The simple straight forward answer is to learn to be like Job. To think like him. This is the kind of Faith God, The Holy Trinity wants us to have. He gives us this example with Job's story.
It is impossible to understand the message of the kingdom without the spirit of the Father that teaches all truth. Hear the message with faith and be in the spirit to understand.

I am here to suffer and it's all I see. I have no idea why I deserve all this pain and don't see anything good from living even if I LOVE spending time comforting others. I have been doing it all my life with my friends who know well know that can come to me for a good word and understanding. Especially now that I can't speak well anymore (having MS) so I write a lot more than before that I have doing akk my life because loved it since I can remember. remember, it's not what you are doing with the church, it is what God is doing thru the church. When you get to the state that you feel the need to announce venues and numbers, then it tends to sound like you are bragging about what you are doing and taking the Glory and Honor away from God
Not at all - if it appears Pastor is bragging, he's bragging about the Lord. I know Rick doesn't take credit, he's as amazed at the results as we are. I hear you, though.
In Rick Warren's book; What on Earth am I here for, Rick says God punished Mohammad Ali, because Mr. Ali ran around the world saying he was the greatest. I can't believe that' how God is. I don't believe God rewards us here for being good and God doesn't punish us for being bad. I believe our experience here is a test and God has taught us the difference between right, and wrong, and it is up to us to decide how we want to live. I believe God will reward us, or punish us in the after life. I could be wrong about God, but I don't want to find out the hard. So I'll try to live a good life.
Pride before the fall. You can't live a good life by yourself, but you can have a useful life with the Holy Spirit working through you. How much you participate in that is up to you. Pastor Rick didn't make it up, it's the way things work. I know one thing, no other method can guarantee that even bad stuff will be for your edification. That only comes through our Lord who loves us beyond measure and wants us to grow.

Rom.8:28-30 is not saying what the KJV or any other is saying in english. What it is saying in the original language is this - 'all things work together for good to those who love those who love God'. It is speaking primarily of ministry gifts who are actually feeding you the Word of God due to themselves being in heir sins still. Besides that, the word call is a precept of the Father, and has 4 different meanings in the grk. 'kaleo, klesis, kalatos and kalamos'. Three of these relate to the Father and one relate to the Lord. "Calling and purpose' comes from and belong to II Pet. 1:10. where it says '..make your calling and election sure'. The first is last (Rom.9:9-13) therefore, election comes first before birth. Election reveals destiny, like calling reveals purpose. I guarantee you none opf what he says will relate to any of this, which is designed for the Lord to reeal the Father. This man has no clue
meechie B in all honesty and no disrespect intended, I have no clue to what you said or what your point is. Pretty much sounds the same but, you made a point of making yourself sound fancier. At the end of the day, the point is that we serve God and we all have a calling. We're all Christians, right? We all serve Jesus and I think that's what matters. We may interpret things differently, we may agree and disagree on trivial matters but, what matters is that we are all called to serve Christ. It doesn't have to be complicated and fancy. God bless.
Mim Mim For one, I truly appreciate your honesty and attitude. It is rare these last days whereby it is written, you shall know them by their love. Again, it is written, the love of many shall grow cold! So, I kindly address your reply with great concern. For one, I know you do not understand what I have said. Remember Jesus said about everyone, "we speak what we know". I come up in christianity, and was taught the letter of the Law. That is all a man who is a christian can teach you. You can read the bible for yourself for all the good what they say do. And I came up through christianity by a renown bible teacher. He is still in his sin. I came out of mine, the lord revealed the Father to me (matt.11:27-30) and the Father said come out from among them, so I did. I now only deal with Prophet, Priest and Ministry gift individuals. For the most part to help them be delivered so they can help others be delivered from hell, sickness and the grave. But God said, they will not hear. (Isa.28:9-13)
pt2. All who do not completely forsake their lives (by loving the Heavenly father with all their heart, soul, mind and strength) will be of the many that he Lord said will call him Lord on that day, but he will say to their faces, I never knew you. These are those who were not accepted of the Father so he never revealed the Father to them. Now tell me can you understand from that what I am about to say? And it is in response to your comments of not understanding. For one, no one can understand the Word of God until the Father reveals Him to them. Unless you love the Father with all your heart, the Lord will not reveal Him. he does not reveal workers of iniquity becuz the Father hates them for hating Him, by having no fear of the Lord. (Ps.5:5) This is my point. I am not trying to sound fancy. I speak what I hear from living in the secret place of the Father's Presence. There is no reason, other than sin, that you cannot attain to it also. This is outside of ministry gift calling and teaching due to the fact that, they can only teach you the letter of the law, and that kills. What I am saying, it is for everyone. Whereas the Word declares that we all should not become ministry gift teachers. Therefore, the calling has nothing to do with being a minister. Are you following me on this? Nor is it the same as anything else you have heard. But it is revealed in the word (II Pet.1:10 - how do you read that?) and by the Spirit.
