I feel so bad for Boogie. He tore his Achilles just months before he was about to get his max. Not to mention he went from the best big in the league to a journeyman in like 4 seasons

I know that Golden State would've still won but if Boogie was healthy for that 2018 playoff run, New Orleans would pose a threat to them. Boogie & AD would create a lot of problems in the paint.

Man, pre-injury boogie was a beast. I remember him and AD giving us videogame numbers at a nightly basis. (As a 6th seed, they swept the blazers in the first round. They could've given the warriors a series.)

Some players will suffer one of three debilitating injuries. ACL tear, Achilles tear, and torn quadriceps. Demarcus Cousins suffered each one and all of the same leg smh. I'm not saying he's a bad player now but definitely not the all star caliber he used to be.

Too cocky and wanted things to be given to him instead of putting the work, great player but you can see he’s lazy and doesn’t care half the time

I didn’t like him back then because of his attitude on the court, but I respect how far he’s come and all the progress he’s made to get back into the league. All of the stuff that happened seemed to humble him.

Boogie was my boi. He almost has the temperament I’d want for my team. I’d just want him at an 8 instead of like a 12. He doesn’t know when to shut it down to save himself for the game. I like that he sets the tone, but don’t keep going.

Great video. As a Kings fan I agree with you. We made so many mistakes Demarcus I know was probably extremely frustrated by our moves in Sacramento. I hope he can play well as a role player for a good team. My Kings still haven’t made the playoffs since 06. I think with Fox growing, Mitchell and the focus to improving defense we finally have a chance to get to the playoffs. Wish we could have done better building a team around Demarcus in Sacramento.

Not trying to throw shade, but I’m general ive found myself tuning into this channel less and less and I felt like you might like to know why. You are, and have always been, a great narrator and story teller - it’s what got me into your channel originally when you were first coming on the YT scene. However, I’m finding myself watching more informative and “knowledgeable” channels these days. I think you’re great at researching a topic and converting that research in an entertaining way. However, and not to be rude, but I think we both know you’re not the most savvy when it comes to basketball IQ. You can read stats, but I don’t think you actually know the game that well. Maybe that’s not what you’re going for with this channel in the first place, but I find you’re getting lost in the crowd of other channels who just read the stats/numbers and tell a story based purely off that. Nothing wrong with it necessarily, but a guy who really understands basketball knows that there is more to it than just stats *cough* asks the Harden era Rockets and Westbrook era Thunder *cough*. I think this video demonstrates my loss of interest pretty well. You did your research, looked up the relevant stats, but beyond that I don’t think you really grasp the game itself. Keep doing you man, I’ve been with this channel for a while and I still enjoy the content. Just find myself drifting away from it a bit recently as I want some more genuine insight rather than history lessons and story telling. Best of luck man, just sharing my perspective.

I remember that whole 2016-17 season as a Kings fan. We moved into a new arena, got a ton of new pieces around Boogie, and he delivered. We were at the 9th seed in the West with wins over dominant Warriors and Cavs teams with an easy upcoming schedule after the all star break. It looked like we would finally make the playoffs and the streak was over. Then came the all star game. Those news hit all of Sac like a bullet. We still haven't made the playoffs since then.
