What REALLY Happened At The End Of Snow White | Based On A TRUE Story

Many people who have watched Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs know it as a classic tale about love overcoming the cruel force of a jealous and wicked Queen, who desires the heart and beauty of Snow White. We watch as the queen transforms into an old witch and tricks Snow White into eating a poisonous apple, sending her off to a deep sleep until she awaits true love’s kiss. Lucky for Snow White, the Prince comes along and awakens her from her otherwise eternal slumber, and they ride off on his white horse to his castle in the distance, and they live happily ever after. A perfect fairytale ending, except…that’s not what the story is REALLY about. Turns out, this Disney ending was merely a sugarcoating of what really happened, and that the true ending to the story is much deeper than you think. Though we see Snow White happily returning to the Prince’s castle at the end of the story, a theory has been brought up suggesting that the Prince may have actually been an Angel of Death taking Snow White to the afterlife!

I still like to believe that it was just Snow White and her Prince Charming going off to live a happy life. even with the castle in the sky, back then Disney was even more hellbent on giving their stories magical happy endings to make the kids that watched their movies happy and amazed. so while people think theres a dark secret in the story, sometimes the story is just that. a story. and this is Disneys own take

❤❤😂🎉 yeah, especial now that the Real world overwhelms us with all the villians taking over humanity.. I like this analogy since it makes more sense to my eay of thinking, however, seeing it through the innocent perspective of a child is so much awesome❤🎉❤🎉 Disney is ingenious..portrayal of different characters throughout generations.. 😊😊 just look at the wizard of Oz 🎉🎉 Good stuff to watch my grandchildren🙌🙌👍♥️

The ending is really a happy ending and the Prince’s kiss actually breaks the spell and wakes up Snow White. The theory of Snow White going into her afterlife to a castle in Heaven isn’t true. Whoever came up with that theory is very ignorant.

The Prince actually had more scenes that were left on the cutting room floor. including a scene where he was captured by the wicked queen. Had these been kept this whole theory of him being the angel of death would fall a part.

@@kenkan-edgy7206Same here. When i watched this movie when i was a little kid on the good old Vhs i was like "This can't be his castle. How are they gonna get up to the castle without flying? Can the horse fly? Can they fly? They don't have wings so how can they get there? Why is the castle gold and high up in the clouds?" Now i just see the castle as being the entrance to heaven where the "Prince" is taking here to join her parents and family in heaven for eternity. 👼🏻

I was watching the movie a couple of days back after a long time of not having seen it and I had this exact thought. It makes for me the story more beautiful and deeper. I chose to see it this way rather than her just leaving to a better life with a prince she barely knows. This meaning makes more sense to me than the one I've heard over and over again. I remember when I was a kid, since the very first time watching this movie, I thought Snow White was dead and was taken to heaven, because the castle is situated too high above the clouds to be located on earth 😟

my theory: The prince actually died in the movie because of lack of dehydration.. how? well you see the queen was never worried about how the spell breaks in the book as if the prince was taken care of already/ back then the way u had to get water was from the wishing well. the prince got captured and kept there untill he died. it is seen when she is ready to go to the boat she talks to the skeleton "thirsty huh?" thats the prince corpse/. snow white died from lack of air. seeing her coffin was made of glass. "she was in sleeping death" it is proven that humans can only live to 5 hours in a glass coffin before dying. they open her coffin when the prince comes. but it is seen that shes been in there for months. even the cards have the background of the season changing and it changed to spring to winter (etc) and notice how they say "in her death" not sleeping death. proving that snow white and the prince died and their souls lived in heaven.

True. The prince was sent to pick her up and get her to heaven. But i think that her last wish was to see her dwarf friends one last time to say goodbye to them for ever. So she wakes up for a few minutes (when the prince kissed her and she wakes up and everyone was happy to see her one last time) and says her goodbyes to them before she was willingly taken by the prince to heaven where she found peace and was happily ever after.

I am genuinely surprised at the fact that there are no other comments! (At least at the time of my comment) Not only was the initial part of the video superbly interesting- (and CREEPY) I've never heard this theory before, but I LOVE listening to creepy theories about television series and animated films! You brought up a lot of good points and also provided ample receipts for your theories. And the history FAQ regarding *Margaretha von Waldeck* was EXTREMELY interesting! I LOVE literature and I LOVE History, and I have never heard of this woman, nor have I ever known that the character of Snow White was based on a "real" person! I would have assumed it was based on some past plague (like most nursery rhymes) but WOW. *THANK YOU* for uploading and providing us with this info. I'm already Googling this lady.

31..Isn't that the same age as the angel of death? Wasn't death portrayed "riding on a white horse" much like the prince was ? Why did Snow say goodbye to all the dwarves as if she'd never see them again? As if she was dying? Why was the castle shown in the end up on the clouds like heaven is?

father owns mines that process copper. runaway daughter dies from poison found in the processing of copper ore. could just be contaminate well water from well or a evil father getting rid of his child because she fraternized with the help.

This is just a scary made version...personally thinking..its logical to just runaway at the sight of a stranger..she was just startled! But she came bck again ..it's a natural behaviour doesn't make sense of the 'prince' being the 'angel of death'😂

Whoa, hold on. Where did this theory come from? Because I've been suggesting this for years. Only I point out that the character's name is simply: "The Prince" as in "The Prince of Peace" (Jesus) who is also portrayed on a white horse in Revelation. Didn't know about the historical paralell, though.

The original Brothers Grimm version had a happy ending where Snow White wakes up. The Disney version is a more romanticised happy ending. Religious or people with mental health issues should refrain from pushing their bizarre view that Snow White died after being pursued by the angel of death...geez

Why did you have take a shot at religious people? You have a prejudice mine if your first was a religious person. I'm religious, and I think this video tells a theory that doesn't hold. People need to read Fairest of Them All book which gives insight on the story. It also gives insight on the Prince's role in the movie.

The 7 dwarfs represent the 7 chakras and the deep sleep reps the death of Christ and the kiss giving her a resection. Look up Jesus riding on the white horse or the book of Enoch making it to heaven alive. The dark forest reps the dark knight of the soul with the apple as knowledge and poison from the devil of temptation.
