How can you not love André 3000 such a humble down to earth individual and Big Boy a Cool Guy. Love Them..

Outkast was way ahead of their time. Haters doing what haters do.

Andre was always seen as eccentric...but so is every artistical genius.....Him & Big Boi were doing avant garde stuff that nobody else was doing back then, which made Outkast to this day one of the most unique musical duo of all times.

Outkast deserve a heck of a lot more recognition than they got... Bonafide Legends of hip hop.

Andre and Big Boi together are the bomb; creatively, Andre is just part of some rare air.

The brothers thought outside the box had a unique sound that no one else was doing and they made it work❤

I knew both. Good dudes that were really part of the "underground" Atlanta scene. Atlanta has changed so much, but one thing remains, the city loves OutKast!

Outkast is my favorite hip-hop group/hip-hop duo of all time. Their musical greatness and excellence is unparalleled and umatched. I'm still praying and hoping for a new OutKast album but only time will tell. Also Andre 3000, is one of my favorite music artists of all time. And he is my GOAT 🐐 Rapper of All Time.

Don't forget big boi... Whole tripplet flow of Atlanta is his invention migos, gucci, future.. Everyone is mimicking him..

OMFG! Say it with me, Ahh-kweh-mah-ni!!! Miss Jackson is my favorite Outkast record. My favorite Andre track is Hay Ya! 3 stacks is a living legend. I like Big Boi, too, but Andre has always been in my top 5 rappers list. It's a shame they split up. I'd love to get another solo album from Andre!!! I say another solo album as their last double cd Speakerboxxx and The Love Below were separate projects.

That feature with Rick Ross Sixteen is just incredible. His bars, the way he rapped it, flow, content, it was just perfect. Outkast is my all time favorite rapgroup and I love them both but Andre 3000 he is just....another league.

As a Cali girl - LA & IE to the heart, I was in middle school/high school when OutKast had first come out. I remember watching the Source Awards on UPN when they got boo’d and as a Cali girl I didn’t understand their music or artistry. I literally took me becoming grown to appreciate them and I think the discussion around the top 5 doesn’t include Andre like it should.

PEACE, and having a peaceful mind and peace within you, is truly a wealth that no amount of money could ever provide. I’m happy Andre’s where he’s at in his life right now. It’s a beautiful thing. The industry is wicked and some people are just too good at heart to be apart of it.

Came to say that Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and OutKast don't get enough love today for what they did for all of us and the scene/music, I was blessed to be in the South when they were blowing up along with Nappy Roots. Much respec! and before yall get at it, I'm not saying Bone Thugs are from the South, i can hear your 4chan keyboards starting.

Miss Jackson & The Way You Move = by far the MOOOSSSTTT FAV TRACKS FROM OUTKAST!! i came to know about outkast only through MS Jackson!!, the music of that track is SOOO ICONIC of outkast. Year 2K and it aired for the first time in our country on a music channel, and thats when i read the word Outkast first time in my life. About 4 yrs later i came to know that there is an actual word called outcast in english dictionary and has a meaning 😂😂😂😂. Excellent Video Music Vibe!

Sounds like Andre and Bigboi are for real. I get it people change and move forward. Appreciate the uniqueness and creativity of Outkast. It would have been easy to continue with thug rap but they challenged themselves and made music beyond rap, dare I say pop. Unique catchy beats and rhymes that can still be listened to today.

OutKast really is the duo that garnered the attention and respect in other regions, that the south had been demanding for so long in the rap scene. The music was so different and just felt good. I remember that Source Awards. "The south got something to say." That was so brave and honest. Three stacks was just speaking from the heart, but he didn't know those words would be historic. People say they were ahead of their time. I say they were right on time. They were the balm rap music needed in the moment. It was stale, trite and that beefing BS was old. 'Kast and Goodie Mob got people back to rockin' and enjoying hip hop again. They are absolutely near the top of my G.O.A.T. list for music artists and they paved the way for so many southern artists. #Respect

I love West Coast Rap, East Coast Rap too and Outkast was totally Badazz they had such a rare gift of not only thinking outside of the box, but reforming the box using origami to morph it into a flying amphitheater that can also be converted to an underwater vessel. Outkast lyrics were phenomenally spent & spit that's a GOD given gift. 🙌 🙏 Please don't get it twisted there's a plethora of talented people but I'm not big on the cussing element that many rappers tend to hide behind as opposed to sharpening their skills by incorporating a thesaurus into their weaponry, no disrespect but I respect the art far too much to not come truthfully because that's REAL Love 4 Really... Outkast elevated Fusion to Mach Speed creating its own individual genre & art like a patchwork quilt becoming a flying carpet of sorts. It's like when cooking something that you're well versed with and someone else attempts to recreat it but there's key elements, timing, & vital tasks of precision that must be implemented to achieve "That Taste"... But Outkast was the much needed missing ingredient their music flipped perpetually taking major creative risk by incorporating theatrical, historical, eccentricities and by decomposition gone wild their process was Absolutely 💯% Amazingly Brilliantly Stellar!!! I pray that Andre gets healed in JESUS mighty 🙌 name from whatever traumatic experiences & events that he went through because he's still a person you know. There's a lot more to fame than money, exposure, and contracts there's a plethora of dark, dank, treacherous vices that tear people down in that arena unfortunately as well. People have to be very careful envying others because the things that they endure once the stage lights go out and the cameras are off depression & loneliness tightly coil around like a python to destroy folks thats exactly what's really up. One correction, speakerboxxx /love below did NOT sell the most COPIES it sold the most UNITS. It's a double album so each COPY counted as 2 UNITS. So it being 13x platinum means it sold 6.5 million copies, not 13. Any single disc album that sold 7 million or more actually sold more.

I love how Andre 3000 mentioned how people were wondering about his behavior as far back as Aquemini I will argue that Speakerbox may be there most popular album but definitely not their most legendary. ATLiens really cemented their style. Organized Noize was also such a HUGE part of their sound that they deserve mention every time we discuss Outkast

The first three records are flawless.

My brother had the ATLiens album when it dropped and we listened to that as kids alongside 2Pac, Bone Thugs, Ice Cube, Snoop albums and we would just "borrow" each other's rap albums growing up. So when my mate who was into mainstream Rap when Ms Jackson and Hey ya dropped was asking me if I'd heard of them before. I quoted ATLiens a bit badly as I'm not a rapper. But my mates who were not as into rap music as I was I was able to connect more musically starting with Outkast.
