These people are talking and talking like typical Nigerians that lack logic to do root cause analysis. They are talking of coach and coach and coach, but no one is actually talking of the real problem which is that WE HAVE NO SENIOR FOOTBALL PLAYERS IN NAIJA due to corruption of recruiting into the UNDER 17. How can you win when you have no one midfielder? How can you win when 99% of all players we have mediocre players? Yes we have Osimhen, Lookman, Ekong and Boniface, but can only 4 players win you a match? Osimhen barely made under 17 despite being good. Lots of his friends that were even better players never made the team because of corruption. I'm happy Nigeria is not going to world cup. Finidi George served this country deligently from 1991 to about 2002. In his career, he won 1 uefa champions league cup, 3 league cups, 2 fa cups, 1 uefa super cup, 1 intercontinental cup and 1 African cup of nations. He was the best in the world in his time. He is a legend, full of respect, yet he is still humble to the core. Bad results can't change who he is. Lampard, xavi etc are examples, but dragging Osimhen and Finidi George on the same sentence alone, is already an insult to Finidi. Napoli know this too, they mocked and insulted Osimhen on their own social media page, what did he do? Nothing till date! The root of Nigerian problems is the politics and government involvement. They are quick to take credit for success, and quick to distance themselves when the team fails to deliver success. Brazil lost to Germany 7 to 1 in the world cup and to make matters worse, in Brazil. This was televised worldwide. The Brazil government and the masses did not crucified the players. They regrouped and addressed their issues, then came back to defeat the same Germany in the Olympics. Nigeria is too quick to replace coaches. No local coach can take the senior team far these days. Keshi was an exception to the rule. The foreign-based players who are international stars will never accord a local coach the same respect as an "Oyibo" foreign coach. The same players will never disrespect or disobey their coaches abroad because that has career consequences, some of which are financial and long-term. But when they play for Nigeria, they are playing as "entitled players " based on their accomplishments and will always be prone to displaying a " big boy" attitude. Deep down, they don't have respect for these local coaches, even if they were once great players for the country. They are viewing them based on their present financial situation and pedigree. So, what they will tolerate at those clubs in Europe - they will never tolerate twenty per cent of it from a Naija coach.

Before the two games finidi didnt say osimhen refuse to play for him but because he fail to win those games, he had to involue the young player😅😅😅😅 . He could have won those matches without osimhen, finidi had quality players to select from. After his lost he went back to call out player who didnt turn up, disregarding the fact that he (osimhim) had presented reason for his absent before the game. It takes just one misbehaviour for some of these sports persons to lose respect. What Victor Osimhen has done against Finidi, a Nigerian legend is not acceptable. He must publicly apologize to Finidi. Everything is not money, there is need for caution and humility, no matter how great you think you are now. You have not attained the status that Finidi attained as a Super Eagles player. Withdraw whatever they said that you said against him and apologize. Nothing else will suffice.
