Ayyyy thanks for using my content. Glad more ppl will be able to see the concept I created! Also great video! 2025 looks to be a sick year for coasters😁👍🏼
Six Flags Great America has started teasing something on their social media with the caption "FearTheWrath" and was also up where the Mardi Gras Hangover used to be. This coincides with the name, "Wrath of Rakshasa" that was filled by Six Flags earlier this year.
Iiinteresting. I googled the name and its Hindu for demon/spirit. Odd theme frankly but makes me wonder if they are introducing a new ride with a demon/spirit theme in addition to demon, or if theyll replace demon with a new ride, keeping the theme in the new ride. Looking like a beast/son of beast scenario, but the name and theme really feels more like a flat ride than a coaster... very curious Im praying for a vekoma tilt, followed by a single rail, and my reach choice is ab and m giga. Frankly think a dive would be a 20 million dollar waste and we need an elite coaster at this point more than an expensive mid gp pleaser
@@davidnevolo4402 I could see them giving Demon the Loch Ness monster treatment and rebranding it as Wrath of Rakshasa. This appeases us old-timers by keeping the old ride, but then creates something "new" for younger generations to enjoy well into the future. It would explain why the rocks weren't put back in as well. I can see Raptor coming to SFGA. Like you, I'm not incredibly fond of the Dives, but they are absolutely adored by the GP which makes them attractive to parks for bringing your average parkgoers in. I'd also love to see the park get a Mack Hyper which could definitely be an elite coaster. Quick bracket back to the idea of a Raptor... If SFGA did receive the Raptor clone mentioned in the video, I can see it being a Jersey Devil clone and thus naming it Wrath of Rakshasa.
@@psychopompinc.646 yea! Jersey devil/ demon. If you look at wonder woman at magic mountain on google maps and then demon... they are exactly the same size and shape. The break run location too. Wild
What about ValleyFair!? They've been doing work on the old Dinosaurs Alive plot from what I know. That plot is big enough for a new coaster, plus considering that World's of Fun and Dorney just got new coasters, they seem like they're due for one.
Welp so far it looks like six flags is getting a coaster for most of the parks you mentioned. Magic mountain is still up in the air, but new england is getting a multi launch straddle coaster, but you missed one however. Six flags great america in illinois had been hyping something up, most people predicted it to be a dive coaster, which it was announced on Thursday that it in fact was. Great video keep up the great work!
I would love to see Ky Kingdom get a new Vekoma launch coaster with 5-6 inversions. But as For Cedar Fair parks; they have imo neglected Valleyfair far too long; it needs an invert/stc, and a new Mack striker coaster would be awesome and make the park worth the trek up to MN.
I might see my home park, Kentucky Kingdom, getting a Vekoma Launched Suspended Family Coaster because they haven’t added a launch coaster since Greezed Lightning.
I like Magic Mountain putting in an Intamin launch coaster just before Fast and Furios releases at Universal. Six Flags need to hold down the "thrills" as they combine with Cedar Fair to "compete" with Universal & Disney.
The Vekoma tilt coaster (circuit breaker) is not the world’s first tilt coaster (depending on when iron rattler opens at six flags Qiddiya) it will be the second or third. The world’s first was Gravity Max in 2002 located at Discovery World in Taiwan. The more you know. 🧐
Probably but I doubt it since I’ve heard that they can’t afford to add new coasters. SFM on the other hand removed theirs for a speculated tilt coaster to replace it
I agree what you’re. They won’t get anything major next year since Flash will reset the clock for them, even if it wasn’t their “planned 50th anniversary” coaster.
Typical, the #1 attended park in both Cedar Fair's & Six Flags portfolio was overlooked and forgotten..... Knott's Berry Farm. They do 6 million+/yr BTW (source: cedar fair Aug 2023 earnings call). I know they're not getting g the Giga they deserve, but their remodel of the Swartzkofpt Shuttle Loop coaster into Montezoomas Forbidden Fortress, an LSM randomized launch coaster, it's scheduled to open in 2025. Its OK, the eastcoast coaster community routinely forgets about the west coast, I would too, you guys have all the BEST in coaster tech in ALL generations. All we have is the 4d coaster X2, everything else is a smaller version of something or clones 😔. 40 million people in California yet our lineup is lackluster and nothing special 🤦♂️
