Power and drugs at a young age is not a good mix. This exclusive with Tycoon Suuupe aka Supa Blanco details what really happened to Squad Up before and after the presence of Lil Wayne. / tycoonsuuupe
I tell you what Squad up don't Back down from a fight.I Remember when B.G drop that Quick to back down cold Song in the Club a Banger.B.G was out his mind with that Smoke on that Song.,But one of the Squad up Member Said.B.G was on Tour, and Shitted on himself 'Savage'.Remind me of Lil Reese,Shitted on himself when them G.D caught him Slipping. That Dope Percocet Shit right there.
That’s what I be trying to tell niggaz. They be thinking he started rapping harder when that first dedication dropped naw it was when them sqad mixtapes came.
The lesson most of these young dudes have to learn is that everyone is not going to be the star of the group. That's why it's important to learn and adapt. It's okay to be the engineer, photographer, stylist, manager, road manager, DJ, producer etc.... Find your niche and master your craft.
I get why you say that because I felt Super Blanco wanted that spot but Birdman wasn’t on top of what was working. I don’t think he figured it out until he started Rich Gang… which is basically what Sqad Up would have been.
@@BMo85 not the “most”but they had some talent raw dizzy nut young yo gudda gudda supa blanco and streetz lm forgetting somebody but that’s how hard they were
Much respect to New Orleans coming from a Cincinnati nigga, the hip hop scene in New Orleans always been top tier in the south and some of the most lyrical poet rappers that ever lived come from out that city. I can’t wait until y’all get a interview with Mac……
“if youn’t know me, don’t dap me... cause my eyes low like my hat be, and i’m known to have beef.” that ‘Headachin’ was my shit.. i bought that “Now Or Never” CD bacc in 2005
I remember Lil Weezy gave Sqad up a shout out on BET Rap City In The basement then B.G. & Baby looked at each other with a look of disgust while Weezy was talking to the Camera. I knew then that was going to be a problem with Wayne trying to have his own.... It was also pretty EPIC for B.G. to temporarily squash his beef with Lil Wayne & take up for him with his problems with SQAD UP.
I'm from Columbus and I was a kid bacx then but I remember hearing about Wayne and sqad up runnin around in the city. The hood Easthaven out here on the east side starting calling they self "SqadUp Easthaven". They still to this day call they selves "Sqad Up"
Sqad up era is when Wayne started actually freestyling on tracks and that sharpened his skills alot there's classics on them Sqad mixtapes I remember being the only one of my friends at the time who had the Ether and grindin freestyles 🔥🔥
Wayne blew up after they left motivation is the best drug a man could ever have, he brought some of those snakes back when he blew, I would of erased them out my life forever.
What do you mean Wayne blew up after they left? Wayne was an established artist before they were even around. He was already platinum with a few tours under his belt before SQ.
Sqad helped make him who he is!!! big factz because!!!! Fun fact sqad was on da Carter album he redid the songs took they verses off. I wanna hear that shit with da sqad
I was like 15-16 in the SQ era! We had a crew in school we called Squad Up lol them boys was killin shit on the mixtapes back then. Wayne starting coming into his own 💯💯💯💯
Even after leaving Wayne their mixtapes were on fire. Undaground Legends, Scared Money Don't Make Money, Don't Throw Rocks At The Throne with Flip, Reloaded, We Do This, Eyes Above the Water. Let me know if they'res any more I forgot

Im from Cincinnati, and man the squad had us in a chokehold...matter of fact, the whole new orleans movement from about 1994 with no limit to cash money dropping the hot boys first album in 97and so on... from the 513 to the 504....we fucks wit them boys
Squad up was backed by money youngn after they moved on from Wayne, run by spanky, who sent the hit on Soulja slim. Fee was also respected in the streets and respected by bg
I’m from Cincinnati. Honestly, Wayne and Sqad Up started that mixtape shit. We was on the bootleg man ass every week when sqad was dropping. You can still listen to the mixtape on Datpiff

Birdman slept On The Group Squad UP He Should Of Signed Them And Put That Bag Behind Them Ant No Telling How BiG They Would of Been. They Could Of Been Bigger Then The Hot Boys Even if The Manager Would of NEVER Got LockUp They Probably Would have A Hit Album or Something Cuz The Deal With Def Jam Records Had Them SETUP For Success,Wayne Should Of Went BK And Signed Them 2His Young Money Label Wen They LOST The Deal.Cuz Now That He's FREE from CMR He Can Put Out Any Artists And Music Without having 2Get Permission From Birdman And Slim..🤔😎✅
@@Moneymaker600 that was before they became a group... wayne was tryna marry her at the time and some how him and young yo (the one hittin toya) got cool and that was the beginning of the sqad ...
