terrible excuse. It’s like comparing a blender project made in 2012 to one made in 2024. Plus, the communities in the so called “better” games are extremely sick and will sexualize any character that theysee
In my opinion modern roblox should be fun like the classic counterpart like, Good moderator, better at checking item decal or something else, good games, not allowed gambling or something,
its honestly tough to get moderators in this day and age, most people now are either retiring or are stuck on their phones. theres only a rare few who can actually work, and even rarer, some who can moderate a multi-billionaire platform

my recommended page is actually blessed and i discover some cool underrated games for it. things like muffin assault, life purpose, planet forge, antelligence, tower world. and some dumb stuff like literally watch grass grow, you dont wanna see me rage and get hit by a car simulator
I only managed to play Roblox in 2019 But I used to watch it in like.. 2016, and it seemed to be fun. Though, my memories are not really doing great right now, I can just recall games like Plague and etc
People that say old Roblox is better still are the most nostalgia bias players ever you really want to go back to the time where builders club was required for most games. And btw old Roblox at the max is 2009 new Roblox starts at 2010 due to packages and you could wear three accessories now at that time when people call old Roblox above 2009 they are just bias on the year they joined everyone who be saying old Roblox community Avatars moderation simplicity or charm is better never been on the fourms and old Roblox archives never heard of mse6 never actually made a good Roblox avatar and also has been cherrypicking games on the frontpage due to their low attention span to play anything good I have heard of people saying work at a pizza place is better then combat warriors (dead game btw)

Some ugc bundles may look cool but they don't even freaking work in R6, only old Rthro works and Display heads too which in result we get a player with Blocky bundle and Human realistic head, i still prefer R6/R15 and no 3D clothes because it's god damn expensive and doesn't work in R6, and about games you're right they might be boring or fun no matter what year, yet i would like to see my page have some random games and not just something similar i played like "Pizza place" (played) -> "Pizzaria simulator" (recomended) for now all i have to do is just use "Super place roullete" but the problem is that not that much players play "Super place roullete" but it's still fun to play with random players.
As a someone who created their avatar 5 years ago for 55 bobux and didnt changed it since then I can agree that skins nowadays are just trash for 800 bobux. Like u could have 3 good gamepasses or anything else than your 9th skin in this week that will look like a reallistic face on lego avatar
UGC didn't destroy avatars, now you have more customization, yes, they are not so simple anymore, but now you can have more indivuduality in your avatar, and no, I dont mean that the repeating cowboy nuggets skibidi toilets fall under that. The only problem of UGC is lack of almost any moderation, tons of dominus copies and awful low effort UGCs.
Maybe because of the recent updates everyone has been getting, and everyone thinks it also affects the gameplay (which has no diffrences other than the oof sound being replaced). which is what makes them THINK that old roblox is better because of the updates..
The dynamic prices (inflation) and dynamic heads ruined everthing. You literally can't afford a og face anymore, because they picked half of it to promote one of the ugliest thing ever (dynamic head). And yeah, the community just didn't denied about this stupid update. Can't say about the inflation, literally 2.0 package which costed 15 robux, now it's over 175 robux (basically more than 1 dollar for one package), while it's more worth to save and buy a animation pack.

A thing i don't like about new roblox is the MASSIVE amount of TOXICITY,hell i got bullied more than 15-20 times in slap battles(mid game btw)for stupid reasons,there was even a kid that threated me to get me banned by his alts by reporting me because of ""flexing and faking"" for saying i was an og of that game.Sometimes even the whole server was bullying me.

I don’t know how slap battles is still alive, the whole game is just repetition. For example, you just slap, upgrade your weapon, slap, upgrade your weapon, slap, upgrade your weapon and so on until you get that one golden glove at the end. Plus, the progression is messed up since you could be at magnet glove level but get the most op badge glove in the game. What now? After you get EVERY single glove, you only come back just to get the new glove. What for? i guess slap battles has a really loyal fan base
