It looks to have created more collagen in your face. The scars look less deep and prominent. I would say a strong 40% improvement.

I researched that 1mm or even 1.5 mm is the depth you need for healing scar tissue. They sell adjustable derma stamps. The professionals of course will say its only safe if you pay them a bunch of money to do it for you but they are only going to do they same thing as you at home. The only difference would be numbing cream and new needles every treatment. It would be much cheaper to buy a new stamp every round than to pay the pros and get the same results

Yeah, I haven't microneedled for a while but the narrative seems to have completely changed over the years. So many on skincare forums were happily using 1.5mm rollers (though, stamps are better as they don't drag the skin and are less painful) but many aestheticians are warning against people doing longer than eg, 0.25mm or so at home....Why? If you research carefully and take your time, why not? It's because they want your business and they try to scare people. Also, being used as a hair growth tool is a new one on me - surely I should look like a sasquatch by now XD

@@louise_8546I bought myself a Dr pen and with a lot of research, I discovered stamping it rather than gliding it will give amazing results, and you don't have to worry about causing further damage to your skin. Plus, the cartridges are cheap.

You can do 1mm needling on your cheeks at home every 4-6 weeks. The 0.5mm you are currently doing on your forehead is deep enough for that area every 4-6 weeks, Any deeper than 1mm on the face should be done by a professional.

go with 2.5ml microneedling pen. it did wonders for my acne skin. i do it myself at home. it's easy... 90 of the scars are gone.

I'm not sure why you can't do 1.5mm (which is recommended for scarring) at home, as many on EDS (the skincare forum I haunted for a few years some time ago!) were doing this, and there were a variety of ages and skin concerns on there. The Dermastamp is better than the roller, anyway, especially for beginners, as it's less likely you will tear the skin. I realise you have been using 0.5mm needle length but microneedling 1-2 times a week or every week or two seems excessive...? It's generally recommended to do it every 6 weeks or so, to give your skin time to heal and replenish. You look great, btw and I absolutely know the pain and stress of acne and what a number it does on your self esteem!

Unfortunately 0.5 is not enough depth to produce collagen because it is not going to the layer of skin it should be you need to use 1.00 mm everyone is talking about it here there is alot if video about it

Is 70% too low? I read online that is what is recommended. I have 90% as well but read 70% kills bacteria more. It is very humid here so I assume it has to do with that. Our dehumidifier is full several times a day in the basement!

A great idea if you have the correct training! Or the money to see someone who is trained. But needling into the deeper layers of the skin without the correct technique can cause even worse scarring and damage to the skin

@@BriannaJane- agree with you! Even the experts in the field of microneedling, who used to go deeper, are coming to a less-is-more approach and using .25-.50, instead of going any deeper. In fact, they’re finding people get the same results over time without the issues of going deeper.

I have mix of ice pick, round, box like scars on my face. I purchased dermastamp for microneedling. What should be used: 1. before stamping to clean dermaroller/dermastamp and face? 2. same day on face after stamping/microneedling session? 3. next day onwards after the stamping/microneedling session? 4. Can we use Retinol/Tretinoin, Vit c, Hyaluronic acid, Glycolic acid, icing, collagen supplement etc. next day onwards after dermarolling/microneedling? Please recommend generic products instead of something that I can get only with a certain brand. You can suggest the brand along with the generic product. Thanks in advance (: @@SlickBoiMoi

You can often tell when a person’s intentions are a bit suspect, and that’s not the vibe I get here. When you’ve had bad acne and you find something that works, you want to tell the world. It just so happens that this was with a sponsored video. Let’s not shit on small creators for some small sense of power.