pt.3 You have to prove God for yourself. In a place where you can shut the door and say I am ready for you Lord to reveal the Father. This is the promise of the commandment he spoke of. This is not a commandment of the law. That says you shall have no other gods before me. And say, I will not sin again until you reveal Him to me. I say it this way by the Spirit due to the fact that, once the Father is revealed, you are not going to want to sin ever again. The fear of the Lord in this manner becomes the love of the Father, with the fear that He would leave if you ever sin again once He has appeared (by His Spirit - Ruach zech.4:6) This is fulfillment of the word that says, he that is born of God keeps himself and sins not. (I Jn.2:29.3:9) How do you read these in the light of sin? Instead you said - "we all have a calling." What do you mean when you say that? I ask becuz of what your response to me saying it. and the fact you said this - " We're all Christians, right?" Not me! I was a christian, and I became a son, which is what Christ gave us the power (exoosia) to do through spiritual maturity. (Jn.1:12) The teachers are not teaching God's Word becuz they don't know Him. Christ will deny them. As far as - " We all serve Jesus..." Not if you still have sin. Sure, you can serve him by ministering to people the good news, or lay your hands u[on them for healing, or to receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, but Jesus said he will deny all those who said they did those things becuz they were still in their sins. To know the Father from the Lord revealing Him, you must be holy. There is only one way to God through Christ, and that is it. So, that is not all that matters.
pt.4 - Besides that, it is forbidden to lean to your own understanding. Even after the Father is revealed you cannot do that. It is through His Precepts that He reveals the Word to you. And it is rapid, fast and fleeting. It takes faith to sustain it to learn what He is revealing. I imagine that sounds equally baffling to you as well. Last thing; you said - "and I think that's what matters." I wish it was. No. All that matters is that the Lord reveals the Father to you for acceptance. The Lord has to accept us becuz all that come to him, do so in sin. But the Father is not like that. he will only accept those whom the walk with the Lord by taking his yoke(s). The Lord says, why call me Lord and do not what I say. When has he told anyone to continue in sin? Therefore, this is erroneous, and the main problem - " We may interpret things differently," If this was the case, and it was allowed by the Godhead, then there would be no need to send men to teach men called ministry gifts. So no, with this you are in error. Interpreta tion of the Word can only come by the Father,or there would be no need to reveal Him until physical death. I live, walk and stand in the Presence (Pawneem') of the Father as a Seer and prophet after the order of Jeremiah the weeping Prophet in the Presence of the Lord (Prosepon) And this entirely unacceptable to the Godhead - " we may agree and disagree on trivial matters.." The Word of the Lord says, can two walk together unless they be agreed. therefore, what does not stand with the body of Christ does not stand with Christ. That is a damnable attitude to have with Christ. It was started years ago by Kenneth Copeland saying it. Christians have been saying it ever since in stone cold error, not knowing the Father. However, this is soooooo true - " but, what matters is that we are all called to serve Christ." But I say by the Spirit of the Lord, how can you serve Christ in sin, when it si written lend not your members to unrighteousness. So don't be hatin' on me cuz I know truth (TAV) It is very complicated to oome to know and understand the Father which is what He requires. (Jerm.9:24) Becus you said - "It doesn't have to be complicated and fancy." have you ever read the bible from cover to cover? It is required to know the Father (a least three times - and after that for the rest of your life. I, and the Godhead, do not expect you to understand if you don't know Him.
