Hot pink Low-Cut is what I have. Took some time to get used to coming from a very high tee but I love the freedom of ball placement you get on a vortex. Thinking about trying a Mid-Cut as well but unsure if I should just stick with what's working decently well for me.
Great Jonathan! When ever I want to have a crack from halfway I always grab the HIGH Cut for some fun. Its all about what you can consistently strike the ball well off. I would suggest trying the MID cut and then make the call for what you use in games. Pete
oh my ghod you are the best rugby kicking teacher on the world, better then carter, mouanga, farrel, your mom and more... I choose a RBVortex Low Cut Kicking Tee. thank you so much (aI am from czech republic) : )
I used to kick with a high cut to get that extra length but I thought kicking with the mid-cut would help me get a consistent strike and accuracy. Now I'm struggling with the transition and have lost heaps of distance and have now overall technique. What should I do?
Hey JP! Sounds like you are just going through a small Dip in your kicking rhythm. I would suggest going back to kicking out of hand and get that nice strong strike back in your muscles and then get back to the tee. Peter
@@rugbybricks Thank you, Peter, I'm back kicking on the mid-cut - the cues in this video of getting up the back of the ball and pretending to kick a ball out of hand really helped. I feel like I'm making progress again so thank you!
Hey Shay, Short answer is no, these tees are soft on the foot but just the right firmness for windy conditions for weight and stability... we tried hard, heavy, light and plasticity but where we landed is a thing of beauty! Pete
Hey bro firstly is that pitch public it looks 🔥 and also what balls do you recommend training with no way in spending that much for a Sirius- loving the content bro 💪🏼
Hey Claude! The Sirius Rugby balls are quality to kick with and worth the price. My next Fav Gilbert ball would be the Gilbert Barbarian - Its the best for Passing, Kicking and has the best life span in my opinion for a training ball. Peter
Hey, what one should I buy, a mid or high cut. I can kick but not very good, I’m not new but I haven’t mastered it, normally I get short when I practice with my super tee. What do I do?
@@rugbybricks hey, I’m getting a mid cut for my birthday. What colour do you think is the best, I previously got the black colour but it was a bit dark, I’m really looking at yellow, blue, pink or white idk about the purple. Any suggestions?
Are you looking to get a lot of distance because then I'd recommend the high cut. Mid cut is also good but I doubt you'd get that much distance and height. You'd probably still get a great strike tho. Hope this helps. God bless everyone
Just ordered the midnight purple high cut kicking tee as coming from a Gilbert low kicking tee I’m looking for a lot more distance and a better position with the ball. I can’t wait to use it!
RBVortex Mid Cut is the best place to start. From there you will get a good idea of height and strike but I am sure you will enjoy it from the first kick! rugbybricks.com/collections/kicking-tees/products/rb-vortex-mid-cut-kicking-tee Pete
Got the RB wolf but felt a bit low so got a hot pink mid cut on the way hoping to get a better connection on the ball think I’ll try both for a while judge what works best.
Idk if the cuts make a difference in range cos boffelli can kick from like 55m out and he uses low cut, so does Thomas Ramos. But it always depends on the kicker

I’ve currently got a Gilbert tee and place the ball relatively upright when kicking. I’m torn between staying with my current tee or getting an rb vortex mid cut. Of course you own rb kicking kicking tees but have you got any advice on what I should do?
Good question Tom, I think all kickers go trial different kicking tees looking for that extra 1% of accuracy. I tried over 10 tees before settling on one. You learn a lot in the process as well! I would say try one! Pete
Just bought the mid cut pink. Coming from the super tee kickoff where i could hit them from 50 out, I had to adjust to the height difference but am hitting them so much more consistently and working towards getting more distance
